Numbers 26

1 After the blood of the guilty was shed, the Lord said to Moses, and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest:

E aconteceu depois da mortandade, que o SENHOR falou a Moisés, e a Eleazar filho do sacerdote Arão, dizendo:

2 “Number the entire sum of the sons of Israel, from twenty years and above, by their houses and kinships, all who are able to go forth to war.”

Tomai a soma de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, de vinte anos acima, pelas casas de seus pais, todos os que possam sair à guerra em Israel.

3 And so, Moses and Eleazar the priest, who were in the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho, spoke to those who were

E Moisés e Eleazar o sacerdote falaram com eles nos campos de Moabe, junto ao Jordão de Jericó, dizendo:

4 from twenty years and above, just as the Lord had commanded. And this is their number:

Contareis o povo de vinte anos acima, como mandou o SENHOR a Moisés e aos filhos de Israel, que haviam saído da terra do Egito.

5 Ruben, the firstborn of Israel; his son, Hanoch, from whom is the family of the Hanochites; and Pallu, from whom is the family of the Palluites;

Rúben primogênito de Israel: os filhos de Rúben: Enoque, do qual era a família dos enoquitas; de Palu, a família dos paluítas;

6 and Hezron, from whom is the family of the Hezronites; and Carmi, from whom is the family of the Carmites.

De Hezrom, a família dos hezronitas; de Carmi, a família dos carmitas.

7 These are the families of the stock of Ruben, whose number was found to be forty-three thousand and seven hundred thirty.

Estas são as famílias dos rubenitas: e seus contados foram quarenta e três mil setecentos e trinta.

8 The son of Phallu: Eliab;

E os filhos de Palu: Eliabe.

9 his sons, Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram. These are Dathan and Abiram, the leaders of the people, who rose up against Moses and Aaron in the sedition at Korah, when they rebelled against the Lord.

E os filhos de Eliabe: Nemuel, e Datã, e Abirão. Estes Datã e Abirão foram os do conselho da congregação, que fizeram o motim contra Moisés e Arão com a companhia de Coré, quando se amotinaram contra o SENHOR.

10 And the earth, opening its mouth, devoured Korah, with many others dying, when the fire burned two hundred fifty men. And a great miracle was wrought,

Que a terra abriu sua boca e tragou a eles e a Coré, quando aquela companhia morreu, quando consumiu o fogo duzentos e cinquenta homens, os quais foram por sinal.

11 so that, when Korah perished, his sons did not perish.

Mas os filhos de Coré não morreram.

12 The sons of Simeon, by their kinships: Nemuel, from him is the family of the Nemuelites; Jamin, from him is the family of the Jaminites; Jachin, from him is the family of the Jachinites;

Os filhos de Simeão por suas famílias: de Nemuel, a família dos nemuelitas; de Jamim, a família dos jaminitas; de Jaquim, a família dos jaquinitas;

13 Sohar, from him is the family of the Soharites; Shaul, from him is the family of the Shaulites.

De Zerá, a família dos zeraítas; de Saul, a família dos saulitas.

14 These are the families of the stock of Simeon, whose entire number was twenty-two thousand two hundred.

Estas são as famílias dos simeonitas, vinte e dois mil e duzentos.

15 The sons of Gad, by their kinships: Zephon, from him is the family of the Zephonites; Haggi, from him is the family of the Haggites; Shuni, from him is the family of the Shunites;

Os filhos de Gade por suas famílias: de Zefom, a família dos zefonitas; de Hagi, a família dos hagitas; de Suni, a família dos sunitas;

16 Ozni, from him is the family of the Oznites; Eri, from him is the family of the Erites;

17 Arod, from him is the family of the Arodites; Areli, from him is the family of the Arelites.

18 These are the families of Gad, whose entire number was forty thousand five hundred.

19 The sons of Judah: Er and Onan, who both died in the land of Canaan.

Os filhos de Judá: Er e Onã; e Er e Onã morreram na terra de Canaã.

20 And these were the sons of Judah, by their kinships: Shelah, from whom is the family of the Shelahites; Perez, from whom is the family of the Perezites; Zerah, from whom is the family of the Zerahites.

E foram os filhos de Judá por suas famílias: de Selá, a família dos selanitas; de Perez, a família dos perezitas; de Zerá, a família dos zeraítas.

21 Moreover, the sons of Phares were: Hezron, from whom is the family of the Hezronites; and Hamul, from whom is the family of the Hamulites.

E foram os filhos de Perez: de Hezrom, a família dos hezronitas; de Hamul, a família dos hamulitas.

22 These are the families of Judah, whose entire number was seventy-six thousand five hundred.

Estas são as famílias de Judá, por seus contados, setenta e seis mil e quinhentos.

