Psalms 60

1 Unto the end. For those who will be changed, with the inscription of a title, of David himself, for instruction: when he set fire to Mesopotamia of Syria and Sobal, and Joab turned back and struck Idumea, in the valley of the salt pits, twelve thousand men. O God, you have rejected us, and you have ruined us. You became angry, and yet you have been merciful to us.

हे परमेश्‍वर, तपाईंले हामीलाई फाल्‍नुभएको छ । तपाईंले हाम्रा सुरक्षाहरू तोड्नुभएको छ । तपाईं रिसाउनुभएको छ । हामीलाई फेरि पुनर्स्थापना गर्नुहोस् ।

2 You have moved the earth, and you have disturbed it. Heal its breaches, for it has been moved.

तपाईंले देशलाई कम्पित पार्नुभएको छ । तपाईंले यसलाई टुक्रा पार्नुभएको छ । यसका दरारहरू निको पार्नुहोस्, किनकि यो कामिरहेको छ ।

3 You have revealed to your people difficulties. You have made us drink the wine of remorse.

तपाईंले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई कठिन कुराहरू देख्‍न लगाउनुभएको छ । तपाईंले हामीलाई धरमराउने दाखमद्य पिउन लगाउनुभएको छ ।

4 You have given a warning sign to those who fear you, so that they may flee from before the face of the bow, so that your beloved may be delivered.

धनुधारीहरूका विरुद्धमा प्रदर्शन गर्नलाई तपाईंलाई आदर गर्नेहरूको निम्ति तपाईंले झन्डा खडा गर्नुभएको छ । सेला

5 Save me with your right hand, and hear me.

ताकि तपाईंले प्रेम गर्नुभएकाहरू बाँचून्, हामीलाई तपाईंको दाहिने बाहुलिले बचाउनुहोस् र मलाई जवाफ दिनुहोस् ।

6 God has spoken in his holy place: I will rejoice, and I will divide Shechem, and I will measure the steep valley of the tabernacles.

परमेश्‍वरले आफ्नो पवित्रतामा बोल्नुभएको छ, “म आनन्‍दित हुनेछु । म शकेमलाई बाँड्नेछु र सुक्‍कोतको बेसीलाई भाग लगाउनेछु ।

7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. And Ephraim is the strength of my head. Judah is my king.

गिलाद मेरो हो, मनश्‍शे मेरो हो । एफ्राइम मेरो टोप हो । यहूदा मेरो राजदण्ड हो ।

8 Moab is the cooking pot of my hope. Into Idumea, I will extend my shoe. To me, the foreigners have been made subject.

मोआब मेरो बाटा हो । एदोममा म आफ्‍नो जुत्ता फुकाल्छु । पलिश्तीको कारणले म विजयमा कराउनेछु ।”

9 Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will lead me all the way to Idumea?

कसले मलाई बलियो सहरमा ल्याउनेछ? कसले मलाई एदोममा लानेछ?

10 Will not you, O God, who has rejected us? And will not you, O God, go out with our armies?

तर हे परमेश्‍वर, के तपाईंले हामीलाई इन्कार गर्नुभएको छैन र? तपाईं हाम्रा फौजसँग युद्धमा जानुहुन्‍न ।

11 Grant us help from tribulation. For salvation from man is empty.

शत्रुका विरुद्धमा हामीलाई सहायता दिनुहोस्, किनकि मानिसको सहायता व्यार्थको हुन्छ ।

12 In God, we will act virtuously. And those who trouble us, he will lead to nothing.

परमेश्‍वरको सहायताले हामी विजयी हुनेछौं । उहाँले हाम्रा शत्रुहरूलाई कुल्चनुहुनेछ ।
