And, if thy foot be causing thee to stumble, cut it off, —it is, seemly, for thee, to enter into life, lame, rather than having, the two feet, to be cast into the gehenna; (Geenna g1067)
But if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into the Hell of fire, (Geenna g1067)
And, if thine eye be causing thee to stumble, thrust it out, —it is, seemly, for thee, one-eye, to enter into the kingdom of God, rather than having, two eyes, to be cast into gehenna, (Geenna g1067)
And when he had departed on the way, a certain one, running up and kneeling before him, asked him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do, so that I may secure eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
And, as he was going forth into a road, one, running, and kneeling before him, was questioning him—Good Teacher! what shall I do that, life age—abiding, I may inherit? (aiōnios g166)
who will not receive one hundred times as much, now in this time: houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and land, with persecutions, and in the future age eternal life. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
who shall not receive a hundredfold, now, in this season, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, —with persecutions, and, in the age that is coming, life age-abiding. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
And in response, he said to it, “From now on and forever, may no one eat fruit from you again!” And his disciples heard this. (aiōn g165)
And, answering, he said unto it—No more, unto times age-abiding, let anyone of thee, eat fruit. And his disciples were listening. (aiōn g165)
And he will reign in the house of Jacob for eternity. And his kingdom shall have no end.” (aiōn g165)
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob, unto the ages, and, of his kingdom, there shall be, no end. (aiōn g165)
just as he spoke to our fathers: to Abraham and to his offspring forever.” (aiōn g165)
According as he spake unto our fathers, —To Abraham, and to his seed, —Unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
just as he spoke by the mouth of his holy Prophets, who are from ages past: (aiōn g165)
According as he hath spoken by mouth of his holy ancient prophets, — (aiōn g165)
And they petitioned him not to order them to go into the abyss. (Abyssos g12)
And they were beseeching him that he would not order them, into the abyss, to depart. (Abyssos g12)
And as for you, Capernaum, who would be exalted even up to Heaven: you shall be submerged into Hell. (Hadēs g86)
And, thou, Capernaum, —Unto heaven, shalt thou be uplifted? …Unto hades, thou shalt be brought down! (Hadēs g86)
And behold, a certain expert in the law rose up, testing him and saying, “Teacher, what must I do to possess eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
And lo! a certain lawyer, arose, putting him to the test, saying—Teacher! by doing what, shall I inherit, life age-abiding? (aiōnios g166)
But I will reveal to you whom you should fear. Fear him who, after he will have killed, has the power to cast into Hell. So I say to you: Fear him. (Geenna g1067)
But I will suggest to you, whom ye should fear—Fear him who, after killing, hath authority to cast into gehenna, —Yea, I say unto you—Him, fear ye. (Geenna g1067)
And the lord praised the iniquitous steward, in that he had acted prudently. For the sons of this age are more prudent with their generation than are the sons of light. (aiōn g165)
And the lord praised the unrighteous steward, in that with forethought he acted: —Because, the sons of this age, have more forethought than the sons of light, respecting their own generation. (aiōn g165)
And so I say to you, make friends for yourself using iniquitous mammon, so that, when you will have passed away, they may receive you into the eternal tabernacles. (aiōnios g166)
And, I, unto you, say—For yourselves, make ye friends, with the unjust Riches, in order that, as soon as it shall fail, they may welcome you into the age-abiding tents. (aiōnios g166)
in Hell. Then lifting up his eyes, while he was in torments, he saw Abraham far away, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs g86)
And, in hades, lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (Hadēs g86)
And a certain leader questioned him, saying: “Good teacher, what should I do to possess eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
And a certain, ruler, questioned him, saying—Good Teacher! by doing what, shall I inherit life age-abiding? (aiōnios g166)
who will not receive much more in this time, and in the age to come eternal life.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
who shall in anywise not receive manifold in this season, and, in the age that is coming, life age-abiding. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
And so, Jesus said to them: “The children of this age marry and are given in marriage. (aiōn g165)
And Jesus said unto them—The sons of this age, marry, and are given in marriage, — (aiōn g165)
Yet truly, those who shall be held worthy of that age, and of the resurrection from the dead, will neither be married, nor take wives. (aiōn g165)
