2 Timothy 4
1 I testify before God and Christ Jesus, who is about to judge living and dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom,

2 proclaim the word; be urgent in season [and] out of season, convict, rebuke, encourage, with all longsuffering and doctrine.
prega a palavra; insiste em tempo e fora de tempo; mostra os erros; repreende [e] exorta, com toda paciência e ensino.
3 For the time shall be when they will not bear sound teaching; but according to their own lusts will heap up to themselves teachers, having an itching ear;
Pois virá tempo em que não suportarão a sã doutrina; em vez disso, terão comichão no ouvido e amontoarão para si instrutores conforme os seus próprios desejos maus;
4 and they will turn away their ear from the truth, and will have turned aside to fables.
desviarão os ouvidos da verdade, e se voltarão aos mitos.
5 But thou, be sober in all things, bear evils, do [the] work of an evangelist, fill up the full measure of thy ministry.
Tu, porém, vigia-te em todas as coisas; suporta as aflições, faz a obra de evangelista, cumpre o teu serviço.
6 For I am already being poured out, and the time of my release is come.
Pois já sou uma oferta de derramamento, e o tempo da minha partida está perto.
7 I have combated the good combat, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Lutei a boa luta, terminei a carreira, guardei a fé.
8 Henceforth the crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will render to me in that day; but not only to me, but also to all who love his appearing.
Desde agora a coroa da justiça me está reservada, a qual o Senhor, o justo Juiz, me dará naquele dia; e não somente a mim, mas também a todos os que amarem a sua vinda.
9 Use diligence to come to me quickly;
Procura vir logo até mim,
10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved the present age, and is gone to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
porque Demas me desamparou: ele amou o tempo presente, e partiu para Tessalônica; Crescente para a Galácia, e Tito para a Dalmácia. (aiōn g165)
11 Luke alone is with me. Take Mark, and bring [him] with thyself, for he is serviceable to me for ministry.
Só Lucas está comigo. Toma Marcos, e o traz contigo, porque ele me é muito útil para o serviço.
12 But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.
Enviei Tíquico a Éfeso.
13 The cloak which I left behind [me] in Troas at Carpus's, bring when thou comest, and the books, especially the parchments.
Quando vieres, traz a capa que deixei em Trôade na casa de Carpo, e os livros, principalmente os pergaminhos.
14 Alexander the smith did many evil things against me. The Lord will render to him according to his works.
Alexandre, o que trabalha com cobre, me causou muitos males; o Senhor retribuirá a ele conforme suas obras.
15 Against whom be thou also on thy guard, for he has greatly withstood our words.
Toma cuidado com ele também, porque ele se opôs muito às nossas palavras.
16 At my first defence no man stood with me, but all deserted me. May it not be imputed to them.
Na minha primeira defesa ninguém esteve comigo para me ajudar, pelo contrário, todos me desampararam. Que isso não seja levado em consideração contra eles.
17 But the Lord stood with [me], and gave me power, that through me the proclamation might be fully made, and all [those of] the nations should hear; and I was delivered out of the lion's mouth.
Mas o Senhor me ajudou e me fortaleceu, a fim de que por mim a pregação fosse completamente divulgada, e todos os gentios [a] ouvissem; e fui livrado da boca do leão.
18 The Lord shall deliver me from every wicked work, and shall preserve [me] for his heavenly kingdom; to whom [be] glory for the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
O Senhor me livrará de toda obra má, e me preservará para o seu reino celestial. A ele [seja] glória para todo o sempre. Amém. (aiōn g165)

20 Erastus remained in Corinth, but Trophimus I left behind in Miletus sick.

21 Use diligence to come before winter. Eubulus salutes thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and the brethren all.

22 The Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit. Grace [be] with you.
O Senhor seja com o teu espírito. A graça seja convosco.
