< 2 Corinthians 11 >

1 Would that ye would bear with me [in] a little folly; but indeed bear with me.
Kam thuhaih to nawnetta thung nang pauep pae o thai hanah ka koeh: pauep doeh nang pauep pae o boeh.
2 For I am jealous as to you with a jealousy [which is] of God; for I have espoused you unto one man, to present [you] a chaste virgin to Christ.
Kacuem nongpata maeto ka hamh baktiah, Kri ah kang hamh o boeh pongah, nangcae to Sithaw uthaih palungthin hoiah kang khet o.
3 But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craft, [so] your thoughts should be corrupted from simplicity as to the Christ.
Toe pahui mah athlaeng koehhaih palung hoiah Evi to aling baktih toengah, na poek o haih to amro ving ueloe, Kri poekciimhaih anghmaa moeng tih, tiah zithaih ka tawnh.
4 For if indeed he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or ye get a different Spirit, which ye have not got, or a different glad tidings, which ye have not received, ye might well bear with [it].
Kami maeto mah nangcae khaeah kang thui o vai ai ih kalah Jesu kawng to thuih naah, na talawk o vai ai ih kalah muithla to na talawk o moe, na talawk o vai ai ih kahoih tamthanglok doeh na talawk o nahaeloe, nangcae loe kalah tamthanglok, kalah Jesu hoi kalah muithla tapom kami ah ni na oh o.
5 For I reckon that in nothing I am behind those who are in surpassing degree apostles.
Kai loe kalen koek patoeh ih kaminawk pongah ahnaem kue, tiah ka poek ai.
6 But if [I am] a simple person in speech, yet not in knowledge, but in everything making [the truth] manifest in all things to you.
Kai loe lok kanaem apae thai ai, toe panoekhaih tawn ai kami na ai ni; nangcae khaeah hmuen boih kam tueng o sak boeh.
7 Have I committed sin, abasing myself in order that ye might be exalted, because I gratuitously announced to you the glad tidings of God?
Nangcae pakoeh ah oh thai hanah, kaimah hoi kaimah kahnaem ah kho ka sak moe, kahoih Sithaw tamthanglok to azom ah kang thuih o pongah, zaehaih ka tawnh maw?
8 I spoiled other assemblies, receiving hire for ministry towards you.
Nangcae khaeah tok ka sak thai hanah, kalah kricaabunawk abomhaih to ka talawk.
9 And being present with you and lacking, I did not lazily burden any one, (for the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied what I lacked, ) and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will keep myself.
Nangcae khaeah ka oh moe, angaihaih ka tawnh naah, mi kawbaktih doeh raihaih ka paek ai: Macedonia prae hoi angzo nawkamyanawk mah ni kang toenghaih to ang paek o: kalaem tangcae atue ah hmuen boih ah raihaih kang paek o ai baktih toengah, hmabang atue ah doeh to tiah ni ka oh poe han.
10 [The] truth of Christ is in me that this boasting shall not be stopped as to me in the regions of Achaia.
Loktang Kri to ka thungah oh pongah, Akaia prae thung ih mi kawbaktih mah doeh kam oekhaih hae pakaa thai mak ai.
11 Why? because I do not love you? God knows.
Tipongah? Nangcae kang palung o ai pongah maw? Sithaw mah panoek.
12 But what I do, I will also do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those wishing [for] an opportunity, that wherein they boast they may be found even as we.
Kaicae doeh kamoek nihcae baktiah ni tok ka sak o toeng, tiah nihcae mah thuih o thai han ai ah, ka sak ih tok baktiah ni ka sak poe han.
13 For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
To kaminawk loe angsahcop patoeh ih kami, minawk aling thaih toksah kami, Kri mah patoeh ih kami baktiah angmacae hoi angmacae angsahcop kaminawk ni.
14 And [it is] not wonderful, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
Dawnrai han om ai; Setan angmah mataeng doeh aanghaih van kami baktiah angsak toeng to loe!
15 It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
To pongah Setan toksah kaminawk mah toenghaih toksah kami baktiah angsak o naah dawnrai han om ai; hnukkhuem ah nihcae loe a sak o ih tok baktih toengah atho to hnu o tih.
16 Again I say, Let not any one think me to be a fool; but if otherwise, receive me then even as a fool, that I also may boast myself some little.
Ka thuih let bae, mi mah doeh kai hae kamthu ah poek hmah nasoe; kamthu ah nang poek o nahaeloe, kamthu baktiah zetta kam oek han vop.
17 What I speak I do not speak according to [the] Lord, but as in folly, in this confidence of boasting.
Amoekhaih lok ka thuih naah, Angraeng ih lok baktiah ka thui ai, amthu baktiah ni ka thuih.
