Acts 3
1 And Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [which is] the ninth [hour];
Petrus aber und Johannes stiegen hinauf in den Tempel zur Gebetsstunde, der neunten.
2 and a certain man who was lame from his mother's womb was being carried, whom they placed every day at the gate of the temple called Beautiful, to ask alms of those who were going into the temple;
Und es wurde eben ein von Mutterleib an lahmer Mann herbeigetragen, den man täglich an das sogenannte schöne Thor des Tempels setzte, um Almosen von den Besuchern des Tempels zu erbetteln.
3 who, seeing Peter and John about to enter into the temple, asked to receive alms.
Als derselbe Petrus und Johannes sah, wie sie in den Tempel eintreten wollten, bat er sie um ein Almosen.
4 And Peter, looking stedfastly upon him with John, said, Look on us.
Petrus aber mit Johannes blickte ihn an und sagte: siehe her zu uns.
5 And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them.
Er aber spannte auf sie, in der Erwartung etwas von ihnen zu bekommen.
6 But Peter said, Silver and gold I have not; but what I have, this give I to thee: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazaraean rise up and walk.
Petrus aber sprach: Silber und Gold habe ich nicht, was ich aber habe, das gebe ich dir: im Namen Jesus Christus, des Nazoräers: wandle.
7 And having taken hold of him [by] the right hand he raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones were made strong.
Und er faßte ihn an der rechten Hand und richtete ihn auf; alsbald aber wurden seine Sohlen und Knöchel fest,
8 And leaping up he stood and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
und er sprang auf und stand, und wandelte, und trat mit ihnen in den Tempel, gieng herum und sprang, und lobte Gott.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God;
Und das ganze Volk sah ihn herumgehen und Gott loben.
10 and they recognised him, that it was he who sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Sie erkannten ihn aber als den, der zum Almosen gesessen am schönen Thor des Tempels, und wurden voll Staunens und Begeisterung über dem, was mit ihm vorgegangen.
11 And as he held Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the portico which is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.
Während er aber den Petrus und den Johannes festhielt, strömte das ganze Volk außer sich bei ihnen zusammen, in der sogenannten Halle Salomos.
12 And Peter, seeing it, answered the people, Men of Israel, why are ye astonished at this? or why do ye gaze on us as if we had by our own power or piety made him to walk?
Da es aber Petrus sah, redete er das Volk an: Ihr israelitische Männer, was wundert ihr euch über diesem, oder was sehet ihr uns an, als hätten wir durch eigene Kraft und Frömmigkeit bewirkt, daß er wandelt?
13 The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus, whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he had judged that he should be let go.
Der Gott Abrahams und Gott Isaaks und Gott Jakobs, der Gott unserer Väter hat seinen Knecht Jesus verherrlicht, den ihr ausgeliefert und verleugnet habt vor Pilatus, da dieser beschlossen hatte ihn loszulassen,
14 But ye denied the holy and righteous one, and asked that a man [that was] a murderer should be granted to you;
ihr aber habt den Heiligen und Gerechten verleugnet, und euch einen Mörder freigebeten.
15 but the originator of life ye slew, whom God raised from among [the] dead, whereof we are witnesses.
Den Anführer des Lebens aber habt ihr getötet, den Gott von den Toten auferweckt hat, wovon wir Zeugen sind.
16 And, by faith in his name, his name has made this [man] strong whom ye behold and know; and the faith which is by him has given him this complete soundness in the presence of you all.
Und auf den Glauben an seinen Namen hat diesen hier, den ihr seht und kennt, sein Name fest gemacht, und der Glaube der durch ihn geht, hat demselben diese seine gesunden Glieder wieder geschenkt, vor euch allen.
17 And now, brethren, I know that ye did it in ignorance, as also your rulers;
Und nun Brüder, ich weiß, daß ihr es in Unwissenheit gethan, sowie auch eure Oberen.
18 but God has thus fulfilled what he had announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer.
Gott aber hat also erfüllt, was er voraus verkündet hatte durch aller Propheten Mund: daß sein Christus leiden solle.
19 Repent therefore and be converted, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from [the] presence of the Lord,
So thut denn Buße und bekehrt euch, daß eure Sünden ausgelöscht werden,
20 and he may send Jesus Christ, who was foreordained for you,
auf daß da kommen Zeiten der Erquickung vom Angesicht des Herrn, und er absende den für euch zuvor bestellten Christus Jesus,
21 whom heaven indeed must receive till [the] times of [the] restoring of all things, of which God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets since time began. (aiōn g165)
welchen der Himmel aufnehmen muß bis zu den Zeiten da alles hereingebracht wird, was Gott geredet hat durch den Mund seiner heiligen Propheten von jeher. (aiōn g165)
22 Moses indeed said, A prophet shall [the] Lord your God raise up to you out of your brethren like me: him shall ye hear in everything whatsoever he shall say to you.
Moses hat gesagt: Einen Propheten wird euch der Herr Gott erwecken aus euren Brüdern wie mich; auf ihn sollt ihr hören in Allem, was er zu euch redet.
23 And it shall be that whatsoever soul shall not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from among the people.
Es soll aber geschehen, daß jede Seele, die nicht auf jenen Propheten hört, wird ausgetilgt werden aus dem Volk.
24 And indeed all the prophets from Samuel and those in succession after [him], as many as have spoken, have announced also these days.
Und alle die Propheten von Samuel an und in den folgenden Zeiten, so viel ihrer geredet, haben auch diese Tage verkündet.
25 Ye are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God appointed to our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Ihr seid die Söhne der Propheten und des Bundes, welchen Gott mit unseren Vätern schloß, da er zu Abraham sagte: Und in deinem Samen sollen alle Geschlechter der Erde gesegnet werden.
26 To you first God, having raised up his servant, has sent him, blessing you in turning each one [of you] from your wickedness.
Euch zuerst hat Gott seinen Knecht aufgestellt, und abgesandt euch zu segnen durch Bekehrung eines jeden von euren Bosheiten.
