< Psalms 46 >

1 Unto the end. To the sons of Korah, for confidants. A Psalm. Our God is our refuge and strength, a helper in the tribulations that have greatly overwhelmed us.
Ki he takimuʻa ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo Kola, ko e hiva ʻi he ʻAlamoti. Ko e ʻOtua ko hotau hūfanga mo e mālohi, ko e tokoni lahi pea ofi ʻi he mamahi.
2 Because of this, we will not be afraid when the earth will be turbulent and the mountains will be transferred into the heart of the sea.
Ko ia ʻe ʻikai ai te tau manavahē, ʻo kapau ʻe hiki ʻa māmani, pea kapau ʻe hiki ʻae ngaahi moʻunga ki he loto tahi;
3 They thundered, and the waters were stirred up among them; the mountains have been disturbed by his strength.
Kapau ʻe ʻuʻulu pea hou ʻa hono ngaahi vai, pea ngalulu ʻae ngaahi moʻunga ʻi heʻene mahakehake. (Sila)
4 The frenzy of the river rejoices the city of God. The Most High has sanctified his tabernacle.
‌ʻOku ai ha vaitafe, ko hono mangaʻivai ʻo ia te ne fakafiefiaʻi ʻae kolo ʻoe ʻOtua, ko e potu māʻoniʻoni ʻoe ngaahi fale fehikitaki ʻoe Fungani Māʻolunga.
5 God is in its midst; it will not be shaken. God will assist it in the early morning.
‌ʻOku ʻi loto ʻiate ia ʻae ʻOtua; ʻe ʻikai ueʻi ia: ʻe tokoni ia ʻe he ʻOtua, ʻi he hoko mai ʻae pongipongi.
6 The peoples have been disturbed, and the kingdoms have been bowed down. He uttered his voice: the earth has been moved.
Naʻe matalili ʻae hiteni, naʻe ngaueue ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga: naʻa ne fakaongo atu hono leʻo, pea vela ʻo vai ʻa māmani.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.
Ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau ʻoku ʻiate kitautolu; ko e ʻOtua ʻo Sēkope ko hotau hūfanga. (Sila)
8 Draw near and behold the works of the Lord: what portents he has set upon the earth,
Haʻu, ʻo vakai ki he ngaahi ngāue ʻa Sihova, ʻae ngaahi fakaʻauha kuo ne fai ʻi māmani.
9 carrying away wars even to the end of the earth. He will crush the bow and break the weapons, and he will burn the shield with fire.
‌ʻOku ne fakaʻosi ʻae ngaahi tau ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga ʻo māmani; ʻoku ne fesiʻi ʻae kaufana, ʻo ne tutuʻu ke motuua ʻae tao; ʻoku ne tutu ʻae saliote ʻi he afi.
10 Be empty, and see that I am God. I will be exalted among the peoples, and I will be exalted upon the earth.
“Mou longo pē, pea ʻilo ko au ko e ʻOtua: te u hakeakiʻi au ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe hiteni, te u hakeakiʻi au ʻi māmani.”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our supporter.
Ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau ʻoku ʻiate kitautolu; ko e ʻOtua ʻo Sēkope ko hotau hūfanga. (Sila)
