1 Thessalonians 5

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that ye should be written to,

पर हे भाऊवों अऊर बहिनों, येकी जरूरत नहाय कि समयो अऊर कालो को बारे म तुम्हरो जवर कुछ लिख्यो जाये।

2 for ye know perfectly well yourselves, that the day of [the] Lord so comes as a thief by night.

कहालीकि तुम खुद ठीक जानय हय कि जसो रात ख चोर आवय हय, वसोच प्रभु को दिन आवन वालो हय।

3 When they may say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon her that is with child; and they shall in no wise escape.

जब लोग कहत होना, “शान्त अऊर सुरक्षित हय, अऊर कुछ डर नहाय,” त उन पर अचानक नाश आय पड़ेंन, जो तरह गर्भवती पर दु: ख तकलीफ; अऊर हि कोयी रीति सी नहीं बचेंन।

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief:

पर हे भाऊवों अऊर बहिनों, तुम त अन्धारो म नहाय कि ऊ दिन तुम पर चोर जसो आवय हय वसो अचानक आयेंन।

5 for all ye are sons of light and sons of day; we are not of night nor of darkness.

कहालीकि तुम सब प्रकाश को लोग अऊर दिन को लोग आय; हम नहीं रात को आय, नहीं अन्धारो को आय।

6 So then do not let us sleep as the rest do, but let us watch and be sober;

येकोलायी हम दूसरों को जसो सोतो नहीं रहे, पर जागतो अऊर सावधान रहे।

7 for they that sleep sleep by night, and they that drink drink by night;

कहालीकि जो सोवय हंय हि रातच ख सोवय हंय, कहालीकि जो सोवय हंय नशा म चुर होवय हंय।

8 but we being of [the] day, let us be sober, putting on [the] breastplate of faith and love, and as helmet [the] hope of salvation;

पर हम जो दिन को आय, विश्वास अऊर प्रेम को झिलम पहिन क अऊर उद्धार को आशा को टोपी पहिन क सावधान रहो।

9 because God has not set us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

कहालीकि परमेश्वर न हम्ख गुस्सा को लायी नहीं, पर येकोलायी चुन्यो हय कि हम अपनो प्रभु यीशु मसीह को द्वारा उद्धार प्राप्त करे।

10 who has died for us, that whether we may be watching or sleep, we may live together with him.

यीशु हमरो लायी यो वजह मरयो कि हम चाहे जागतो हो चाहे मरयो हो, सब मिल क ओकोच संग जीये।

11 Wherefore encourage one another, and build up each one the other, even as also ye do.

यो वजह एक दूसरों ख प्रोत्साहन देवो अऊर एक दूसरों की मदत को कारण बनो, जसो कि तुम करय भी हय।

12 But we beg you, brethren, to know those who labour among you, and take the lead among you in [the] Lord, and admonish you,

हे भाऊवों अऊर बहिनों, हम तुम सी बिनती करजे हंय कि जो तुम म मेहनत करय हंय, अऊर प्रभु म तुम्हरो अगुवा हंय, अऊर तुम्ख शिक्षा देवय हंय, उन्को सम्मान करो।

13 and to regard them exceedingly in love on account of their work. Be in peace among yourselves.

अऊर उन्को काम को वजह प्रेम को संग उन्ख बहुतच आदर को लायक समझो। आपस म मेल मिलाप सी रहो।

14 But we exhort you, brethren, admonish the disorderly, comfort the faint-hearted, sustain the weak, be patient towards all.

हे भाऊवों अऊर बहिनों, हम तुम्ख इशारा देजे हंय कि जो आलसी हय उन्ख बिनती करजे हय, कायरो ख हिम्मत देवो, कमजोरों ख सम्भालो, सब को तरफ सहनशीलता दिखावो।

15 See that no one render to any evil for evil, but pursue always what is good towards one another and towards all;

सावधान! कोयी दूसरों सी बुरायी को बदला बुरायी मत करो; पर हमेशा भलायी करन पर तैयार रहो, आपस म अऊर सब सी भी भलायीच की बाते करो।

16 rejoice always;

हमेशा खुश रहो।

17 pray unceasingly;

लगातार प्रार्थना म लग्यो रहो।

18 in everything give thanks, for this is [the] will of God in Christ Jesus towards you;

हर परिस्थिति म परमेश्वर को धन्यवाद करो।

19 quench not the Spirit;

पवित्र आत्मा की आगी ख मत बुझावो।

20 do not lightly esteem prophecies;

परमेश्वर को तरफ सी आवन वालो सन्देश ख मत धिक्कारो।

21 but prove all things, hold fast the right;

सब बातों ख परखो; जो अच्छी हय ओख पकड़्यो रहो।

22 hold aloof from every form of wickedness.

सब तरह की बुरायी सी बच्यो रहो।

23 Now the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly: and your whole spirit, and soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

शान्ति को परमेश्वर खुदच तुम्ख पूरो रीति सी पवित्र करे; अऊर तुम्हरी आत्मा अऊर जीव अऊर शरीर हमरो प्रभु यीशु मसीह को आवन तक पूरो निर्दोष अऊर सुरक्षित रहे।

24 He [is] faithful who calls you, who will also perform [it].

तुम्हरो बुलावन वालो विश्वास लायक हय, अऊर ऊ असोच करेंन।

25 Brethren, pray for us.

हे भाऊवों अऊर बहिनों, हमरो लायी प्रार्थना करो।

26 Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.

सब भाऊवों अऊर बहिनों ख परमेश्वर को पवित्र प्रेम सी नमस्कार करो।

27 I adjure you by the Lord that the letter be read to all the [holy] brethren.

मय तुम्ख प्रभु को अधिकार सी तुम्ख बिनती करू हय कि या चिट्ठी सब विश्वासियों ख पढ़ क सुनायो जाये।

28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you.

हमरो प्रभु यीशु मसीह को अनुग्रह तुम पर होतो रहे।
