John 5
1 After these things, there was a feast day of the Jews, and so Jesus ascended to Jerusalem.
১ততঃ পৰং যিহূদীযানাম্ উৎসৱ উপস্থিতে যীশু ৰ্যিৰূশালমং গতৱান্|
2 Now at Jerusalem is the Pool of Evidence, which in Hebrew is known as the Place of Mercy; it has five porticos.
২তস্মিন্নগৰে মেষনাম্নো দ্ৱাৰস্য সমীপে ইব্ৰীযভাষযা বৈথেস্দা নাম্না পিষ্কৰিণী পঞ্চঘট্টযুক্তাসীৎ|
3 Along these lay a great multitude of the sick, the blind, the lame, and the withered, waiting for the movement of the water.
৩তস্যাস্তেষু ঘট্টেষু কিলালকম্পনম্ অপেক্ষ্য অন্ধখঞ্চশুষ্কাঙ্গাদযো বহৱো ৰোগিণঃ পতন্তস্তিষ্ঠন্তি স্ম|
4 Now at times an Angel of the Lord would descend into the pool, and so the water was moved. And whoever descended first into the pool, after the motion of the water, he was healed of whatever infirmity held him.
৪যতো ৱিশেষকালে তস্য সৰসো ৱাৰি স্ৱৰ্গীযদূত এত্যাকম্পযৎ তৎকীলালকম্পনাৎ পৰং যঃ কশ্চিদ্ ৰোগী প্ৰথমং পানীযমৱাৰোহৎ স এৱ তৎক্ষণাদ্ ৰোগমুক্তোঽভৱৎ|
5 And there was a certain man in that place, having been in his infirmity for thirty-eight years.
৫তদাষ্টাত্ৰিংশদ্ৱৰ্ষাণি যাৱদ্ ৰোগগ্ৰস্ত একজনস্তস্মিন্ স্থানে স্থিতৱান্|
6 Then, when Jesus had seen him reclining, and when he realized that he had been afflicted for a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”
৬যীশুস্তং শযিতং দৃষ্ট্ৱা বহুকালিকৰোগীতি জ্ঞাৎৱা ৱ্যাহৃতৱান্ ৎৱং কিং স্ৱস্থো বুভূষসি?
7 The invalid answered him: “Lord, I do not have any man to put me in the pool, when the water has been stirred. For as I am going, another descends ahead of me.”
৭ততো ৰোগী কথিতৱান্ হে মহেচ্ছ যদা কীলালং কম্পতে তদা মাং পুষ্কৰিণীম্ অৱৰোহযিতুং মম কোপি নাস্তি, তস্মান্ মম গমনকালে কশ্চিদন্যোঽগ্ৰো গৎৱা অৱৰোহতি|
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your stretcher, and walk.”
৮তদা যীশুৰকথযদ্ উত্তিষ্ঠ, তৱ শয্যামুত্তোল্য গৃহীৎৱা যাহি|
9 And immediately the man was healed. And he took up his stretcher and walked. Now this day was the Sabbath.
৯স তৎক্ষণাৎ স্ৱস্থো ভূৎৱা শয্যামুত্তোল্যাদায গতৱান্ কিন্তু তদ্দিনং ৱিশ্ৰামৱাৰঃ|
10 Therefore, the Jews said to the one who had been healed: “It is the Sabbath. It is not lawful for you to take up your stretcher.”
১০তস্মাদ্ যিহূদীযাঃ স্ৱস্থং নৰং ৱ্যাহৰন্ অদ্য ৱিশ্ৰামৱাৰে শযনীযমাদায ন যাতৱ্যম্|
11 He answered them, “The one who healed me, he said to me, ‘Take up your stretcher and walk.’”
১১ততঃ স প্ৰত্যৱোচদ্ যো মাং স্ৱস্থম্ অকাৰ্ষীৎ শযনীযম্ উত্তোল্যাদায যাতুং মাং স এৱাদিশৎ|
12 Therefore, they questioned him, “Who is that man, who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk?’”
১২তদা তেঽপৃচ্ছন্ শযনীযম্ উত্তোল্যাদায যাতুং য আজ্ঞাপযৎ স কঃ?
