Psalms 52
1 Unto the end. The understanding of David. When Doeg the Edomite came and reported to Saul, David went to the house of Ahimelech. Why do you glory in malice, you who are powerful in iniquity?

2 All day long your tongue thinks up injustice. Like a sharp razor, you have wrought deceit.
তুমি মিথ্যা কথা বলতে দক্ষ, তোমার জিভ ধ্বংসের পরিকল্পনা করে; এবং তা ধারালো ক্ষুরের মতো।
3 You have loved malice above goodness, and iniquity more than speaking righteousness.
তুমি ভালোর চেয়ে মন্দ, আর সত্য বলার চেয়ে মিথ্যা বলতে বেশি ভালোবাসো।
4 You have loved all precipitous words, you deceitful tongue.
তুমি মিথ্যাবাদী! তোমার বাক্য দিয়ে তুমি অপরকে বিনাশ করতে ভালোবাসো।
5 Because of this, God will destroy you in the end. He will pull you up, and he will remove you from your tabernacle and your root from the land of the living.
নিশ্চয় ঈশ্বর তোমাকে চিরকালীন ধ্বংসে অবনত করবেন: তিনি তোমাকে ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে তোমার তাঁবু থেকে উপড়ে ফেলবেন; আর তোমাকে জীবিতদের দেশ থেকে নির্মূল করবেন।
6 The just will see and be afraid, and they will laugh over him, and say:
ধার্মিকেরা এসব দেখবে ও ভীত হবে; তারা তোমায় পরিহাস করবে, আর বলবে,
7 “Behold the man who did not set God as his helper. But he hoped in the multitude of his riches, and so he prevailed in his emptiness.”
“এই যে সেই লোক, যে কখনও ঈশ্বরকে নিজের আশ্রয় দুর্গ করেনি, কিন্তু নিজের মহা ঐশ্বর্যে আস্থা রেখেছে, এবং অপরদের ধ্বংস করে নিজে শক্তিশালী হয়েছে।”
8 But I, like a fruitful olive tree in the house of God, have hoped in the mercy of God unto eternity, and forever and ever.
কিন্তু আমি, ঈশ্বরের গৃহে, উদীয়মান জলপাই গাছের মতো; যুগ যুগান্ত ধরে ঈশ্বরের অবিচল প্রেমে আস্থা রাখি।
9 I will confess to you forever, because you have accomplished it. And I will wait on your name, for it is good in the sight of your saints.
তুমি যা কিছু করেছ, তার জন্য আমি, তোমার বিশ্বস্ত প্রজাদের সামনে, সর্বদা তোমার ধন্যবাদ করব। এবং আমি তোমার নামে আশা রাখব কারণ তোমার নাম মঙ্গলময়।