But, they who have been accounted worthy, that age, to obtain, and the resurrection that is from among the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage; (aiōn g165)
so that whoever believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
That, whosoever believeth in him, may have life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
For God, so loved, the world, that, his Only Begotten Son, he gave, —that, whosoever believeth on him, might not perish, but have life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. But whoever is unbelieving toward the Son shall not see life; instead the wrath of God remains upon him.” (aiōnios g166)
He that believeth on the Son, hath life age-abiding: whereas, he that yieldeth not unto the Son, shall not see life, —but, the anger of God, awaiteth him. (aiōnios g166)
But whoever shall drink from the water that I will give to him will not thirst for eternity. Instead, the water that I will give to him will become in him a fountain of water, springing up into eternal life.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
But, whosoever shall drink of the water which, I, will give him, in nowise shall thirst, unto times age-abiding, —but, the water which I will give him, shall become, within him, a fountain of water, springing up unto life age-abiding. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
For he who reaps, receives wages and gathers fruit unto eternal life, so that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. (aiōnios g166)
he that reapeth, receiveth, a reward, and gathereth fruit unto life age-abiding; that, he that soweth, together may rejoice, with him that reapeth. (aiōnios g166)
Amen, amen, I say to you, that whoever hears my word, and believes in him who sent me, has eternal life, and he does not go into judgment, but instead he crosses from death into life. (aiōnios g166)
Verily, verily, I say unto you: He that heareth, my word, and believeth in him that sent me, hath life age-abiding, and, into judgment, cometh not, but hath passed over, out of death into life. (aiōnios g166)
Study the Scriptures. For you think that in them you have eternal life. And yet they also offer testimony about me. (aiōnios g166)
Ye search the Scriptures, because, ye, think, by them, to have, life age-abiding; and, those [Scriptures], are they which bear witness concerning me: (aiōnios g166)
Do not work for food that perishes, but for that which endures to eternal life, which the Son of man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.” (aiōnios g166)
Be working, not for the food that perisheth, but for the food that endureth unto life age-abiding, —which, the Son of Man, unto you, will give; for upon, the same, hath the Father, even God, set his seal. (aiōnios g166)
So then, this is the will of my Father who sent me: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” (aiōnios g166)
For, this, is the will of my Father, That, every one that vieweth the Son, and believeth on him, should have life age-abiding, and, I, should raise him up, at the last day. (aiōnios g166)
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me has eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Verily, verily, I say unto you: He that believeth, hath life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
I am the living bread, who descended from heaven. If anyone eats from this bread, he shall live in eternity. And the bread that I will give is my flesh, for the life of the world.” (aiōn g165)
I, am the living bread, which, out of heaven, came down: If one eat of this bread, he shall live unto times age-abiding; and, the bread, moreover, which, I, will give, is, my flesh—for the world’s life. (aiōn g165)
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. (aiōnios g166)
He that feedeth upon my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath life age-abiding, and, I, will raise him up at the last day; (aiōnios g166)
This is the bread that descends from heaven. It is not like the manna that your fathers ate, for they died. Whoever eats this bread shall live forever.” (aiōn g165)
This, is the bread, which, out of heaven, came down: —Not just as your fathers did eat—and died! He that feedeth upon this bread, shall live unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
Then Simon Peter answered him: “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Simon Peter answered him—Lord! unto whom, shall we go? Declarations of life age-abiding, thou hast; (aiōnios g166)
Now the slave does not abide in the house for eternity. Yet the Son does abide in eternity. (aiōn g165)
Now, the slave, doth not abide in the house, evermore. The Son, abideth, evermore. (aiōn g165)
Amen, amen, I say to you, if anyone will have kept my word, he will not see death for eternity.” (aiōn g165)
Verily, verily, I say unto you: If anyone shall keep, my word, death, shall he not see, unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
Therefore, the Jews said: “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham is dead, and the Prophets; and yet you say, ‘If anyone will have kept my word, he shall not taste death for eternity.’ (aiōn g165)