23 The sons of Issachar, by their kinships: Tola from whom is the family of the Tolaites; Puvah, from whom is the family of the Puvahites;

Os filhos de Issacar por suas famílias: de Tola, a família dos tolaítas; de Puá a família dos puvitas;

24 Jashub, from whom is the family of the Jashubites; Shimron, from whom is the family of the Shimronites.

De Jasube, a família dos jasubitas; de Sinrom, a família dos sinronitas.

25 These are the kinships of Issachar, whose number was sixty-four thousand three hundred.

Estas são as famílias de Issacar, por seus contados, sessenta e quatro mil e trezentos.

26 The sons of Zebulon by their kinships: Sered, from whom is the family of the Seredites; Elon, from whom is the family of the Elonites; Jahleel, from whom is the family of the Jahleelites.

Os filhos de Zebulom por suas famílias: de Serede, a família dos sereditas; de Elom, a família dos elonitas; de Jaleel, a família dos jaleelitas.

27 These are the kinships of Zebulun, whose number was sixty thousand five hundred.

Estas são as famílias dos zebulonitas, por seus contados, sessenta mil e quinhentos.

28 The sons of Joseph by their kinships: Manasseh and Ephraim.

Os filhos de José por suas famílias: Manassés e Efraim.

29 From Manasseh was born Machir, from whom is the family of the Machirites. Machir conceived Gilead, from whom is the family of the Gileadites.

Os filhos de Manassés: de Maquir, a família dos maquiritas; e Maquir gerou a Gileade; de Gileade, a família dos gileaditas.

30 Gilead had sons: Jezer, from whom is the family of the Jezerites; and Helek, from whom is the family of the Helekites;

Estes são os filhos de Gileade: de Jezer, a família dos jezeritas; de Heleque, a família dos helequitas;

31 and Asriel, from whom is the family of the Asrielites; and Shechem, from whom is the family of the Shechemites;

De Asriel, a família dos asrielitas: de Siquém, a família dos siquemitas;

32 and Shemida, from whom is the family of the Shemidaites; and Hepher, from whom is the family of the Hepherites.

De Semida, a família dos semidaítas; de Héfer, a família dos heferitas.

33 Now Hepher was the father of Zelophehad, who had no sons, but only daughters, whose names are these: Mahlah, and Noa, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

E Zelofeade, filho de Héfer, não teve filhos somente filhas: e os nomes das filhas de Zelofeade foram Maalá, e Noa, e Hogla, e Milca, e Tirza.

34 These are the families of Manasseh, and their number was fifty-two thousand seven hundred.

Estas são as famílias de Manassés; e seus contados, cinquenta e dois mil e setecentos.

35 Now the sons of Ephraim by their kinships were these: Shuthelah, from whom is the family of the Shuthelahites; Becher, from whom is the family of the Becherites; Tahan, from whom is the family of the Tahanites.

Estes são os filhos de Efraim por suas famílias: de Sutela, a família dos sutelaítas; de Bequer, a família dos bequeritas; de Taã, a família dos taanitas.

36 Furthermore, the son of Shuthelah was Eran, from whom is the family of the Eranites.

E estes são os filhos de Sutela: de Erã, a família dos eranitas.

37 These are the kinships of the sons of Ephraim, whose number was thirty-two thousand five hundred.

Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Efraim, por seus contados, trinta e dois mil e quinhentos. Estes são os filhos de José por suas famílias.

38 These are the sons of Joseph by their families: the sons of Benjamin in their kinships: Bela, from whom is the family of the Belaites; Ashbel, from whom is the family of the Ashbelites; Ahiram, from whom is the family of the Ahiramites;

Os filhos de Benjamim por suas famílias: de Belá, a família dos belaítas; de Asbel, a família dos asbelitas; de Airã, a família dos airamitas;

39 Shupham, from whom is the family of the Shuphamites; Hupham, from whom is the family of the Huphamites.

De Sufã, a família dos sufamitas; de Hufã, a família dos hufamitas.

40 The sons of Bela: Arad and Naaman. From Arad, the family of the Aradites; from Naaman, the family of the Naamanites.

E os filhos de Belá foram Arde e Naamã: de Arde, a família dos arditas; de Naamã, a família dos naamanitas.

41 These are the sons of Benjamin by their kinships, whose number was forty-five thousand six hundred.

Estes são os filhos de Benjamim por suas famílias; e seus contados, quarenta e cinco mil e seiscentos.

42 The sons of Dan by their kinships: Shuham, from whom is the family of the Shuhamites. These are the kinships of Dan by their families.

Estes são os filhos de Dã por suas famílias: de Suã, a família dos suamitas. Estas são as famílias de Dã por suas famílias.

43 All these were Shuhamites, whose number was sixty-four thousand four hundred.

Todas as famílias dos suamitas, por seus contados, sessenta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.

