< 1 Thessalonians 5 >

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that ye should be written to,
Etiya, bhai khan, utu din aru somoi laga kotha apnikhan janibole dorkar nai.
2 for ye know perfectly well yourselves, that the day of [the] Lord so comes as a thief by night.
Aru apnikhan nijor bhal pora jani ase Probhu wapas aha laga din to najana homoi te chor manu rati te aha nisena hobo.
3 When they may say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon her that is with child; and they shall in no wise escape.
Jitia taikhan koi, “Shanti aru surakhsa,” titia achanak pora taikhan uporte dukh aru nosto ahibo. Aru ekjon maiki bacha pabole dukh pa nisena hobo. Aru kun bhi polabo na paribo.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief:
Kintu bhai, apnikhan andhar te thaka nohoi, aru Tai aha laga din to apuni khan ke chor ahikena asurit kori diya nisena nohobo.
5 for all ye are sons of light and sons of day; we are not of night nor of darkness.
Kilekoile apuni khan sob ujala aru din laga bacha khan ase. Amikhan rati aru andhar te thaka bacha khan nohoi.
6 So then do not let us sleep as the rest do, but let us watch and be sober;
Etu nimite, amikhan dusra khan nisena ghumai nathakibo. Ulta, nisa nakori kene amikhan sai-rukhi thakibo.
7 for they that sleep sleep by night, and they that drink drink by night;
Kilekoile, kun ghumai, taikhan rati te he ghumai, aru jun nisa hoi, taikhan bhi rati te nisa hoi.
8 but we being of [the] day, let us be sober, putting on [the] breastplate of faith and love, and as helmet [the] hope of salvation;
Kintu amikhan din laga manu ase, amikhan nisa nohoi kene biswas aru morom to chati laga loha nisena lagabo lage, aru poritran laga asha to loha tupi nisena lagabo lage.
9 because God has not set us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Kilekoile, Isor to Tai laga khong karone amikhan ke basi luwa nohoi, kintu amikhan laga Probhu Jisu Khrista dwara poritran pabo nimite rakhise.
10 who has died for us, that whether we may be watching or sleep, we may live together with him.
Khrista amikhan sob nimite morise, titia amikhan uthi kene thakilebi nohoile ghumai kene thakilebi, amikhan tai logote mili kene thakibo lage.
11 Wherefore encourage one another, and build up each one the other, even as also ye do.
Etu nimite ekjon-ekjon laga mon aram aru uthai di thakibi, jineka apnikhan kori thakise eneka he kori thakibi.
12 But we beg you, brethren, to know those who labour among you, and take the lead among you in [the] Lord, and admonish you,
Kintu apnikhan ke hudi ase, bhai khan, jun khan pora apnikhan majot thaki kene Probhu laga kaam kori ase, aru apuni khan ke bujhai thake, taikhan ke bhal pora sabi.
13 and to regard them exceedingly in love on account of their work. Be in peace among yourselves.
Taikhan laga kaam karone taikhan ke bisi sonman dibi koi kene amikhan mangi ase. Apnikhan mili kene thakibi.
14 But we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, comfort the faint-hearted, sustain the weak, be patient towards all.
Kintu apnikhan laga mon uthai dikene koi ase, bhai khan: kotha-namana khan ke hoshiar kori dibi, mon biya hoi kene thaka khan ke mon dangor kori dibi, komjur khan ke modot koribi aru sob logote dhorjo thakibi.
15 See that no one render to any evil for evil, but pursue always what is good towards one another and towards all;
Sabi, ta te kunbi kunba manu ke biya kaam nimite biya wapas dibole nadibi, kintu hodai, juntu bhal ase etu he koribi, nijor nimite bhi aru sob nimite bhi.
16 rejoice always;
Hodai khushi thakibi.
17 pray unceasingly;
Prathana to narukhi kene kori thakibi.
18 in everything give thanks, for this is [the] will of God in Christ Jesus towards you;
Sob te Isor ke hodai dhanyavad dibi. Kilekoile apnikhan nimite Khrista Jisu bhitor te etu Isor laga itcha ase.
19 quench not the Spirit;
Pobitro Atma ke bondh na koribi.
20 do not lightly esteem prophecies;
Bhabobani khan ninda na koribi.
21 but prove all things, hold fast the right;
Sob saman ke bhal pora bujhi bhi. Ki bhal ase etu dhuri kene thakibi.
22 hold aloof from every form of wickedness.
Sob biya kaam pora dur te thakibi.
23 Now the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly: and your whole spirit, and soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Shanti laga Isor tai nijor pora apnikhan ke pura pobitro koribo dibi. Probhu Jisu Khrista wapas naha tak apnikhan laga atma, jibon aru pura gaw galti nathaki kene rukhibo dibi.
24 He [is] faithful who calls you, who will also perform [it].
Hosa te thaka Isor ase jun apuni ke matise, aru Tai pora he etu bhi kori dibo.
25 Brethren, pray for us.
Bhai khan, amikhan karone bhi prathana kori dibi.
26 Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
Sob bhai khan ke ekta pobitro chuma pora salam koribi.
27 I adjure you by the Lord that the letter be read to all the [holy] brethren.
Moi apuni khan ke Probhu laga naam te koi ase etu chithi sob biswasi bhai kokai khan ke porhayi dibi.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you.
Amikhan laga Probhu Jisu Khrista laga anugrah apnikhan logote thakibo dibi.