The Jews said unto him—Now, we know that, a demon, thou hast: —Abraham, died, and, the prophets, and yet, thou, sayest: If anyone shall keep, my word, in nowise shall he taste of death, unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
From ancient times, it has not been heard that anyone has opened the eyes of someone born blind. (aiōn g165)
Out of age-past time, hath it never been heard, that anyone opened the eyes of one who, blind, had been born. (aiōn g165)
And I give them eternal life, and they shall not perish, for eternity. And no one shall seize them from my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
And, I, give unto them life age-abiding, and in nowise shall they perish, unto times age-abiding; and no one shall carry them off out of my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
And everyone who lives and believes in me shall not die for eternity. Do you believe this?” (aiōn g165)
And, no one who liveth again and believeth on me, shall in anywise die, unto times age-abiding. Believest thou this? (aiōn g165)
Whoever loves his life, will lose it. And whoever hates his life in this world, preserves it unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
He that loveth his life, loseth it; but, he that hateth his life, in this world, unto life age-abiding, shall guard it. (aiōnios g166)
The crowd answered him: “We have heard, from the law, that the Christ remains forever. And so how can you say, ‘The Son of man must be lifted up?’ Who is this Son of man?” (aiōn g165)
The multitude, therefore, answered him—We, have heard, out of the law, that, the Christ, abideth evermore; How then dost, thou, say, —It behoveth the Son of Man to be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man? (aiōn g165)
And I know that his commandment is eternal life. Therefore, the things that I speak, just as the Father has said to me, so also do I speak.” (aiōnios g166)
And I know that, his commandment, is, life age-abiding; The things, therefore, which I speak, just as the Father hath told me, so, I speak. (aiōnios g166)
Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you will have no place with me.” (aiōn g165)
Peter saith unto him—In nowise shalt thou, ever, wash my feet. Jesus answered him—If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. (aiōn g165)
And I will ask the Father, and he will give another Advocate to you, so that he may abide with you for eternity: (aiōn g165)
And, I, will request the Father, and, Another Advocate, will he give unto you, that he may be with you age-abidingly, (aiōn g165)
just as you have given authority over all flesh to him, so that he may give eternal life to all those whom you have given to him. (aiōnios g166)
Even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that, as touching whatsoever thou hast given him, he might give unto them, life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
And this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (aiōnios g166)
And, this, is the age-abiding life, That they get to know thee, the only real God, and him whom thou didst send, Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
For you will not abandon my soul to Hell, nor will you allow your Holy One to see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
Because thou wilt not abandon my soul unto hades, neither wilt thou give thy man of lovingkindness to see corruption; (Hadēs g86)
Foreseeing this, he was speaking about the Resurrection of the Christ. For he was neither left behind in Hell, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
With foresight, spake he concerning the resurrection of the Christ—that neither was he abandoned unto hades, nor did his flesh see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
whom heaven certainly must take up, until the time of the restoration of all things, which God has spoken of by the mouth of his holy prophets, from ages past. (aiōn g165)
Unto whom, indeed, heaven must needs give welcome, until the times of the due establishment of all things, of which God hath spoken through the mouth of his holy age-past prophets. (aiōn g165)
Then Paul and Barnabas said firmly: “It was necessary to speak the Word of God first to you. But because you reject it, and so judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. (aiōnios g166)
And Paul and Barnabas, speaking boldly, said—Unto you, was it necessary, that the word of God should first be spoken: seeing ye are thrusting it from you, and, unworthy, are judging yourselves of the age-abiding life, lo! we turn unto the nations; (aiōnios g166)
Then the Gentiles, upon hearing this, were gladdened, and they were glorifying the Word of the Lord. And as many as believed were preordained to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
And they of the nations, hearing [this], began to rejoice, and to be glorifying God, and they believed—as many as had become disposed for life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
To the Lord, his own work has been known from eternity. (aiōn g165)
Known from age-past times. (aiōn g165)
