Psalms 82

1 A Psalm of Asaph. God has stood in the synagogue of gods, but, in their midst, he decides between gods.

೧ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ, ದೇವರುಗಳೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವವರೊಳಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಧಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

2 How long will you judge unjustly and favor the faces of sinners?

೨“ನೀವು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪುಕೊಡುವುದೂ, ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ತೋರಿಸುವುದೂ ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ? (ಸೆಲಾ)

3 Judge for the indigent and the orphan. Do justice to the humble and the poor.

೩ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವರ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಾಥರ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ, ದುಃಖಿತರ ಮತ್ತು ದರಿದ್ರರ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿರಿ.

4 Rescue the poor, and free the needy from the hand of the sinner.

೪ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವರನ್ನು, ಬಡವರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.”

5 They did not know and did not understand. They wander in darkness. All the foundations of the earth will be moved.

೫ಇವರು ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರೂ, ವಿವೇಕಶೂನ್ಯರೂ ಆಗಿ ಅಂಧಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕದಲುತ್ತವೆ.

6 I said: You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High.

೬“ನೀವು ದೇವರುಗಳು, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು,

7 But you will die like men, and you will fall just like one of the princes.

೭ಆದರೂ ನರರಂತೆ ಸತ್ತೇ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರಭುವಿನಂತೆ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.

8 Rise up, O God. Judge the earth. For you will inherit it with all the nations.

೮ದೇವರೇ, ಏಳು; ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸು. ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಒಡೆಯನು ಅಲ್ಲವೋ?
