Psalms 43

1 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O God, and discern my cause from that of a nation not holy; rescue me from a man unjust and deceitful.

परमेश्वर, मुझे निर्दोष प्रमाणित कीजिए, श्रद्धाहीन पीढ़ी के विरुद्ध मेरे पक्ष में निर्णय दीजिए. मुझे झूठ बोलने वालों से एवं दुष्ट लोगों से मुक्त कीजिए.

2 For you are God, my strength. Why have you rejected me? And why do I walk in sadness, while the adversary afflicts me?

क्योंकि आप वह परमेश्वर हैं, जिनमें मेरा बल है. आप मुझे भूल क्यों गए? मेरे शत्रुओं द्वारा दी जा रही यातनाओं के कारण, मुझे शोकित क्यों होना पड़ रहा है?

3 Send forth your light and your truth. They have guided me and led me, to your holy mountain and into your tabernacles.

अपनी ज्योति तथा अपना सत्य भेज दीजिए, उन्हें ही मेरी अगुवाई करने दीजिए; कि मैं आपके पवित्र पर्वत तक पहुंच सकूं, जो आपका आवास है.

4 And I will enter, up to the altar of God, to God who enlivens my youthfulness. To you, O God, my God, I will confess upon a stringed instrument.

तब मैं परमेश्वर की वेदी के निकट जा सकूंगा, वही परमेश्वर, जो मेरे परमानंद हैं. तब परमेश्वर, मेरे परमेश्वर, मैं किन्‍नोर की संगत पर आपकी वंदना करूंगा.

5 Why are you sad, my soul? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still give praise to him: the salvation of my countenance and my God.

मेरे प्राण, तुम ऐसे खिन्‍न क्यों हो? क्यों मेरे हृदय में तुम ऐसे व्याकुल हो गए हो? परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रखो, क्योंकि यह सब होते हुए भी मैं याहवेह का स्तवन करूंगा.
