Psalms 61

1 Unto the end. With hymns, of David. O God, pay attention to my supplication. Be attentive to my prayer.

സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ കരച്ചിൽ കേൾക്കണമേ; എന്റെ പ്രാർഥന ശ്രവിക്കണമേ.

2 I cried out to you from the ends of the earth. When my heart was in anguish, you exalted me on a rock. You have led me,

ഭൂസീമകളിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ ഹൃദയം തകർന്നിരിക്കുമ്പോഴല്ലോ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്; എന്നെക്കാൾ ഉന്നതമായ പാറയിലേക്ക് എന്നെ നയിച്ചാലും.

3 for you have been my hope, a tower of strength before the face of the enemy.

കാരണം, അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ സങ്കേതമായിരിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്ക് അപ്രാപ്യമായ ശക്തിഗോപുരവുംതന്നെ.

4 I will dwell in your tabernacle forever. I will be protected under the cover of your wings.

ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ എന്നേക്കും അധിവസിക്കാൻ അഭിലഷിക്കുന്നു അവിടത്തെ ചിറകുകളുടെ പരിരക്ഷയിൽ ഞാൻ അഭയംതേടുന്നു. (സേലാ)

5 For you, my God, have listened to my prayer. You have granted an inheritance to those who fear your name.

ദൈവമേ, അവിടന്നെന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കുള്ള പൈതൃകാവകാശം അങ്ങ് എനിക്കു നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 You will add days to the days of the king, to his years, even to the time of generation after generation.

രാജാവിന്റെ ആയുസ്സ് സുദീർഘമാക്കണമേ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ അനേകം തലമുറകളിലൂടെ തുടരണമേ.

7 He remains in eternity, in the sight of God. Who will long for his mercy and truth?

ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിൽ രാജാവ് എന്നേക്കും വാഴട്ടെ; അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും വിശ്വസ്തതയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് സംരക്ഷണമരുളണമേ.

8 So I will compose a psalm to your name, forever and ever, so that I may repay my vows from day to day.

അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിന് എപ്പോഴും സ്തുതിപാടുകയും എന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ പ്രതിദിനം അർപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