44 The sons of Asher by their kinships: Imnah, from whom is the family of the Imnahites; Ishvi, from whom is the family of the Ishvites; Beriah, from whom is the family of the Beriahites.

Os filhos de Aser por suas famílias: de Imna, a família dos imnaítas; de Isvi, a família dos isvitas; de Berias, a família dos beriitas.

45 The sons of Beriah: Heber, from whom is the family of the Heberites; and Malchiel, from whom is the family of the Malchielites.

Os filhos de Berias: de Héber, a família dos heberitas; de Malquiel, a família dos malquielitas.

46 Now the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

E o nome da filha de Aser foi Sera.

47 These are the kinships of the sons of Asher, and their number was fifty-three thousand four hundred.

Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Aser, por seus contados, cinquenta e três mil e quatrocentos.

48 The sons of Naphtali by their kinships: Jahzeel, from whom is the family of the Jahzeelites; Guni, from whom is the family of the Gunites;

Os filhos de Naftali por suas famílias: de Jazeel, a família dos jazeelitas; de Guni, a família dos gunitas;

49 Jezer, from whom is the family of the Jezerites; Shillem, from whom is the family of the Shillemites.

De Jezer, a família dos jezeritas; de Silém, a família dos silemitas.

50 These are the kinships of the sons of Naphtali by their families, whose number was forty-five thousand four hundred.

Estas são as famílias de Naftali por suas famílias; e seus contados, quarenta e cinco mil e quatrocentos.

51 This is the sum of the sons of Israel, who were counted: six hundred thousand and one thousand seven hundred thirty.

Estes são os contados dos filhos de Israel, seiscentos e um mil setecentos e trinta.

52 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:

53 “The land shall be divided to these, as their possessions, according to the number of their names.

A estes se repartirá a terra em herança, pela conta dos nomes.

54 To the greater number you shall give a greater portion, and to the lesser number, a lesser portion. To each one, just as they have now been counted, a possession shall be delivered.

Aos mais darás maior herança, e aos menos menor; e a cada um se lhe dará sua herança conforme seus contados.

55 Yet only in so far as the land is divided by lot to a tribe and to families.

Porém a terra será repartida por sorteio; e pelos nomes das tribos de seus pais herdarão.

56 Whatever the lot will happen to be, it shall be accepted, either by the greater, or by the lesser.

Conforme a sorte será repartida sua herança entre o grande e o pequeno.

57 Likewise, this is the number of the sons of Levi by their families: Gershon, from whom is the family of the Gershonites; Kohath, from whom is the family of the Kohathites; Merari, from whom is the family of the Merarites.

E os contados dos levitas por suas famílias são estes: de Gérson, a família dos gersonitas; de Coate, a família dos coatitas; de Merari, a família dos meraritas.

58 These are the families of Levi: The family of Libni, the family of Hebroni, the family of Mahli, the family of Mushi, the family of Korah. Yet truly, Kohath conceived Amram,

Estas são as famílias dos levitas: a família dos libnitas, a família dos hebronitas, a família dos malitas, a família dos musitas, a família dos coraítas. E Coate gerou a Anrão.

59 who had a wife, Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to him in Egypt. She bore, to her husband Amram: sons, Aaron and Moses, as well as their sister, Miriam.

E a mulher de Anrão se chamou Joquebede, filha de Levi, a qual nasceu a Levi no Egito: esta deu à luz de Anrão a Arão e a Moisés, e a Miriã sua irmã.

60 From Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, and Eleazar and Ithamar.

E a Arão nasceram Nadabe e Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

61 Of these, Nadab and Abihu died, when they had offered strange fire before the Lord.

Mas Nadabe e Abiú morreram, quando ofereceram fogo estranho diante do SENHOR.

62 And these were all who were numbered: twenty-three thousand of the male gender, from one month and above. For they were not counted among the sons of Israel, neither was a possession given to them with the others.

E os contados dos levitas foram vinte e três mil, todos homens de um mês acima: porque não foram contados entre os filhos de Israel, porquanto não lhes havia de ser dada herança entre os filhos de Israel.

63 This is the number of the sons of Israel, who were enrolled by Moses and by Eleazar the priest, in the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho.

Estes são os contados por Moisés e Eleazar o sacerdote, os quais contaram os filhos de Israel nos campos de Moabe, junto ao Jordão de Jericó.

64 Among these, not one of them was numbered before, by Moses and Aaron in the desert of Sinai.

E entre estes ninguém havia dos contados por Moisés e Arão o sacerdote, os quais contaram aos filhos de Israel no deserto de Sinai.

65 For the Lord had foretold that all would die in the wilderness. And not one of them remained, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Porque o SENHOR lhes disse: Hão de morrer no deserto: e não restou homem deles, a não ser Calebe filho de Jefoné, e Josué filho de Num.
