Esther 10

1 And king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land and the isles of the sea.

El rey Asuero impuso un tributo sobre la tierra y sobre las islas del mar.

2 And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

Todos los actos de autoridad y poder, así como la declaración de la grandeza de Mardoqueo, a quien el rey engrandeció, ¿no están escritos en el rollo de las crónicas de los reyes de Media y Persia?

3 For Mordecai the Jew was second to king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the welfare of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.

Porque el judío Mardoqueo llegó a ser el segundo del rey Asuero, grande entre los judíos y aceptado por la multitud de sus hermanos. Procuró el bienestar de su pueblo y habló paz a todo su linaje.