18 Since many boast according to flesh, I also will boast.
Paroeai kaminawk mah long taksa ah amoek o baktih toengah, kai doeh kam oek toeng han vop.
19 For ye bear fools readily, being wise.
Nangcae loe palung na ha o pongah, amthu kaminawk nuiah pauephaih na tawnh o.
20 For ye bear if any one bring you into bondage, if any one devour [you], if any one get [your money], if any one exalt himself, if any one beat you on the face.
Nangcae tamna ah suem kami, nangcae zaw kami, nangcae ih hmuen lomh kami, amoek kami, mikhmai ah tabaeng kaminawk nuiah mataeng doeh pauephaih na tawnh o.
21 I speak as to dishonour, as though we had been weak; but wherein any one is daring, (I speak in folly, ) I also am daring.
Kaicae loe to tiah ka pauep o thai ai, tiah kasae thuihaih oh pongah, to baktih hmuen ah loe tha ka zok o, azat doeh thoh parai. Toe mi kawbaktih mah doeh amoekhaih lok to thui nahaeloe (kamthu baktiah ni ka thuih, ) kai doeh kam oek thai toengh.
22 Are they Hebrews? I also. Are they Israelites? I also. Are they seed of Abraham? I also.
Nihcae loe Hebru kami ah maw oh o? Kai doeh Hebru kami toeng ni. Nihcae loe Israel kami ah maw oh o? Kai doeh Israel kami toeng ni. Nihcae loe Abraham ih acaeng ah maw oh o? Kai doeh Abraham ih acaeng toeng ni.
23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as being beside myself) I above measure [so]; in labours exceedingly abundant, in stripes to excess, in prisons exceedingly abundant, in deaths oft.
Nihcae loe Kri toksah kami ah maw oh o? (kamthu baktiah ka thuih) nihcae pongah tok ka sak kue; nihcae pong kamthlai ah toksah kami, paroeai bohhaih tongh kami, vaihi hoi vaihi thong krah kami, duek han khoek to raihaih tongh kami ah ka oh.
24 From the Jews five times have I received forty [stripes], save one.
Judahnawk mah vai pangato ang boh o, quipalito akoep hanah vaito khue ni boh han angai boeh.
25 Thrice have I been scourged, once I have been stoned, three times I have suffered shipwreck, a night and day I passed in the deep:
Thingboeng hoiah vai thumto ang boh o, thlung hoiah vaito ang vah o, tuipui thungah palong mah vai thumto ang palet, tuipui thungah nito pacoeng, qumto ka oh.
26 in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from [my own] race, in perils from [the] nations, in perils in [the] city, in perils in [the] desert, in perils on [the] sea, in perils among false brethren;
Kholong ka caehhaih pop pongah, vapui angkat thai ai raihaih, mingcahnawk mah paek ih raihaih, kaimah ih kaminawk mah paek ih raihaih, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk mah paek ih raihaih, vangpui thungah ka tong ih raihaih, praezaek ah ka tong ih raihaih, tuipui ah ka tong ih raihaih, nawkamya ah angsah kaminawk mah paek ih raihaihnawk to vaihi hoi vaihi ka tong.
27 in labour and toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
Tha kana angpho qawt hoiah tok ka sak moe, vaihi hoi vaihi iip thai ai ah ohhaih, zok kamthlam tui kanghae ah ohhaih, buhcaa ai ah ohhaih, siktue naah bangkrai ah ohhaihnawk to ka tongh.
28 Besides those things that are without, the crowd [of cares] pressing on me daily, the burden of all the assemblies.
To baktih hmuennawk ka tongh pacoengah doeh, kricaabunawk boih to ka mawnhhaih pongah, ni thokkruek hmuen kazit mah ang taeh.
29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is stumbled, and I burn not?
Minawk thazok o naah, kai loe thazok ai kami ah maw ka oh? Minawk zaehaih thungah amtimh o naah, palung ka phui ai maw?
30 If it is needful to boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity.
Kam oek han angaih nahaeloe, ka thazokhaih hmuen ah ni kam oek han.
31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus knows — he who is blessed for ever — that I do not lie. (aiōn g165)
Lok kam lai ai, tito dungzan tahamhoihaih, aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri ih Ampa, Sithaw mah panoek. (aiōn g165)
32 In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes shut up, wishing to take me;
Siangpahrang Areta ukhaih thungah kaom, Damaska vangpui ukkung mah, kai naeh hanah Damaska vangpui to toepsak naah;
33 and through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
kai loe benthang thungah ang pacaeng o, thokbuem hoiah ang pakhrak o moe, vangpui pakaahaih tapang hoiah ang humh o sak, to naah ni anih ban thung hoiah ka loih vop.
