2 Corinthians 11
1 Would that ye would bear with me [in] a little folly; but indeed bear with me.
Wollte Gott, ihr hieltet mir ein wenig Torheit zugut! Doch ihr haltet mir's wohl zugut.
2 For I am jealous as to you with a jealousy [which is] of God; for I have espoused you unto one man, to present [you] a chaste virgin to Christ.
Denn ich eifere um euch mit göttlichem Eifer. Denn ich habe euch vertrauet einem Manne, daß ich eine reine Jungfrau Christo zubrächte
3 But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craft, [so] your thoughts should be corrupted from simplicity as to the Christ.
Ich fürchte aber, daß nicht, wie die Schlange Eva verführete mit ihrer Schalkheit, also auch eure Sinne verrücket werden von der Einfältigkeit in Christo.
4 For if indeed he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or ye get a different Spirit, which ye have not got, or a different glad tidings, which ye have not received, ye might well bear with [it].
Denn so, der da zu euch kommt, einen andern Jesum predigte, den wir nicht geprediget haben, oder ihr einen andern Geist empfinget, den ihr nicht empfangen habt, oder ein ander Evangelium, das ihr nicht angenommen habt, so vertrüget ihr's
5 For I reckon that in nothing I am behind those who are in surpassing degree apostles.
Denn ich achte, ich sei nicht weniger, denn die hohen Apostel sind.
6 But if [I am] a simple person in speech, yet not in knowledge, but in everything making [the truth] manifest in all things to you.
Und ob ich albern bin mit Reden, so bin ich doch nicht albern in der Erkenntnis. Doch, ich bin bei euch allenthalben wohlbekannt.
7 Have I committed sin, abasing myself in order that ye might be exalted, because I gratuitously announced to you the glad tidings of God?
Oder habe ich gesündiget, daß ich mich erniedriget habe, auf daß ihr erhöhet würdet? Denn ich habe euch das Evangelium umsonst verkündigt
8 I spoiled other assemblies, receiving hire for ministry towards you.
und habe andere Gemeinden beraubet und Sold von ihnen genommen, daß ich euch predigte.
9 And being present with you and lacking, I did not lazily burden any one, (for the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied what I lacked, ) and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will keep myself.
Und da ich bei euch war gegenwärtig und Mangel hatte, war ich niemand beschwerlich (denn meinen Mangel erstatteten die Brüder, die aus Mazedonien kamen); und habe mich in allen Stücken euch unbeschwerlich gehalten und will auch noch mich also halten.
10 [The] truth of Christ is in me that this boasting shall not be stopped as to me in the regions of Achaia.
So gewiß die Wahrheit Christi in mir ist, so soll mir dieser Ruhm in den Ländern Achajas nicht gestopfet werden.
11 Why? because I do not love you? God knows.
Warum das? Daß ich euch nicht sollte liebhaben? Gott weiß es.
12 But what I do, I will also do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those wishing [for] an opportunity, that wherein they boast they may be found even as we.
Was ich aber tue und tun will, das tue ich darum, daß ich die Ursache abhaue denen, die Ursache suchen, daß sie rühmen möchten, sie seien wie wir.
13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
Denn solche falsche Apostel und trügliche Arbeiter verstellen sich zu Christi Aposteln.
14 And [it is] not wonderful, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
Und das ist auch kein Wunder; denn er selbst, der Satan, verstellet sich zum Engel des Lichts.
15 It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Darum ist es nicht ein Großes, ob sich auch seine Diener verstellen als Prediger der Gerechtigkeit; welcher Ende sein wird nach ihren Werken.
16 Again I say, Let not any one think me to be a fool; but if otherwise, receive me then even as a fool, that I also may boast myself some little.
Ich sage abermal, daß nicht jemand wähne, ich sei töricht; wo aber nicht, so nehmet mich an als einen Törichten, daß ich mich auch ein wenig rühme.
17 What I speak I do not speak according to [the] Lord, but as in folly, in this confidence of boasting.
Was ich jetzt rede, das rede ich nicht als im HERRN, sondern als in der Torheit, dieweil wir in das Rühmen kommen sind.
18 Since many boast according to flesh, I also will boast.
Sintemal viele sich rühmen nach dem Fleisch, will ich mich auch rühmen.
19 For ye bear fools readily, being wise.
Denn ihr vertraget gerne die Narren, dieweil ihr klug seid.
20 For ye bear if any one bring you into bondage, if any one devour [you], if any one get [your money], if any one exalt himself, if any one beat you on the face.
Ihr vertraget, so euch jemand zu Knechten macht, so euch jemand schindet, so euch jemand nimmt, so jemand euch trotzet, so euch jemand in das Angesicht streicht.
21 I speak as to dishonour, as though we had been weak; but wherein any one is daring, (I speak in folly, ) I also am daring.
Das sage ich nach der Unehre, als wären wir schwach worden. Worauf nun jemand kühn ist (ich rede in Torheit), darauf bin ich auch kühn.
22 Are they Hebrews? I also. Are they Israelites? I also. Are they seed of Abraham? I also.
Sie sind Hebräer, ich auch. Sie sind Israeliter, ich auch. Sie sind Abrahams Same, ich auch.
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as being beside myself) I above measure [so]; in labours exceedingly abundant, in stripes to excess, in prisons exceedingly abundant, in deaths oft.
Sie sind Diener Christi; (ich rede töricht) ich bin wohl mehr. Ich habe mehr gearbeitet, ich habe mehr Schläge erlitten, ich bin öfter gefangen, oft in Todesnöten gewesen.
24 From the Jews five times have I received forty [stripes], save one.
Von den Juden habe ich fünfmal empfangen vierzig Streiche weniger eines.
25 Thrice have I been scourged, once I have been stoned, three times I have suffered shipwreck, a night and day I passed in the deep:
Ich bin dreimal gestäupet, einmal gesteiniget, dreimal habe ich Schiffbruch erlitten, Tag und Nacht habe ich zugebracht in der Tiefe (des Meers).
26 in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from [my own] race, in perils from [the] nations, in perils in [the] city, in perils in [the] desert, in perils on [the] sea, in perils among false brethren;
Ich bin oft gereiset; ich bin in Gefahr gewesen zu Wasser, in Gefahr unter den Mördern, in Gefahr unter den Juden, in Gefahr unter den Heiden, in Gefahr in den Städten, in Gefahr in der Wüste, in Gefahr auf dem Meer, in Gefahr unter den falschen Brüdern,
27 in labour and toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
in Mühe und Arbeit, in viel Wachen, in Hunger und Durst, in viel Fasten, in Frost und Blöße,
28 Besides those things that are without, the crowd [of cares] pressing on me daily, the burden of all the assemblies.
ohne was sich sonst zuträgt, nämlich daß ich täglich werde angelaufen und trage Sorge für alle Gemeinden.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is stumbled, and I burn not?
Wer ist schwach, und ich werde nicht schwach? Wer wird geärgert, und ich brenne nicht?
30 If it is needful to boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity.
So ich mich je rühmen soll, will ich mich meiner Schwachheit rühmen.
31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus knows — he who is blessed for ever — that I do not lie. (aiōn g165)
Gott und der Vater unsers HERRN Jesu Christi, welcher sei gelobet in Ewigkeit, weiß, daß ich nicht lüge. (aiōn g165)
32 In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes shut up, wishing to take me;
Zu Damaskus, der Landpfleger des Königs Aretas verwahrete die Stadt der Damasker und wollte mich greifen;
33 and through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
und ich ward einem Korbe zum Fenster aus durch die Mauer niedergelassen und entrann aus seinen Händen.
