Ephesians 6

1 Children, obey your parents in [the] Lord, for this is just.

HIJOS, obedeced en el Señor á vuestros padres, porque esto es justo.

2 Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise,

Honra á tu padre, y á tu madre, que es el primer mandamiento con promesa;

3 that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest be long-lived on the earth.

Para que te vaya bien, y seas de larga vida sobre la tierra.

4 And [ye] fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in [the] discipline and admonition of [the] Lord.

Y vosotros, Padres, no provoqueis á ira á vuestros hijos; sino criadlos en disciplina y amonestacion del Señor.

5 Bondmen, obey masters according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in simplicity of your heart as to the Christ;

Siervos, obedeced á [vuestros] amos segun la carne con temor y temblor, con sencillez de vuestro corazon, como á Cristo;

6 not with eye-service as men-pleasers; but as bondmen of Christ, doing the will of God from [the] soul,

No sirviendo al ojo, como los que agradan á los hombres; sino como siervos de Cristo haciendo de animo la voluntad de Dios;

7 serving with good will as to the Lord, and not to men;

Sirviendo con buena voluntad, como al Señor, y no á los hombres:

8 knowing that whatever good each shall do, this he shall receive of [the] Lord, whether bond or free.

Sabiendo que el bien que cada uno hiciere, esto recibirá del Señor, sea siervo, ó sea libre.

9 And, masters, do the same things towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that both their and your Master is in heaven, and there is no acceptance of persons with him.

Y vosotros, amos, haced á ellos lo mismo, dejando las amenazas; sabiendo que el Señor de ellos y vuestro esta en los cielos, y [que] no hay acepcion de personas con él.

10 For the rest, brethren, be strong in [the] Lord, and in the might of his strength.

Por lo demás, hermanos mios, confortáos en el Señor, y en la potencia de su fortaleza.

11 Put on the panoply of God, that ye may be able to stand against the artifices of the devil:

Vestíos de toda la armadura de Dios, para que podais estar firmes contra las asechanzas del diablo.

12 because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual [power] of wickedness in the heavenlies. (aiōn g165)

Porque no tenemos lucha contra sangre y carne; sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra señores del mundo, gobernadores de estas tinieblas, contra malicias espirituales en los aires. (aiōn g165)

13 For this reason take [to you] the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand.

Por tanto tomad toda la armadura de Dios, para que podais resistir en el dia malo, y estar firmes, habiendo acabado todo.

14 Stand therefore, having girt about your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Estad pues firmes, ceñidos vuestros lomos de verdad, y vestidos de la cota de justicia;

15 and shod your feet with [the] preparation of the glad tidings of peace:

Y calzados los piés con el apresto del Evangelio de paz;

16 besides all [these], having taken the shield of faith with which ye will be able to quench all the inflamed darts of the wicked one.

Sobre todo tomando el escudo de la fé, con que podais apagar todos los dardos de fuego del maligno.

17 Have also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God's word;

Y tomad el yelmo de salud, y la espada del Espíritu, que es la palabra de Dios:

18 praying at all seasons, with all prayer and supplication in [the] Spirit, and watching unto this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;

Orando en todo tiempo con toda deprecacion y súplica en el Espíritu, y velando en ello con toda instancia y suplicacion por todos los santos:

19 and for me in order that utterance may be given to me in [the] opening of my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the glad tidings,

Y por mí, para que me sea dada palabra en el abrir de mi boca con confianza, para hacer notorio el misterio del Evangelio,

20 for which I am an ambassador [bound] with a chain, that I may be bold in it as I ought to speak.

Por el cual soy embajador en cadenas; que resueltamente hable de él, como debo hablar.

21 But in order that ye also may know what concerns me, how I am getting on, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in [the] Lord, shall make all things known to you;

Mas para que tambien vosotros sepais mis negocios, y como lo paso, todo os lo hará saber Tichico, hermano amado, y fiel ministro en el Señor:

22 whom I have sent to you for this very thing, that ye may know of our affairs and that he may encourage your hearts.

Al cual os he enviado para esto mismo, para que entendais lo tocante á nosotros, y que consuele vuestros corazones.

23 Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.

Paz [sea] á los hermanos, y amor con fé, de Dios Padre, y del Señor Jesu-Cristo.

24 Grace with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in incorruption.

Gracia [sea] con todos los que aman á nuestro Señor Jesu-Cristo en sinceridad. Amen.
