< Psalms 34 >

1 To David, when he changed his appearance in the sight of Abimelech, and so he dismissed him, and he went away. I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise will be ever in my mouth.
Abụ Ọma Devid. Mgbe ọ gbanwere omume ya mee ka onye na-ayị ara nʼihu Abimelek, onye nke chụpụrụ ya, ya a pụọ. Aga m eto Onyenwe anyị mgbe niile. Mgbe niile ka otuto ya ga-adị nʼọnụ m.
2 In the Lord, my soul will be praised. May the meek listen and rejoice.
Mkpụrụobi m ga-anya isi na Onyenwe anyị; ka ndị niile a na-akpagbu gee ntị ṅụrịa ọṅụ.
3 Magnify the Lord with me, and let us extol his name in itself.
Soro m too Onyenwe anyị; ka anyị bulie aha ya elu.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heeded me, and he carried me away from all my tribulations.
Nʼihi na etikuru m Onyenwe anyị mkpu akwa, ọ zakwara m, napụta m site nʼaka ịtụ ụjọ m niile.
5 Approach him and be enlightened, and your faces will not be confounded.
Ihu ndị na-elekwasị ya anya na-enwu dịka ihe; ihere adịghị eme ha.
6 This poor one cried out, and the Lord heeded him, and he saved him from all his tribulations.
Onye ogbenye a kpọkuru Onyenwe anyị, ọ zakwara ya; ọ zọpụtara ya site na nsogbu ya niile.
7 The Angel of the Lord will encamp around those who fear him, and he will rescue them.
Mmụọ ozi Onyenwe anyị na-agba ndị niile na-atụ egwu ya gburugburu na-anapụtakwa ha.
8 Taste and see that the Lord is sweet. Blessed is the man who hopes in him.
Jiri aka gị tulee ma hụkwa na Onyenwe anyị dị mma; onye a gọziri agọzi ka onye ahụ bụ, onye nke na-agbaba nʼime ya.
9 Fear the Lord, all you his saints. For there is no destitution for those who fear him.
Tụọnụ egwu Onyenwe anyị, unu ndị nsọ ya, nʼihi na ọ dịghị ihe na-akọ ndị niile na-atụ egwu ya.
10 The rich have been needy and hungry, but those who seek the Lord will not be deprived of any good thing.
Agụụ nwere ike ịgụ ụmụ ọdụm, ike pụkwara ịgwụ ha, ma ihe ọbụla bụ ihe ọma agaghị akọ ndị niile na-achọ Onyenwe anyị.
11 Come forward, sons. Listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Ụmụ m, bịanụ gee m ntị; aga m ezi unu ihe ịtụ egwu Onyenwe anyị bụ.
12 Which is the man who wills life, who chooses to see good days?
Onye ọbụla nʼime unu hụrụ ndụ nʼanya, ma nwee ọchịchọ ihu ọtụtụ ụbọchị ndị dị mma,
13 Prohibit your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.
chezie ire gị ka ọ ghara ikwu ihe ọjọọ, chezikwaa egbugbere ọnụ gị ka ọ gharakwa ịgha ụgha.
14 Turn away from evil, and do good. Inquire about peace, and pursue it.
Site nʼihe ọjọọ wezuga onwe gị ma mee ezi ihe, chọọ udo ma gbasookwa ya.
15 The eyes of the Lord are on the just, and his ears are with their prayers.
Anya Onyenwe anyị dị nʼahụ ndị ezi omume, ntị ya gheekwa oghe nye mkpu akwa ha;
16 But the countenance of the Lord is upon those who do evil, to perish the remembrance of them from the earth.
ma ihu Onyenwe anyị na-emegide ndị na-eme ihe ọjọọ, ime ka a hapụ ichetakwa ihe banyere ha nʼụwa.
17 The just cried out, and the Lord heard them, and he freed them from all their tribulations.
Onyenwe anyị na-anụ olu ndị ezi omume, mgbe ha na-akpọku ya ka o nyere ha aka; ọ na-azọpụtakwa ha site na nsogbu ha niile.
18 The Lord is near to those who are troubled in heart, and he will save the humble in spirit.
Onyenwe anyị na-anọ ndị niile obi ha tiwara etiwa nso, ọ na-anapụta ndị niile olileanya ha gwụrụ.
19 Many are the afflictions of the just, but from them all the Lord will free them.
Nsogbu na-adakwasị ndị ezi omume na-adị ukwuu, ma Onyenwe anyị na-anapụta ha site na nsogbu ndị ahụ niile.
20 The Lord preserves all of their bones, not one of them shall be broken.
Ọ na-anapụtakwa ha kpamkpam. Ọ gaghị ekwe ka ọ bụladị otu ọkpụkpụ dị ha nʼahụ gbajie.
21 The death of a sinner is very harmful, and those who hate the just will fare badly.
Ihe ọjọọ ga-eme ka onye ajọ omume nwụọ; ndị na-akpọ onye ezi omume asị ka a ga-ama ikpe ọnwụ.
22 The Lord will redeem the souls of his servants, and none of those who hope in him will fare badly.
Onyenwe anyị na-agbapụta ndị ohu ya; ọ dịghị onye ọbụla nke na-agbaba nʼime ya a ga-ama ikpe ọnwụ.