For unseen things about him have been made conspicuous, since the creation of the world, being understood by the things that were made; likewise his everlasting virtue and divinity, so much so that they have no excuse. (aïdios g126)
For, the unseen things of him, from a world’s creation, by the things made, being perceived, are clearly seen, even his eternal power and divinity, —to the end they should be without excuse; (aïdios g126)
And they exchanged the truth of God for a lie. And they worshipped and served the creature, rather than the Creator, who is blessed for all eternity. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Who, indeed, exchanged away the truth of God for the falsehood, and rendered worship and service unto the creature rather than unto the Creator, —who is blessed unto the ages. Amen! (aiōn g165)
To those who, in accord with patient good works, seek glory and honor and incorruption, certainly, he will render eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Unto them, on the one hand, who, by way of endurance in good work, are seeking, glory, honour and incorruption, life age-abiding, (aiōnios g166)
So then, just as sin has reigned unto death, so also may grace reign through justice unto eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
In order that—just as sin reigned in death, so, also, favour, might reign through righteousness unto life age-abiding, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Yet truly, having been freed now from sin, and having been made servants of God, you hold your fruit in sanctification, and truly its end is eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Whereas, now, having been freed from sin, and made servants unto God, ye have your fruit for sanctification and, the end, life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
For the wages of sin is death. But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
For, the wages of sin, is death; but, God’s gift of favour, is life age-abiding, in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Theirs are the fathers, and from them, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is over all things, blessed God, for all eternity. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Whose are the fathers, and of whom is the Christ—according to the flesh—he who is over all, God, blessed unto the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
“Or who shall descend into the abyss?” (that is, to call back Christ from the dead). (Abyssos g12)
Or, Who shall descend into the abyss? That is, to bring up, Christ, from among the dead; (Abyssos g12)
For God has enclosed everyone in unbelief, so that he may have mercy on everyone. (eleēsē g1653)
For God hath shut up all together, in a refusal to yield, in order that, upon all, he may bestow mercy. (eleēsē g1653)
For from him, and through him, and in him are all things. To him is glory, for all eternity. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Because, of him, and through him, and unto him, are all things: —unto him, be the glory, unto the ages. Amen! (aiōn g165)
And do not choose to be conformed to this age, but instead choose to be reformed in the newness of your mind, so that you may demonstrate what is the will of God: what is good, and what is well-pleasing, and what is perfect. (aiōn g165)
And be not configuring yourselves unto this age, but be transforming yourselves by the renewing of your mind, to the end ye may be proving what is the thing willed by God—the good and acceptable and perfect. (aiōn g165)
But to him who is able to confirm you according to my Gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, in accord with the revelation of the mystery which has been hidden from time immemorial, (aiōnios g166)
Now, unto him who hath power to establish you, according to my glad-message—even the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of a sacred secret, in age-past times kept silent, (aiōnios g166)
(which now has been made clear through the Scriptures of the Prophets, in accord with the precept of the eternal God, unto the obedience of faith) which has been made known among all the Gentiles: (aiōnios g166)
But now made manifest, and through means of prophetic scriptures, according to the command of the age-abiding God, for obedience of faith unto all the nations made known, (aiōnios g166)
to God, who alone is wise, through Jesus Christ, to him be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Unto a God, wise alone, through Jesus Christ, [unto whom] be the glory, unto the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Where are the wise? Where are the scribes? Where are the truth-seekers of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of this world into foolishness? (aiōn g165)
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn g165)
Now, we do speak wisdom among the perfect, yet truly, this is not the wisdom of this age, nor that of the leaders of this age, which shall be reduced to nothing. (aiōn g165)
Wisdom, however, we do speak, among the full-grown, —wisdom, indeed, not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are to come to nought; (aiōn g165)
