Revelation 5

1 And in the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne, I saw a book, written inside and out, sealed with seven seals.

Y ví en la mano derecha del que estaba sentado sobre el trono un libro escrito de dentro y de fuera, sellado con siete sellos.

2 And I saw a strong Angel, proclaiming with a great voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?”

Y ví un fuerte ángel, predicando en alta voz: ¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro, y de desatar sus sellos?

3 And no one was able, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, to open the book, nor to gaze upon it.

Y ninguno podía, ni en el cielo, ni en la tierra, ni debajo de la tierra, abrir el libro, ni mirarlo.

4 And I wept greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book, nor to see it.

Y yo lloraba mucho, porque no había sido hallado ninguno digno de abrir el libro, ni de leerlo, ni de mirarlo.

5 And one of the elders said to me: “Weep not. Behold, the lion from the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the book and to break its seven seals.”

Y uno de los ancianos me dice: No llores: he aquí, el León de la tribu de Judá, la Raíz de David, que ha prevalecido para abrir el libro, y desatar sus siete sellos.

6 And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb was standing, as if it were slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth to all the earth.

Y miré; y, he aquí, en medio del trono, y de los cuatro animales, y en medio de los ancianos, estaba un Cordero en pie como uno que hubiera sido inmolado, que tenía siete cuernos, y siete ojos, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios enviados en toda la tierra.

7 And he approached and received the book from the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne.

Y él vino, y tomó el libro de la mano derecha de aquel que estaba sentado en el trono.

8 And when he had opened the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having stringed instruments, as well as golden bowls full of fragrances, which are the prayers of the saints.

Y cuando hubo tomado el libro, los cuatro animales, y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero, teniendo cada uno arpas, y tazones de oro llenos de perfumes, que son las oraciones de los santos:

9 And they were singing a new canticle, saying: “O Lord, you are worthy to receive the book and to open its seals, because you were slain and have redeemed us for God, by your blood, from every tribe and language and people and nation.

Y cantaban una nueva canción, diciendo: Digno eres de tomar el libro, y de abrir sus sellos; porque tú fuiste inmolado, y nos has redimido para Dios con tu sangre, de todo linaje, y lengua, y pueblo, y nación:

10 And you have made us into a kingdom and into priests for our God, and we shall reign over the earth.”

Y nos has hecho para nuestro Dios, reyes y sacerdotes; y reinaremos sobre la tierra.

11 And I saw, and I heard the voice of many Angels surrounding the throne and the living creatures and the elders, (and their number was thousands of thousands)

Y miré, y oí voz de muchos ángeles al derredor del trono, y de los animales, y de los ancianos; y el número de ellos era miriadas de miriadas, y millares de millares,

12 saying with a great voice: “The Lamb who was slain is worthy to receive power, and divinity, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.”

Que decían en alta voz: El Cordero que fue inmolado es digno de recibir poder, y riquezas, y sabiduría, y fortaleza, y honra, y gloria, y bendición.

13 And every creature that is in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and all that is within the sea: I heard them all saying: “To the One sitting upon the throne and to the Lamb be blessing, and honor, and glory, and authority, forever and ever.” (aiōn g165)

Y oí a toda criatura que está en el cielo, y sobre la tierra, y debajo de la tierra, y que está en la mar, y todas las cosas que en ellos están, diciendo: Al que está sentado en el trono, y al Cordero, sea bendición, y honra, y gloria, y poder para siempre jamás. (aiōn g165)

14 And the four living creatures were saying, “Amen.” And the twenty-four elders fell down on their faces, and they adored the One who lives forever and ever.

Y los cuatro animales decían: Amén. Y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron, y adoraron al que vive para siempre jamás.
