1 Kings 11
1 But king Solomon loved many foreign women, besides the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, Hittites;
ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಫರೋಹನ ಮಗಳನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ, ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ, ಸೀದೋನ್ಯರ, ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದನು.
2 of the nations of which Jehovah had said to the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in to you; they would certainly turn away your heart after their gods: to these Solomon was attached in love.
ಈ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬಾರದು. ಅವರು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡನು.
3 And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart.
ಅವನಿಗೆ ರಾಜಪುತ್ರಿಯರಾದ ಏಳು ನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಪತ್ನಿಯರೂ, ಮುನ್ನೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯರೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಅವನ ಪತ್ನಿಯರು ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
4 And it came to pass when Solomon was old, [that] his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with Jehovah his God, as the heart of David his father.
ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಮುದುಕನಾದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪತ್ನಿಯರು ಅನ್ಯದೇವರುಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದರು. ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ದಾವೀದನ ಹೃದಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
5 And Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಸೀದೋನ್ಯರ ದೇವತೆಯಾದ ಅಷ್ಟೋರೆತಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಮಿಲ್ಕೋಮನ್ನೂ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
6 And Solomon did evil in the sight of Jehovah, and followed not fully Jehovah, as David his father.
ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ದಾವೀದನ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
7 Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, on the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the children of Ammon.
ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಕೆಮೋಷಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
8 And so he did for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.
ಇದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟು, ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ತನ್ನ ಅನ್ಯಜಾತಿಯ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪತ್ನಿಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
9 And Jehovah was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned away from Jehovah the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,
ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಎರಡು ಸಾರಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ದೇವರಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ, ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, not to go after other gods; but he kept not what Jehovah had commanded.
ಅನ್ಯದೇವರುಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅವನು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದನು.
11 And Jehovah said to Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done by thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes which I commanded thee, I will certainly rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant:
ಆದಕಾರಣ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ನಡೆದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
12 notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it, for David thy father's sake; I will rend it out of the hand of thy son;
ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
13 only, I will not rend away all the kingdom: I will give one tribe to thy son, for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಾನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದರು.
14 And Jehovah stirred up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the king's seed in Edom.
ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎದೋಮ್ಯನಾದ ಹದದನನ್ನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಳಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು.
15 Now it came to pass when David was in Edom, when Joab the captain of the host had gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom
ದಾವೀದನು ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಎದೋಮಿನ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು. ತರುವಾಯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತರಾದವರನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಲು ಹೋದನು.
16 (for Joab abode there six months with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom),
ಯೋವಾಬನು ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳು ಇದ್ದನು.
17 that Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father's servants with him, to go into Egypt, Hadad being yet a little child.
ಆದರೆ ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಾಲಕನಾದ ಹದಾದನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಕೆಲವು ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೊರಟನು.
18 And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran, and took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt; who gave him a house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.
ಮಿದ್ಯಾನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಾರಾನಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಫರೋಹನು ಹದದನಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು, ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
19 And Hadad found great favour in the sight of Pharaoh, and he gave him as wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಫರೋಹನು ಹದದನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಫರೋಹನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆದ ತಪ್ನೆಸ್ ಎಂಬವಳ ಸಹೋದರಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
20 And the sister of Tahpenes bore him Genubath his son; and Tahpenes brought him up in Pharaoh's house; and Genubath was in Pharaoh's household, among the sons of Pharaoh.
ತಪ್ನೆಸ್ ಸಹೋದರಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗೆನುಬತ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ತಪ್ನೆಸ್ ಇವನನ್ನು ಫರೋಹನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದಳು. ಗೆನುಬತನು ಫರೋಹನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋಹನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು.
21 And Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead; and Hadad said to Pharaoh, Let me depart, that I may go to mine own country.
ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದನೆಂದೂ, ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದನೆಂದೂ, ಹದದನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಹದದನು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು,” ಎಂದನು.
22 And Pharaoh said to him, What then dost thou lack with me, that behold, thou desirest to go to thine own country? And he said, Nothing; but in any case let me depart.
ಫರೋಹನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವಾಗ ಏನು ಕೊರತೆಯಾಯಿತು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅವನು, “ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದನು.
