Joshua 16
1 Similarly, the lot of the sons of Joseph fell from the Jordan, opposite Jericho and its waters, to the east, to the wilderness that ascends from Jericho to the mountain of Bethel.

2 And it goes out from Bethel to Luz. And it crosses the border of Archi to Ataroth.
Giới hạn băng từ Bê-tên đến Lu-xơ, đi qua bờ cõi dân A-rê-kít tại A-ta-sốt;
3 And it descends to the west, beside the border of Japhleti, as far as the borders of lower Beth-horon, and to Gezer. And the last parts of its regions are by the great sea.
kế chạy xuống hướng tây về phía bờ cõi dân Giáp-lê-tít, cho đến bờ cõi Bết-Hô-rôn dưới và Ghê-xe, rồi giáp biển.
4 And Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons of Joseph, possessed it.
Aáy là tại đó mà con cháu của Giô-sép, Ma-na-se và Eùp-ra-im, lãnh phần sản nghiệp mình.
5 And the border of the sons of Ephraim was made by their families. And their possession toward the east was from Ataroth-addar, as far as upper Beth-horon,
Này là giới hạn của Eùp-ra-im, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng. Giới hạn của sản nghiệp họ ở về phía đông, từ A-tê-rốt-A-đa cho đến Bết-Hô-rôn trên,
6 and the confines extend to the sea. Yet truly, Michmethath looks toward the north, and it circles around the borders, toward the east, into Taanath-shiloh. And it continues on, from the east, to Janoah.
thẳng qua tây tại hướng bắc của Mít-mê-thát; rồi vòng qua đông về lối Tha-a-nát-Si-lô, và qua khỏi đó đến Gia-nô-ách theo phía đông;
7 And it descends from Janoah to Ataroth and Naarah. and it continues to Jericho, and it extends to the Jordan.
kế chạy từ Gia-nô-ách xuống A-ta-rốt và Na-ra-tha, đụng Giê-ri-cô, rồi giáp sông Giô-đanh.
8 From Tappuah, it passes on, opposite the sea, into the Valley of Reeds. And its exit is at the very salty sea. This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, by their families.
Từ Tháp-bu-ách giới hạn đi về hướng tây đến khe Ca-na, rồi giáp biển. Đó là sản nghiệp của chi phái Eùp-ra-im, tùy theo những họ hàng của chúng.
9 And there were cities, with their villages, which were set aside for the sons of Ephraim, in the midst of the possession of the sons of Manasseh.
Người Eùp-ra-im cũng có những thành và làng riêng ra giữa sản nghiệp của người Ma-na-se.
10 And the sons of Ephraim did not put to death the Canaanite that was living at Gezer. And the Canaanite lived in the midst of Ephraim, even to this day, paying tribute.
Song họ không đuổi được dân Ca-na-an ở tại Ghê-xe; nên dân Ca-na-an ở giữa Eùp-ra-im cho đến ngày nay, nhưng phải nộp thuế.
