Ephesians 3
1 For this reason I Paul, prisoner of the Christ Jesus for you nations,
Por isso eu, Paulo, [sou] prisioneiro de Cristo Jesus, para o benefício de vós, gentios.
2 (if indeed ye have heard of the administration of the grace of God which has been given to me towards you,
Se é que já ouvistes da responsabilidade acerca da graça de Deus, que me foi dada para vós;
3 that by revelation the mystery has been made known to me, (according as I have written before briefly,
que por revelação me foi dado a conhecer este mistério (conforme já [vos] escrevi um pouco;
4 by which, in reading it, ye can understand my intelligence in the mystery of the Christ, )
quando o ledes, podeis entender o meu entendimento deste mistério de Cristo).
5 which in other generations has not been made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in [the power of the] Spirit,
Esse mistério em outras gerações não foi dado a conhecer aos seres humanos, como agora foi revelado pelo Espírito aos seus santos apóstolos e profetas:
6 that [they who are of] the nations should be joint heirs, and a joint body, and joint partakers of [his] promise in Christ Jesus by the glad tidings;
[isto é, ] que os gentios são conjuntamente herdeiros, [membros] de um mesmo corpo, e participantes da promessa em Cristo Jesus por meio do evangelho.
7 of which I am become minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of his power.
Eu fui feito servidor desse [evangelho] conforme o dom da graça de Deus, que me foi dada segundo a operação do seu poder.
8 To me, less than the least of all saints, has this grace been given, to announce among the nations the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of the Christ,
A mim, o menor de todos os santos, foi dada esta graça de anunciar aos gentios, por meio do Evangelho, as inimagináveis riquezas de Cristo,
9 and to enlighten all [with the knowledge of] what is the administration of the mystery hidden throughout the ages in God, who has created all things, (aiōn g165)
E para esclarecer qual é a administração do mistério que desde as eras passadas esteve oculto em Deus, que criou todas as coisas, (aiōn g165)
10 in order that now to the principalities and authorities in the heavenlies might be made known through the assembly the all-various wisdom of God,
para que a multiforme sabedoria de Deus seja agora manifestada pela igreja aos domínios e autoridades nos lugares celestes,
conforme o eterno propósito que ele cumpriu em Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor, (aiōn g165)
12 in whom we have boldness and access in confidence by the faith of him.
no qual temos coragem e acesso confiante pela fé nele.
13 Wherefore I beseech [you] not to faint through my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
Portanto, eu [vos] peço que não vos desanimeis em minhas aflições por vós. Elas são a vossa glória.
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ],
Por causa disso me ponho de joelhos diante do Pai;
15 of whom every family in [the] heavens and on earth is named,
do qual toda a família nos céus e na terra recebe nome.
16 in order that he may give you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power by his Spirit in the inner man;
[Oro] para que, conforme a sua riquíssima glória, ele vos conceda que sejais fortalecidos com poder pelo seu Espírito no interior de cada um,
17 that the Christ may dwell, through faith, in your hearts, being rooted and founded in love,
para que Cristo habite em vossos corações pela fé. [Oro] para que vós estejais enraizados e firmados no amor,
18 in order that ye may be fully able to apprehend with all the saints what [is] the breadth and length and depth and height;
e assim possais compreender, com todos os santos, qual é a largura, comprimento, profundidade, e altura,
19 and to know the love of the Christ which surpasses knowledge; that ye may be filled [even] to all the fulness of God.
e conhecer o amor de Cristo, que excede o entendimento, para que sejais cheios de toda a plenitude de Deus.
20 But to him that is able to do far exceedingly above all which we ask or think, according to the power which works in us,
E quanto àquele que é poderoso para fazer tudo muito mais abundantemente do que pedimos ou pensamos, segundo o poder que opera em nós,
