Psalms 43

1 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O God, and discern my cause from that of a nation not holy; rescue me from a man unjust and deceitful.

ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿ ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಿರಿ, ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನ ಜನತೆಯ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ವಾದಿಸಿರಿ. ಮೋಸವೂ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ.

2 For you are God, my strength. Why have you rejected me? And why do I walk in sadness, while the adversary afflicts me?

ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು, ನನ್ನ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೋಟೆಯು; ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ? ಏಕೆ ನಾನು ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಬಾಧೆಯಿಂದ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು?

3 Send forth your light and your truth. They have guided me and led me, to your holy mountain and into your tabernacles.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರಿ; ಅವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀವು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಲಿ.

4 And I will enter, up to the altar of God, to God who enlivens my youthfulness. To you, O God, my God, I will confess upon a stringed instrument.

ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷವೂ ಹರ್ಷವೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬಂದು, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.

5 Why are you sad, my soul? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still give praise to him: the salvation of my countenance and my God.

ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ನೀನು ಏಕೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೀ? ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಏಕೆ ವ್ಯಥೆಪಡುತ್ತೀ? ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಅವರೇ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕರೂ ದೇವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೌದು, ನಾನು ದೇವರನ್ನೇ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.
