Psalms 59
1 Unto the end. May you not destroy. Of David, with the inscription of a title, when Saul sent and watched his house, in order to execute him. Rescue me from my enemies, my God, and free me from those who rise up against me.
Escápame de mis enemigos, o! Dios mío: líbrame de los que se levantan contra mí.
2 Rescue me from those who work iniquity, and save me from men of blood.
Escápame de los que obran iniquidad, y sálvame de los varones de sangres:
3 For behold, they have seized my soul. The strong have rushed upon me.
Porque, he aquí, han asechado a mi vida: hánse juntado contra mí fuertes sin rebelión mía, y sin pecado mío, o! Jehová.
4 And it is neither my iniquity, nor my sin, O Lord. I have run and gone directly, without iniquity.
Sin mi delito corren, y se aperciben: despierta para encontrarme, y mira.
5 Rise up to meet me, and see: even you, O Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel. Reach out to visit all nations. Do not take pity on all those who work iniquity.
Y tú, Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, despierta a visitar todas las naciones: no hayas misericordia de todos los que se rebelan con iniquidad. (Selah)
6 They will return toward evening, and they will suffer hunger like dogs, and they will wander around the city.
Volverse han a la tarde, ladrarán como perros, y rodearán la ciudad.
7 Behold, they will speak with their mouth, and a sword is in their lips: “For who has heard us?”
He aquí, hablarán con su boca: espadas están en sus labios, porque, ¿Quién lo oye?
8 And you, O Lord, will laugh at them. You will lead all the Gentiles to nothing.
Mas tú, Jehová, te reirás de ellos: harás burla de todas las gentes.
9 I will guard my strength toward you, for you are God, my supporter.
Para ti reservaré su fortaleza: porque Dios es mi defensa.
10 My God, his mercy will precede me.
El Dios de mi misericordia me prevendrá: Dios me hará ver en mis enemigos venganza.
11 God will oversee my enemies for me. Do not slay them, lest at times my people may forget them. Scatter them by your virtue. And depose them, O Lord, my protector,
No los matarás, porque mi pueblo no se olvide; házlos vagabundos con tu fortaleza, y abatelos, o! Jehová, escudo nuestro.
12 by the offense of their mouth and by the speech of their lips. And may they be caught in their arrogance. And, for their cursing and lying, they will be made known
Por el pecado de su boca, por la palabra de sus labios, y sean presos por su soberbia: y cuenten de maldición y de enflaquecimiento,
13 at the consummation, in the fury of the consummation, and so they will be no more. And they will know that God will rule over Jacob, even to the ends of the earth.
Acába los con furor, acába los y no sean: y sepan que Dios domina en Jacob hasta los fines de la tierra. (Selah)
14 They will return toward evening, and they will suffer hunger like dogs, and they will wander around the city.
Y vuelvan a la tarde, y ladren como perros: y rodeen la ciudad.
15 They will be dispersed in order to gnaw, and truly, when they will not have been satisfied, they will murmur.
Anden ellos vagabundos para hallar que comer: y si no se hartaren, murmuren.
16 But I will sing your strength, and I will extol your mercy, in the morning. For you have been my supporter and my refuge in the day of my tribulation.
Y yo cantaré tu fortaleza y loaré de mañana tu misericordia: porque has sido mi amparo, y refugio en el día de mi angustia.
17 To you, my helper, I will sing psalms. For you are God, my supporter. My God is my mercy.
Fortaleza mía, a ti cantaré: porque eres Dios de mi amparo, Dios de mi misericordia.
