Romans 12

1 And so, I beg you, brothers, by the mercy of God, that you offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, with the subservience of your mind.

൧സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മനസ്സലിവു ഓർമ്മിപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്: നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരങ്ങളെ വിശുദ്ധിയും ദൈവത്തിന് സ്വീകാര്യവുമായ ജീവനുള്ള യാഗമായി സമർപ്പിപ്പിൻ; ഇതല്ലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ആത്മിക ആരാധന.

2 And do not choose to be conformed to this age, but instead choose to be reformed in the newness of your mind, so that you may demonstrate what is the will of God: what is good, and what is well-pleasing, and what is perfect. (aiōn g165)

൨ഈ ലോകത്തിനു അനുരൂപമാകാതെ നല്ലതും സ്വീകാര്യവും പൂർണ്ണതയുമുള്ള ദൈവഹിതം ഇന്നതെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതിന് മനസ്സ് പുതുക്കി രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുവിൻ. (aiōn g165)

3 For I say, through the grace that has been given to me, to all who are among you: Taste no more than it is necessary to taste, but taste unto sobriety and just as God has distributed a share of the faith to each one.

൩ഭാവിക്കേണ്ടതിന് മീതെ ഭാവിച്ചുയരാതെ ദൈവം അവനവന് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അളവ് പങ്കിട്ടതുപോലെ സുബോധമാകുംവണ്ണം ഭാവിക്കണമെന്ന് ഞാൻ എനിക്ക് ലഭിച്ച കൃപയാൽ നിങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോരുത്തനോടും പറയുന്നു.

4 For just as, within one body, we have many parts, though all the parts do not have the same role,

൪ഒരു ശരീരത്തിൽ നമുക്കു പല അവയവങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; എല്ലാ അവയവങ്ങൾക്കും പ്രവൃത്തി ഒന്നല്ലതാനും;

5 so also we, being many, are one body in Christ, and each one is a part, the one of the other.

൫അതുപോലെ പലരായ നാം ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ ഒരു ശരീരവും എല്ലാവരും തമ്മിൽ അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.

6 And we each have different gifts, according to the grace that has been given to us: whether prophecy, in agreement with the reasonableness of faith;

൬ആകയാൽ നമുക്കു നൽകപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള കൃപക്കനുസരിച്ച് വ്യത്യസ്തമായ വരങ്ങളും നമുക്കുണ്ട്. ഒരുവന് പ്രവചനവരമാണെങ്കിൽ അത് അവന്റെ വിശ്വാസത്തിന് ഒത്തവണ്ണം ചെയ്യട്ടെ,

7 or ministry, in ministering; or he who teaches, in doctrine;

൭ശുശ്രൂഷിപ്പാനുള്ള വരമാണെങ്കിൽ അവൻ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കട്ടെ, ഉപദേശിക്കുവാനുള്ള വരമാണെങ്കിൽ അവൻ ഉപദേശിക്കട്ടെ,

8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, in simplicity; he who governs, in solicitude; he who shows mercy, in cheerfulness.

൮പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള വരമാണെങ്കിൽ അവൻ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; കൊടുക്കുവാനുള്ള വരമാണെങ്കിൽ അവൻ അത് ഉദാരമായും, നയിക്കുവാനുള്ള വരമാണെങ്കിൽ അത് കരുതലോടെയും, കരുണകാണിക്കുവാനുള്ള വരമാണെങ്കിൽ അത് പ്രസന്നതയോടെയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

9 Let love be without falseness: hating evil, clinging to what is good,

൯സ്നേഹം കപടമില്ലാത്തതായിരിക്കട്ടെ; തിന്മയായതിനെ വെറുത്തു നല്ലതിനെ മുറുകെപ്പിടിക്കുവിൻ.

10 loving one another with fraternal charity, surpassing one another in honor:

൧൦സഹോദരസ്നേഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ച്; അന്യോന്യം വാത്സല്യത്തോടെയും, ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നതിൽ; അന്യോന്യം ആദരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്‌വിൻ.

11 in solicitude, not lazy; in spirit, fervent; serving the Lord;

൧൧ഉത്സാഹത്തിൽ മടുപ്പില്ലാതെ; ആത്മാവിൽ എരിവുള്ളവരായി; കർത്താവിനെ സേവിപ്പിൻ;

12 in hope, rejoicing; in tribulation, enduring; in prayer, ever-willing;

൧൨ആശയിൽ സന്തോഷിപ്പിൻ;

13 in the difficulties of the saints, sharing; in hospitality, attentive.

൧൩കഷ്ടതയിൽ സഹിഷ്ണത കാണിക്കുവിൻ; പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ ഉറ്റിരിക്കുവിൻ; വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളിൽ കൂട്ടായ്മ കാണിക്കുകയും അതിഥിസൽക്കാരം ആചരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്‌വിൻ.

14 Bless those who are persecuting you: bless, and do not curse.

൧൪നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവരെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുവിൻ; ശപിക്കാതെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുവിൻ.

15 Rejoice with those who are rejoicing. Weep with those who are weeping.

൧൫സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കയും കരയുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ കരയുകയും ചെയ്‌വിൻ.

16 Be of the same mind toward one another: not savoring what is exalted, but consenting in humility. Do not choose to seem wise to yourself.

൧൬തമ്മിൽ ഐകമത്യമുള്ളവരായിരിപ്പിൻ. വലിപ്പം ഭാവിക്കാതെ എളിയവരെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുവിൻ; നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാർ എന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുത്.

17 Render to no one harm for harm. Provide good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men.

൧൭ആർക്കും തിന്മയ്ക്ക് പകരം തിന്മ ചെയ്യാതെ സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ നന്മ പ്രവൃത്തിപ്പിൻ.

18 If it is possible, in so far as you are able, be at peace with all men.

൧൮കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളാൽ ആവോളം സകലമനുഷ്യരോടും സമാധാനമായിരിപ്പിൻ.

19 Do not defend yourselves, dearest ones. Instead, step aside from wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is mine. I shall give retribution, says the Lord.”

൧൯പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാതെ ദൈവകോപത്തിന് ഇടംകൊടുപ്പിൻ; പ്രതികാരം എനിക്കുള്ളത്; ഞാൻ പകരം ചെയ്യും എന്നു കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. എന്നാൽ

20 So if an enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink. For in doing so, you will heap burning coals upon his head.

൨൦“നിന്റെ ശത്രുവിന് വിശക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവന് തിന്മാൻ കൊടുക്ക; ദാഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കുടിക്കുവാൻ കൊടുക്ക; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ നീ അവന്റെ തലമേൽ തീക്കനൽ കൂനകൂട്ടും” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21 Do not allow evil to prevail, instead prevail over evil by means of goodness.

൨൧തിന്മയോട് തോല്ക്കാതെ നന്മയാൽ തിന്മയെ ജയിക്കുക.
