1 Chronicles 2
1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah, Issachar and Zebulun,
Dessa voro Israels söner: Ruben, Simeon, Levi och Juda, Isaskar och Sebulon,
2 Dan, Joseph and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher.
Dan, Josef och Benjamin, Naftali, Gad och Aser.
3 The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah: [which] three were born to him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of Jehovah; and he slew him.
Judas söner voro Er, Onan och Sela; dessa tre föddes åt honom av Suas dotter, kananeiskan. Men Er, Judas förstfödde, misshagade HERREN; därför dödade han honom.
4 And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Pherez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
Och Tamar, hans sonhustru, födde åt honom Peres och Sera, så att Judas söner voro tillsammans fem.
5 The sons of Pherez: Hezron and Hamul.
Peres' söner voro Hesron och Hamul.
6 And the sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
Seras söner voro Simri, Etan, Heman, Kalkol och Dara, tillsammans fem.
7 And the sons of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the accursed thing.
Men Karmis söner voro Akar, som drog olycka över Israel, när han trolöst förgrep sig på det tillspillogivna.
8 And the sons of Ethan: Azariah.
Och Etans söner voro Asarja.
9 And the sons of Hezron, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
Och de söner som föddes åt Hesron voro Jerameel, Ram och Kelubai.
10 And Ram begot Amminadab; and Amminadab begot Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
Och Ram födde Amminadab, och Amminadab födde Naheson, hövding för Juda barn.
11 and Nahshon begot Salma, and Salma begot Boaz,
Naheson födde Salma, och Salma födde Boas.
12 and Boaz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jesse;
Boas födde Obed, och Obed födde Isai.
13 and Jesse begot his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
Isai födde Eliab, som var hans förstfödde, Abinadab, den andre, och Simea, den tredje,
14 Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

16 and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

17 And Abigail bore Amasa; and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
Och Abigail födde Amasa, och Amasas fader var ismaeliten Jeter.
18 And Caleb the son of Hezron had children by Azubah [his] wife, and by Jerioth: her sons are these: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Och Kaleb, Hesrons son, födde ett barn av kvinnkön, Asuba, därtill ock Jeriot; och dessa voro henne söner: Jeser, Sobab och Ardon.
19 And Azubah died, and Caleb took him Ephrath, and she bore him Hur.
Och när Asuba dog, tog Kaleb Efrat till hustru åt sig, och hon födde åt honom Hur.
20 And Hur begot Uri, and Uri begot Bezaleel.
Och Hur födde Uri, och Uri födde Besalel.
21 And afterwards Hezron went to the daughter of Machir, the father of Gilead, and he took her when he was sixty years old; and she bore him Segub.
Därefter gick Hesron in till Makirs, Gileads faders, dotter; henne tog han till hustru, när han var sextio år gammal. Och hon födde åt honom Segub.
22 And Segub begot Jair, who had twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead;
Och Segub födde Jair; denne hade tjugutre städer i Gileads land.
23 and Geshur and Aram took the villages of Jair from them, with Kenath and its dependent towns, sixty cities. All these were sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
Men gesuréerna och araméerna togo ifrån dem Jairs byar jämte Kenat med underlydande orter, sextio städer. Alla dessa voro söner till Makir, Gileads fader.
24 And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, Abijah, Hezron's wife, bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.
Och sedan Hesron hade dött i Kaleb-Efrata, födde Hesrons hustru Abia åt honom Ashur, Tekoas fader.
25 And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were: Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, of Ahijah.
Och Jerameels, Hesrons förstföddes, söner voro Ram, den förstfödde, vidare Buna, Oren och Osem samt Ahia.
26 And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
Men Jerameel hade en annan hustru som hette Atara; hon var moder till Onam.
27 And the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
Och Rams, Jerameels förstföddes, söner voro Maas, Jamin och Eker.
28 And the sons of Onam were Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
Onams söner voro Sammai och Jada; och Sammais söner voro Nadab och Abisur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bore him Ahban and Molid.
Och Abisurs hustru hette Abihail; hon födde åt honom Aban och Molid.
