1 Thessalonians 3

1 Wherefore, being no longer able to refrain ourselves, we thought good to be left alone in Athens,

அதோ(அ)ஹம்’ யதா³ ஸந்தே³ஹம்’ புந​: ஸோடு⁴ம்’ நாஸ²க்நுவம்’ ததா³நீம் ஆதீ²நீநக³ர ஏகாகீ ஸ்தா²தும்’ நிஸ்²சித்ய

2 and sent Timotheus, our brother and fellow-workman under God in the glad tidings of Christ, to confirm you and encourage [you] concerning your faith,

ஸ்வப்⁴ராதரம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸுஸம்’வாதே³ ஸஹகாரிணஞ்சேஸ்²வரஸ்ய பரிசாரகம்’ தீமதி²யம்’ யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம் அப்ரேஷயம்’|

3 that no one might be moved by these afflictions. (For yourselves know that we are set for this;

வர்த்தமாநை​: க்லேஸை²​: கஸ்யாபி சாஞ்சல்யம்’ யதா² ந ஜாயதே ததா² தே த்வயா ஸ்தி²ரீக்ரியந்தாம்’ ஸ்வகீயத⁴ர்ம்மமதி⁴ ஸமாஸ்²வாஸ்யந்தாஞ்சேதி தம் ஆதி³ஸ²ம்’|

4 for also, when we were with you, we told you beforehand we are about to be in tribulation, even as also it came to pass, and ye know.)

வயமேதாத்³ரு’ஸே² க்லேஸே² நியுக்தா ஆஸ்மஹ இதி யூயம்’ ஸ்வயம்’ ஜாநீத², யதோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ து³ர்க³தி ர்ப⁴விஷ்யதீதி வயம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸமீபே ஸ்தி²திகாலே(அ)பி யுஷ்மாந் அபோ³த⁴யாம, தாத்³ரு’ஸ²மேவ சாப⁴வத் தத³பி ஜாநீத²|

5 For this reason I also, no longer able to refrain myself, sent to know your faith, lest perhaps the tempter had tempted you and our labour should be come to nothing.

தஸ்மாத் பரீக்ஷகேண யுஷ்மாஸு பரீக்ஷிதேஷ்வஸ்மாகம்’ பரிஸ்²ரமோ விப²லோ ப⁴விஷ்யதீதி ப⁴யம்’ ஸோடு⁴ம்’ யதா³ஹம்’ நாஸ²க்நுவம்’ ததா³ யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்ய தத்த்வாவதா⁴ரணாய தம் அப்ரேஷயம்’|

6 But Timotheus having just come to us from you, and brought to us the glad tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have always good remembrance of us, desiring much to see us, even as we also you;

கிந்த்வது⁴நா தீமதி²யோ யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபாத்³ அஸ்மத்ஸந்நிதி⁴ம் ஆக³த்ய யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸப்ரேமணீ அத்⁴யஸ்மாந் ஸுவார்த்தாம்’ ஜ்ஞாபிதவாந் வயஞ்ச யதா² யுஷ்மாந் ஸ்மராமஸ்ததா² யூயமப்யஸ்மாந் ஸர்வ்வதா³ ப்ரணயேந ஸ்மரத² த்³ரஷ்டும் ஆகாங்க்ஷத்⁴வே சேதி கதி²தவாந்|

7 for this reason we have been comforted in you, brethren, in all our distress and tribulation, through your faith,

ஹே ப்⁴ராதர​: , வார்த்தாமிமாம்’ ப்ராப்ய யுஷ்மாநதி⁴ விஸே²ஷதோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ க்லேஸ²து³​: கா²ந்யதி⁴ யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸாத்³ அஸ்மாகம்’ ஸாந்த்வநாஜாயத;

8 because now we live if ye stand firm in [the] Lord.

யதோ யூயம்’ யதி³ ப்ரபா⁴வவதிஷ்ட²த² தர்ஹ்யநேந வயம் அது⁴நா ஜீவாம​: |

9 For what thanksgiving can we render to God for you, for all the joy wherewith we rejoice on account of you before our God,

வயஞ்சாஸ்மதீ³யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத்³ யுஷ்மத்தோ ஜாதேந யேநாநந்தே³ந ப்ரபு²ல்லா ப⁴வாமஸ்தஸ்ய க்ரு’த்ஸ்நஸ்யாநந்த³ஸ்ய யோக்³யரூபேணேஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வதி³தும்’ கத²ம்’ ஸ²க்ஷ்யாம​: ?

10 night and day beseeching exceedingly to the end that we may see your face, and perfect what is lacking in your faith?

வயம்’ யேந யுஷ்மாகம்’ வத³நாநி த்³ரஷ்டும்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸே யத்³ அஸித்³த⁴ம்’ வித்³யதே தத் ஸித்³தீ⁴கர்த்துஞ்ச ஸ²க்ஷ்யாமஸ்தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ வரம்’ தி³வாநிஸ²ம்’ ப்ரார்த²யாமஹே|

11 But our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you.

அஸ்மாகம்’ தாதேநேஸ்²வரேண ப்ரபு⁴நா யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டேந ச யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபக³மநாயாஸ்மாகம்’ பந்தா² ஸுக³ம​: க்ரியதாம்’|

12 But you, may the Lord make to exceed and abound in love toward one another, and toward all, even as we also towards you,

பரஸ்பரம்’ ஸர்வ்வாம்’ஸ்²ச ப்ரதி யுஷ்மாகம்’ ப்ரேம யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி சாஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரேம ப்ரபு⁴நா வர்த்³த்⁴யதாம்’ ப³ஹுப²லம்’ க்ரியதாஞ்ச|

13 in order to the confirming of your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

அபரமஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்ட​: ஸ்வகீயை​: ஸர்வ்வை​: பவித்ரலோகை​: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ யதா³க³மிஷ்யதி ததா³ யூயம்’ யதா²ஸ்மாகம்’ தாதஸ்யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸம்முகே² பவித்ரதயா நிர்தோ³ஷா ப⁴விஷ்யத² ததா² யுஷ்மாகம்’ மநாம்’ஸி ஸ்தி²ரீக்ரியந்தாம்’|