Instead, we speak of the wisdom of God in a mystery which has been hidden, which God predestined before this age for our glory, (aiōn g165)
But we speak, God’s, wisdom, in a sacred secret, that hidden [wisdom], which God marked out beforehand, before the ages, for our glory, — (aiōn g165)
something that none of the leaders of this world have known. For if they had known it, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
Which, none of the rulers of this age had come to know, for, had they known, not, in that case, the Lord of the glory, would they have crucified! (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become foolish, so that he may be truly wise. (aiōn g165)
Let no one be deceiving himself: —if anyone imagineth himself to be wise among you, in this age, let him become foolish, that he may become wise; (aiōn g165)
Because of this, if food leads my brother to sin, I will never eat meat, lest I lead my brother to sin. (aiōn g165)
Therefore, if food is an occasion of stumbling unto my brother, in nowise will I eat flesh unto the age that abideth, —that, I may not occasion, my brother, to stumble. (aiōn g165)
Now all of these things happened to them as an example, and so they have been written for our correction, because the final age has fallen upon us. (aiōn g165)
But, these things, by way of type, were happening unto them, and were written with a view to our admonition, unto whom, the ends of the ages, have reached along. (aiōn g165)
“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” (Hadēs g86)
Where, O death, is thy victory? Where, O death, is thy sting? (Hadēs g86)
As for them, the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, would not shine in them. (aiōn g165)
In whom, the god of this age, hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, to the end they may not discern the radiance of the glad-message of the glory of the Christ—who is the image of God. (aiōn g165)
For though our tribulation is, at the present time, brief and light, it accomplishes in us the weight of a sublime eternal glory, beyond measure. (aiōnios g166)
For, the momentary lightness of the tribulation, in a manner yet more and more excelling, is working out for us, an age-abiding weight of glory, — (aiōnios g166)
And we are contemplating, not the things that are seen, but the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are temporal, whereas the things that are not seen are eternal. (aiōnios g166)
So long as we are not looking out for the visible things, but for the invisible; for, the visible things, are temporary, whereas, the invisible, are age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
For we know that, when our earthly house of this habitation is dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in heaven. (aiōnios g166)
For we know that—if, our earthly tent-dwelling, should be taken down, we have, a building of God, a dwelling not made by hand, age-abiding in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)
just as it was written: “He has distributed widely, he has given to the poor; his justice remains from age to age.” (aiōn g165)
Even as it is written—He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the needy, —his righteousness, abideth to futurity. (aiōn g165)
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. (aiōn g165)
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus, knoweth—He who is blessed unto the ages—that I am not speaking falsely: (aiōn g165)
who gave himself on behalf of our sins, so that he might deliver us from this present wicked age, according to the will of God our Father. (aiōn g165)
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, — (aiōn g165)
To him is glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Unto whom be the glory unto the ages of ages: Amen! (aiōn g165)
For whoever sows in his flesh, from the flesh he shall also reap corruption. But whoever sows in the Spirit, from the Spirit he shall reap eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Because, he that soweth into his own flesh, out of the flesh, shall reap corruption, whereas, he that soweth into the Spirit, out of the Spirit, shall reap age-abiding life. (aiōnios g166)
above every principality and power and virtue and dominion, and above every name that is given, not only in this age, but even in the future age. (aiōn g165)
Over-above all principality, authority, and power, and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the coming one, (aiōn g165)
in which you walked in times past, according to the age of this world, according to the prince of the power of this sky, the spirit who now works in the sons of distrust. (aiōn g165)
In which at one time ye walked, according to the age of the world, according to the prince of the authority of the air, of the spirit that now energiseth in the sons of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
so that he may display, in the ages soon to arrive, the abundant wealth of his grace, by his goodness toward us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