30 And the sons of Nadab: Seled and Appaim; and Seled died without sons.
Nadabs söner voro Seled och Appaim. Seled dog barnlös.
31 And the sons of Appaim: Jishi; and the sons of Jishi: Sheshan; and the sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
Men Appaims söner voro Jisei; Jiseis söner voro Sesan; Sesans söner voro Alai.
32 And the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai: Jether and Jonathan; and Jether died without sons.
Jadas, Sammais broders, söner voro Jeter och Jonatan. Jeter dog barnlös.
33 And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
Men Jonatans söner voro Pelet och Sasa. Dessa voro Jerameels söner.
34 And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters; and Sheshan had an Egyptian servant, whose name was Jarha;
Men Sesan hade inga söner, utan allenast döttrar. Nu hade Sesan en egyptisk tjänare som hette Jarha.
35 and Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant as wife, and she bore him Attai.
Och Sesan gav sin dotter till hustru åt sin tjänare Jarha, och hon födde åt honom Attai.
36 And Attai begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabad,
Attai födde Natan, och Natan födde Sabad.
37 and Zabad begot Ephlal, and Ephlal begot Obed,
Sabad födde Eflal, och Eflal födde Obed.
38 and Obed begot Jehu, and Jehu begot Azariah,
Obed födde Jehu, och Jehu födde Asarja.
39 and Azariah begot Helez, and Helez begot Elasah,
Asarja födde Heles, och Heles födde Eleasa.
40 and Elasah begot Sismai, and Sismai begot Shallum,
Eleasa födde Sisamai, och Sisamai födde Sallum.
41 and Shallum begot Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begot Elishama.
Sallum födde Jekamja, och Jekamja födde Elisama.
42 And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
Och Kalebs, Jerameels broders, söner voro Mesa, hans förstfödde, som var Sifs fader, och Maresas, Hebrons faders, söner.
43 And the sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
Men Hebrons söner voro Kora, Tappua, Rekem och Sema.
44 And Shema begot Raham, the father of Jorkeam. And Rekem begot Shammai;
Sema födde Raham, Jorkeams fader. Men Rekem födde Sammai.
45 and the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
Sammais son var Maon, och Maon var Bet-Surs fader.
46 And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begot Gazez.
Och Efa, Kalebs bihustru, födde Haran, Mosa och Gases; och Haran födde Gases.
47 And the sons of Jehdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
Och Jadais söner voro Regem, Jotam, Gesan, Pelet, Efa och Saaf.
48 Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber and Tirhanah;
Kalebs bihustru Maaka födde Seber och Tirhana.
49 and she bore Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena and the father of Gibea. And the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
Hon födde ock Saaf, Madmannas fader, Seva, Makbenas fader och Gibeas fader. Och Kalebs dotter var Aksa.
50 These are the sons of Caleb. The sons of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah: Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,
Dessa voro Kalebs söner: Hurs, Efratas förstföddes, son var Sobal Kirjat-Jearims fader,
51 Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
vidare Salma, Bet-Lehems fader, och Haref, Bet-Gaders fader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons: Haroeh, Hazi-Hammenuhoth.
Söner till Sobal, Kirjat-Jearims fader, voro Haroe och hälften av Hammenuhot-släkten.
53 And the families of Kirjath-jearim were the Jithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zoreathites and the Eshtaolites.
Men Kirjat-Jearims släkter voro jeteriterna, putiterna, sumatiterna och misraiterna. Från dem utgingo sorgatiterna och estaoliterna.
54 The sons of Salma: Bethlehem, and the Netophathites. Atroth-Beth-Joab, and the Hazi-Hammana-hethites, the Zorites;
Salmas söner voro Bet-Lehem och netofatiterna, Atrot-Bet-Joab, så ock hälften av manahatiterna, sorgiterna.
55 and the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Tireathites, the Shimeathites, the Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
Och de skriftlärdes släkter, deras som bodde i Jaebes, voro tireatiterna, simeatiterna, sukatiterna. Dessa voro de kainéer som härstammade från Hammat, fader till Rekabs släkt.
