Revelation 7
1 After these things, I saw four Angels standing above the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that they would not blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree.
Alsdann sah ich vier Engel, die an den vier Ecken der Erde standen; sie hielten die vier Winde der Erde fest, damit nicht ein Wind hinwehe, weder auf die Erde noch auf das Meer noch über einen Baum.
2 And I saw another Angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having the Seal of the living God. And he cried out, in a great voice, to the four Angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,
Dann sah ich einen anderen Engel; von Sonnenaufgang stieg er auf, er hielt das Siegel des lebendigen Gottes und rief mit lauter Stimme den vier Engeln zu, die die Gewalt besaßen, die Erde und das Meer zu schädigen:
3 saying: “Do no harm to the earth, nor to the sea, nor to the trees, until we seal the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
"Schädigt nicht die Erde noch das Meer und nicht die Bäume, bis wir die Knechte unseres Gottes auf ihrer Stirne versiegelt haben."
4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed: one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed, out of every tribe of the sons of Israel.
Ich hörte auch die Zahl der so Versiegelten: Einhundertvierundvierzigtausend Versiegelte aus allen Stämmen Israels:
5 From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand were sealed.
Aus dem Stamme Juda: zwölftausend Versiegelte, aus dem Stamme Ruben: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Gad: zwölftausend,
6 From the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand were sealed.
aus dem Stamme Aser: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Nephtali: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Manasse: zwölftausend
7 From the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand were sealed.
und aus dem Stamme Simeon: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Levi: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Issachar: zwölftausend,
8 From the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand were sealed. From the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed.
aus dem Stamme Zabulon: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Joseph: zwölftausend, aus dem Stamme Benjamin: zwölftausend Versiegelte.
9 After these things, I saw a great crowd, which no one could number, from all the nations and tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and in sight of the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
Dann hatte ich ein Gesicht: Siehe, eine große Schar, die niemand zählen konnte, aus jedem Volk und allen Geschlechtern, aus allen Stämmen und Sprachen. Sie standen vor dem Thron und vor dem Lamme, mit weißen Kleidern angetan und Palmen in den Händen.
10 And they cried out, with a great voice, saying: “Salvation is from our God, who sits upon the throne, and from the Lamb.”
Mit lauter Stimme riefen sie: "Heil unserem Gott, der auf dem Throne sitzt, und dem Lamme!"
11 And all the Angels were standing around the throne, with the elders and the four living creatures. And they fell upon their faces in view of the throne, and they worshipped God,
Die Engel alle standen rund um den Thron und um die Ältesten und die vier Lebewesen. Sie fielen vor dem Thron auf ihr Antlitz nieder; sie beteten Gott an
12 saying: “Amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving, honor and power and strength to our God, forever and ever. Amen.” (aiōn g165)
und sprachen: "Amen. Lob, Preis, Weisheit, Dank, Ehre, Macht und Stärke gebühren unserem Gott von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeiten. Amen." (aiōn g165)
13 And one of the elders responded and said to me: “These ones who are clothed in white robes, who are they? And where did they come from?”
Darauf nahm einer von den Ältesten das Wort und sprach zu mir: "Die da bekleidet sind mit weißen Kleidern, wer sind sie, und woher kommen Sie?"
14 And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me: “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and have made them white by the blood of the Lamb.
Ich erwiderte ihm: "Herr, das weißt nur du!" Er sprach zu mir: "Das sind die, die aus der großen Trübsal kommen und ihre Kleider im Blute des Lammes weißgewaschen und gereinigt haben.
15 Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and they serve him, day and night, in his temple. And the One who sits upon the throne shall dwell over them.
Darum stehen sie vor dem Throne Gottes und dienen ihm in seinem Tempel Tag und Nacht. Der auf dem Throne sitzt, wird unter ihnen sein Zelt aufschlagen.
16 They shall not hunger, nor shall they thirst, anymore. Neither shall the sun beat down upon them, nor any heat.
Und sie werden nicht mehr hungern noch dürsten, noch wird die Sonne auf sie fallen, noch irgendwelche Glut.
17 For the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will rule over them, and he will lead them to the fountains of the waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Das Lamm, das mitten auf dem Throne steht, weidet sie und führt sie zu den Wasserquellen des Lebens, und Gott wird jede Träne von ihren Augen wischen."
