Ezekiel 6

1 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

परमप्रभुको यो वचन मकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,

2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

“ए मानिसको छोरो, इस्राएलका पर्वतहरूतिर तेरो मुख फर्का र तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा अगमवाणी गर् ।

3 and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys: Behold, I, [even] I, do bring a sword upon you, and will destroy your high places.

यसो भन्, “ए इस्राएलका पर्वतहरू हो, परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको यो वचन सुन । पर्वतहरू र डाँडाहरू, खोल्‍साहरू र बेसीहरूलाई परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः हेर, तिमीहरूका विरुद्धमा म तरवार ल्‍याउँदैछु, र तिमीहरूका अल्‍गा-अल्‍गा ठाउँहरूलाई म नाश गर्नेछु ।

4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols;

तब तिमीहरूका वेदीहरू उजाड हुनेछन्, र खम्‍बाहरू नाश पारिनेछ र तिमीहरूका मरेकाहरूलाई तिनीहरूकै मूर्तिहरूका सामु म फाल्नेछु ।

5 and I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

इस्राएलका मानिसहरूका लाशहरूलाई तिनीहरूकै मूर्तिहरूका सामु म राखिदिनेछु, र तिमीहरूका हड्‍डीहरू तिमीहरूकै वेदीहरूका चारैतिर छरपष्‍ट पारिदिनेछु ।

6 In all your dwelling-places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

तिमीहरू जहाँ बसे तापनि तिमीहरूका नगरहरू उजाड पारिनेछन्, र अल्‍गा-अल्‍गा ठाउँहरू नष्‍ट हुनेछन्, ताकि तिमीहरूका वेदीहरू उजाड र नष्‍ट हुनेछन् । तब तिनीहरू चकनाचुर हुनेछन् र हराउनेछन्, तिमीहरूका खम्बाहरू काटिनेछन् र तिमीहरूका कामहरू लोप हुनेछन् ।

7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

मृतहरू तिमीहरूकै माझमा ढल्‍नेछन्, र म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्‍नेछौ ।

8 Yet will I leave a remnant, in that ye shall have some escaped from the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

तर तिमीहरूका बिचमा बचेकालाई म जोगाएर राख्‍नेछु, र तिमीहरू देश-देशमा तितरबितर हुँदा, त्‍यहाँ जातिहरूका बिचमा तरवारबाट उम्‍केका कोही हुनेछन् ।

9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they have been carried captives, when I shall have broken their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed, in all their abominations.

तब मबाट तर्केका तिनीहरूका व्‍यभिचारी हृदय र मूर्तिहरूका पछि लाग्‍ने तिनीहरूका कुदृष्‍टहरूले म दुःखित भएको थिएँ भनी ती बाँचेकाहरूले आफूलाई कैद गरिएका जातिहरूका बिचमा मेरो बारेमा विचार गर्नेछन् । तब तिनीहरूले गरेको दुष्‍टता र तिनीहरूका सबै घृणित कामहरूको कारण तिनीहरूले आफ्नो अनुहारमा घृणा देखाउनेछन् ।

10 And they shall know that I [am] Jehovah: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

यसरी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन्, कि म नै परमप्रभु हुँ । यही कारणले म तिनीहरूमाथि हानि ल्‍याउँछु भनी मैले भनें ।

11 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the abominations of the iniquities of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः “आफ्‍नो ताली बजा र आफ्‍ना खुट्टा बजार्! यसो भन् ‘इस्राएलका घरानाका सबै दुष्‍ट र घिनलाग्‍दा व्‍यवहारहरूका कारण, धिक्‍कार!’ किनभने तरवार, अनिकाल र रूढीले तिनीहरू नष्‍ट हुनेछन्‌ ।

12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is left, and is besieged, shall die by the famine: and I will accomplish my fury upon them.

टाढा हुने रूढीले मर्नेछन्, र नजिकमा हुने तरवारले ढल्‍नेछन् । छोडिएर बाँचेकाहरू अनिकालले मर्नेछन्‌ । यसरी तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा भएको मेरो क्रोधलाई म पुरा गर्नेछु!

13 And ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when their slain shall be among their idols, round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick terebinth, the places where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.

जब तिनीहरूका मूर्तिहरूका बिचमा, तिनीहरूका वेदीहरूका चारैतिर, सबै अल्‍गा-अल्‍गा ठाउँहरूमा, सबै पर्वतहरूका टाकुराहरूमाथि, सबै झ्‍याम्‍म परेका रूखहरूमुनि र सबै पात भएका बजराँटका रूखहरूमुनि— जहाँ-जहाँ तिनीहरूले आफ्‍ना मूर्तिहरूका निम्‍ति धूप बाल्‍थे, त्‍यहाँ-त्‍यहाँ जब तिनीहरूका मारिएकाहरू लडिरहनेछन्, तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन्‌ ।

14 And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness of Diblath, in all their dwellings; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

अनि म आफ्‍नो हातले हिर्काउनेछु र उजाड-स्‍थानदेखि दिब्‍लासम्‍मै तिनीहरूका सबै बस्‍ने ठाउँहरू अर्थात्‌ तिनीहरूको देशलाई उजाड र सुनसान बनाइदिनेछु । तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन् ।