That he might point out, in the oncoming ages, the surpassing riches of his favour in graciousness upon us, in Christ Jesus; (aiōn g165)
and to enlighten everyone concerning the dispensation of the mystery, hidden before the ages in God who created all things, (aiōn g165)
And to bring to light—what is the administration of the sacred secret which had been hidden away from the ages in God, who did all things create: (aiōn g165)
according to that timeless purpose, which he has formed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōn g165)
According to a plan of the ages which he made in the anointed Jesus our Lord, — (aiōn g165)
to him be glory, in the Church and in Christ Jesus, throughout every generation, forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Unto him, be the glory, in the assembly, and in Christ Jesus—unto all the generations of the age of ages; Amen: — (aiōn g165)
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the directors of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places. (aiōn g165)
Because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but, against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world-holders, of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenlies. (aiōn g165)
And to God our Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Now, unto our God and Father, be the glory—unto the ages of ages. Amen! (aiōn g165)
the mystery which had remained hidden to past ages and generations, but which now is manifested to his saints. (aiōn g165)
The sacred secret which had been hidden away from the ages and from the generations, but, now, hath been made manifest unto his saints— (aiōn g165)
These shall be given the eternal punishment of destruction, apart from the face of the Lord and apart from the glory of his virtue, (aiōnios g166)
Who, indeed, a penalty, shall pay—age-abiding destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might— (aiōnios g166)
So may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us and who has given us an everlasting consolation and good hope in grace, (aiōnios g166)
But may, our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, —Who hath loved you, and given you age-abiding consolation and good hope by favour, (aiōnios g166)
But it was for this reason that I obtained mercy, so that in me as first, Christ Jesus would display all patience, for the instruction of those who would believe in him unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Nevertheless, on this account, was mercy shewn me, —that, in me, the chief, Christ Jesus might shew forth his entire longsuffering, for an ensample of them about to believe on him unto life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
So then, to the King of ages, to the immortal, invisible, solitary God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Now, unto the King of the ages, —incorruptible, invisible, alone God, be honour and glory, unto the ages of ages, Amen! (aiōn g165)
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you have been called, and make a good profession of faith in the sight of many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
Be contesting the noble contest of the faith, —lay hold of the age-abiding life—unto which thou wast called, and didst make the noble confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
who alone holds immortality, and who inhabits the inaccessible light, whom no man has seen, nor even is able to see, to whom is honor and everlasting dominion. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
Who alone hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, —Whom no man hath seen—nor can see: unto whom, be honour and might age-abiding. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
Instruct the wealthy of this age not to have a superior attitude, nor to hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who offers us everything in abundance to enjoy, (aiōn g165)
Upon them who are rich in the present age, lay thou charge—not to be high-minded, nor to have set their hope on, riches’, uncertainty, —but on God, who offereth us all things richly for enjoying, (aiōn g165)
who has freed us and has called us to his holy vocation, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the ages of time. (aiōnios g166)
Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to the peculiar purpose and favour—which was given to us in Christ Jesus before age-during times, (aiōnios g166)
I endure all things for this reason: for the sake of the elect, so that they, too, may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory. (aiōnios g166)
For this cause, am I enduring, all things, for the sake of the chosen, in order that, they also, may obtain, the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus along with glory age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
For Demas has abandoned me, out of love for this age, and he has departed for Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia; Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
For, Demas, hath forsaken me, having loved the present age, and hath journeyed unto Thessalonica; Crescens unto Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia: (aiōn g165)