23 God stirred him up yet an adversary, Rezon the son of Eliada, who had fled from Hadadezer king of Zobah, his lord.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಶತ್ರುವನ್ನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದರು. ಅವನು ಚೋಬದ ಅರಸನಾದ ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿರುವ ಹದದೆಜೆರನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಓಡಿ ಹೋದ ಎಲ್ಯಾದಾವನ ಮಗನಾದ ರೆಜೋನನು.
24 And he collected men to him, and became captain of a band, when David slew them [of Zobah]; and they went to Damascus, and dwelt there, and reigned in Damascus.
ದಾವೀದನು ಚೋಬದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವಾಗ ಇವನು ಜನರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿ, ಅರಸನಾದನು.
25 And he was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, besides the mischief that Hadad [did]; and he abhorred Israel, and reigned over Syria.
ಹದದನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಇವನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಶತ್ರುವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿ, ಅರಾಮ್ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದನು.
26 And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zeredah, Solomon's servant (whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow woman), even he lifted up his hand against the king.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಂಗೆ ಎದ್ದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ಚರೇದ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯನಾದ ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಇದ್ದನು, ಚೆರೂಯಳೆಂಬ ವಿಧವೆಯು ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು.
27 And this was the cause that he lifted up his hand against the king: Solomon was building Millo, and closing the breach of the city of David his father;
ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಂಗೆಯೆದ್ದ ಕಾರಣವೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಮಿಲ್ಲೋ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ,
28 and the man Jeroboam was strong and valiant; and Solomon saw the young man that he was industrious, and he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph.
ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಈ ಪ್ರಾಯಸ್ಥನು ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡತಕ್ಕವನೆಂದು ಕಂಡು, ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಆಳುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿಟ್ಟನು.
29 And it came to pass at that time that Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, and the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field.
ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ, ಶೀಲೋವಿನವನಾದ ಅಹೀಯನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಹೊಸ ಕಂಬಳಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
30 Then Ahijah seized the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces;
ಆಗ ಅಹೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಹೊಸ ಕಂಬಳಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ತುಂಡುಗಳಾಗಿ ಹರಿದು,
31 and said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces; for thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee;
ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೆ ಈ ಹತ್ತು ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು, “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಹತ್ತು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
32 but one tribe shall he have for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:
ಆದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಗೋತ್ರ ಇರುವುದು.
33 because they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in my sight, and my statutes and mine ordinances, as David his father.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೂ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯದೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಸೀದೋನ್ಯರ ದೇವತೆಯಾದ ಅಷ್ಟೋರೆತಳನ್ನೂ, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಕೆಮೋಷನ್ನೂ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಮಿಲ್ಕೋಮನ್ನೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
34 But I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand; for I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, who kept my commandments and my statutes;
“‘ಆದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಾನು ಆಯ್ದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ, ಅವನ ಜೀವಮಾನದ ಸಕಲ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಭುವಾಗಿ ಇರಿಸುವೆನು.
35 but I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it unto thee, — the ten tribes.
ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಮಗನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
36 And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a lamp always before me in Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen for myself to put my name there.
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನಿಡಲು ನಾನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಬೆಳಕು ಆರಿಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ, ಅವನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಗೋತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
37 And I will take thee, that thou mayest reign over all that thy soul desireth, and thou shalt be king over Israel.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುವುದೆಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸುತನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವಿ.
38 And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that which is right in my sight, in keeping my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did, that I will be with thee, and build thee a lasting house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ, ನನ್ನ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು, ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದು ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂತಾನದಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
39 And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.
ಇದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವೆನು, ಆದರೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ,’” ಎಂದು ಅಹೀಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
40 And Solomon sought to kill Jeroboam; and Jeroboam arose and fled into Egypt, to Shishak king of Egypt; and he was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.
ಇದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಹುಡುಕಿದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಎದ್ದು, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಶೀಶಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ, ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಸಾಯುವವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದನು.
41 And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?
ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಉಳಿದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
42 And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.
ಹೀಗೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಆಳಿದನು.
43 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father; and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಮೃತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದನು. ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನ ಮಗ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