The Lord has freed me from every evil work, and he will accomplish salvation by his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
The Lord will rescue me from every wicked work, and will bring me safe into his heavenly kingdom: unto whom be the glory, unto the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
in the hope of the eternal life that God, who does not lie, promised before the ages of time, (aiōnios g166)
In hope of life age-abiding; which God, who cannot lie, promised before age-during times, (aiōnios g166)
instructing us to reject impiety and worldly desires, so that we may live soberly and justly and piously in this age, (aiōn g165)
Putting us under discipline—in order that, —denying ourselves of ungodliness and worldly covetings, in a soberminded and righteous and godly manner, we should live, in the present age, (aiōn g165)
so that, having been justified by his grace, we may become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
In order that, having been declared righteous by his favour, we should be made inheritors, according to hope, of life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
So perhaps, then, he departed from you for a time, so that you might receive him again for eternity, (aiōnios g166)
For, peradventure, for this cause, was he separated for an hour, that, as an age-abiding possession, thou mightest have him back, — (aiōnios g166)
lastly, in these days, he has spoken to us through the Son, whom he appointed as the heir of all things, and through whom he made the world. (aiōn g165)
At the end of these days, He hath spoken unto us in his Son, —whom he hath appointed heir of all things, through whom also he hath made the ages; (aiōn g165)
But about the Son: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of equity. (aiōn g165)
but, as to the Son, —Thy throne, O God, is unto times age-abiding, and—A sceptre of equity, is the sceptre of his kingdom, (aiōn g165)
And similarly, he says in another place: “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn g165)
As also, in a different place, he saith—Thou, art a priest, age-abidingly, according to the rank of Melchizedek: (aiōn g165)
And having reached his consummation, he was made, for all who are obedient to him, the cause of eternal salvation, (aiōnios g166)
And, being made perfect, became, to all them that obey him, Author of salvation age-abiding; (aiōnios g166)
of the doctrine of baptism, and also of the imposition of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios g166)
Of immersions—in respect of teaching, and of the laying on of hands, of the resurrection of the dead, and of judgment age-abiding; — (aiōnios g166)
who, despite having tasted the good Word of God and the virtues of the future age, (aiōn g165)
And have tasted God’s utterance to be, sweet, mighty works also of a coming age, (aiōn g165)
to the place where the forerunner Jesus has entered on our behalf, so as to become the High Priest for eternity, according to the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
Where a forerunner in our behalf hath entered, even Jesus, who, according to the rank of Melchizedek, hath become, a high-priest unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
For he testifies: “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.” (aiōn g165)
For it is witnessed—Thou, art a priest, age-abidingly, according to the rank of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
But this man was made a priest with an oath, by the One who said to him: “The Lord has sworn and he will not repent. You are a priest forever.” (aiōn g165)
For, they, indeed, apart from oath-taking, have been made priests, but, he, with an oath-taking, through him that was saying unto him—The Lord sware, and will not regret, —Thou, art a priest, age-abidingly (aiōn g165)
But this man, because he continues forever, has an everlasting priesthood. (aiōn g165)
But, he, by reason of his remaining age-abidingly, untransmissible, holdeth, the priesthood. (aiōn g165)
For the law appoints men as priests, though they have infirmities. But, by the word of the oath that is after the law, the Son has been perfected for eternity. (aiōn g165)
For, the law, constituteth, men, high-priests, having, weakness; but, the word of the oath-taking, which cometh after the law, A Son, age-abidingly, made perfect. (aiōn g165)
entered once into the Holy of Holies, having obtained eternal redemption, neither by the blood of goats, nor of calves, but by his own blood. (aiōnios g166)
Nor yet through blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood he entered once for all into the Holy place, age-abiding redemption discovering. (aiōnios g166)
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the Holy Spirit has offered himself, immaculate, to God, cleanse our conscience from dead works, in order to serve the living God? (aiōnios g166)
How much rather shall the blood of the Christ, who through an age-abiding spirit offered himself unspotted unto God, purify our conscience from dead works, to the rendering of divine-service, unto a Living God? (aiōnios g166)
And thus he is the Mediator of the new testament, so that, by his death, he intercedes for the redemption of those transgressions which were under the former testament, so that those who have been called may receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. (aiōnios g166)
And, for this cause, of a new covenant, is he mediator, —to the end that, death coming to pass for the redemption of the transgressions against the first covenant, the called might receive the promise of the age-abiding inheritance; (aiōnios g166)
Otherwise, he would need to have suffered repeatedly since the beginning of the world. But now, one time, at the consummation of the ages, he has appeared in order to destroy sin though his own sacrifice. (aiōn g165)
Else had it been needful for him, ofttimes, to suffer, from the foundation of the world; but, now, once for all, upon a conjunction of the ages, for a setting aside of sin through means of his sacrifice, hath he been made manifest; (aiōn g165)
By faith, we understand the world to be fashioned by the Word of God, so that the visible might be made by the invisible. (aiōn g165)
By faith, we understand the ages to have been fitted together, by declaration of God, —to the end that, not out of things appearing, should that which is seen, have come into existence. (aiōn g165)
Jesus Christ, yesterday and today; Jesus Christ forever. (aiōn g165)
Jesus Christ, yesterday, and to-day, is the same, —and unto the ages. (aiōn g165)
Then may the God of peace, who led back from the dead that great Pastor of sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ, with the blood of the eternal testament, (aiōnios g166)
But, the God of peace, He that led up from among the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep, with the blood of an age-abiding covenant, —our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
equip you with all goodness, so that you may do his will. May he accomplish in you whatever is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Fit you, by every good work, for the doing of his will, doing within us, that which is well-pleasing, before him through Jesus Christ: to whom be the glory, unto the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
And so the tongue is like a fire, comprising all iniquity. The tongue, stationed in the midst of our body, can defile the entire body and inflame the wheel of our nativity, setting a fire from Hell. (Geenna g1067)
And, the tongue, is a fire, —[as], the world of unrighteousness, the tongue, becometh fixed among our members, that which defileth the whole body and setteth on fire the wheel of our natural life, and is set on fire, by gehenna! (Geenna g1067)
For you have been born again, not from corruptible seed, but from what is incorruptible, from the Word of God, living and remaining for all eternity. (aiōn g165)
Having been regenerated—Not out of corruptible seed, but incorruptible—through means of the word of a Living and Abiding God; (aiōn g165)
But the Word of the Lord endures for eternity. And this is the Word that has been evangelized to you. (aiōn g165)
But the declaration of the Lord age-abidingly remaineth; And, this, is a declaration which in the joyful message hath been announced unto you. (aiōn g165)
When anyone speaks, it should be like words of God. When anyone ministers, it should be from the virtue that God provides, so that in all things God may be honored through Jesus Christ. To him is glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
If any one speaketh, as oracles of God, if any one ministereth, as of strength which, God, supplieth, —that, in all things, God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, —unto whom are the glory and the dominion, unto the ages of ages. Amen! (aiōn g165)
But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will himself perfect, confirm, and establish us, after a brief time of suffering. (aiōnios g166)
Howbeit, the God of all favour—who hath called you unto his age-abiding glory in Christ—when, for a little, ye have suffered, Himself, will adjust, confirm, strengthen: — (aiōnios g166)
To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Unto him, be the dominion, unto the ages. Amen! (aiōn g165)
For in this way, you shall be provided abundantly with an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
For, thus, shall richly be further supplied unto you—the entrance into the age-abiding kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
For God did not spare those Angels who sinned, but instead delivered them, as if dragged down by infernal ropes, into the torments of the underworld, to be reserved unto judgment. (Tartaroō g5020)
For—if, God, spared not, messengers, when they sinned, but, to pits of gloom, consigning them, in the lowest hades, delivered them up to be kept, unto judgment, — (Tartaroō g5020)

And, the world, passeth away, and the coveting [thereof], but, he that doeth the will of God, endureth unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
And this is the Promise, which he himself has promised to us: Eternal Life. (aiōnios g166)