13 But the one who had been given health did not know who it was. For Jesus had turned aside from the crowd gathered in that place.
১৩কিন্তু স ক ইতি স্ৱস্থীভূতো নাজানাদ্ যতস্তস্মিন্ স্থানে জনতাসত্ত্ৱাদ্ যীশুঃ স্থানান্তৰম্ আগমৎ|
14 Afterwards, Jesus found him in the temple, and he said to him: “Behold, you have been healed. Do not choose to sin further, otherwise something worse may happen to you.”
১৪ততঃ পৰং যেশু ৰ্মন্দিৰে তং নৰং সাক্ষাৎপ্ৰাপ্যাকথযৎ পশ্যেদানীম্ অনামযো জাতোসি যথাধিকা দুৰ্দশা ন ঘটতে তদ্ধেতোঃ পাপং কৰ্ম্ম পুনৰ্মাকাৰ্ষীঃ|
15 This man went away, and he reported to the Jews that it was Jesus who had given him health.
১৫ততঃ স গৎৱা যিহূদীযান্ অৱদদ্ যীশু ৰ্মাম্ অৰোগিণম্ অকাৰ্ষীৎ|
16 Because of this, the Jews were persecuting Jesus, for he was doing these things on the Sabbath.
১৬ততো যীশু ৰ্ৱিশ্ৰামৱাৰে কৰ্ম্মেদৃশং কৃতৱান্ ইতি হেতো ৰ্যিহূদীযাস্তং তাডযিৎৱা হন্তুম্ অচেষ্টন্ত|
17 But Jesus answered them, “Even now, my Father is working, and I am working.”
১৭যীশুস্তানাখ্যৎ মম পিতা যৎ কাৰ্য্যং কৰোতি তদনুৰূপম্ অহমপি কৰোতি|
18 And so, because of this, the Jews were seeking to kill him even more so. For not only did he break the Sabbath, but he even said that God was his Father, making himself equal to God.
১৮ততো যিহূদীযাস্তং হন্তুং পুনৰযতন্ত যতো ৱিশ্ৰামৱাৰং নামন্যত তদেৱ কেৱলং ন অধিকন্তু ঈশ্ৱৰং স্ৱপিতৰং প্ৰোচ্য স্ৱমপীশ্ৱৰতুল্যং কৃতৱান্|
19 Then Jesus responded and said to them: “Amen, amen, I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything of himself, but only what he has seen the Father doing. For whatever he does, even this does the Son do, similarly.
১৯পশ্চাদ্ যীশুৰৱদদ্ যুষ্মানহং যথাৰ্থতৰং ৱদামি পুত্ৰঃ পিতৰং যদ্যৎ কৰ্ম্ম কুৰ্ৱ্ৱন্তং পশ্যতি তদতিৰিক্তং স্ৱেচ্ছাতঃ কিমপি কৰ্ম্ম কৰ্ত্তুং ন শক্নোতি| পিতা যৎ কৰোতি পুত্ৰোপি তদেৱ কৰোতি|
20 For the Father loves the Son, and he shows him all that he himself does. And greater works than these will he show him, so much so that you shall wonder.
২০পিতা পুত্ৰে স্নেহং কৰোতি তস্মাৎ স্ৱযং যদ্যৎ কৰ্ম্ম কৰোতি তৎসৰ্ৱ্ৱং পুত্ৰং দৰ্শযতি; যথা চ যুষ্মাকং আশ্চৰ্য্যজ্ঞানং জনিষ্যতে তদৰ্থম্ ইতোপি মহাকৰ্ম্ম তং দৰ্শযিষ্যতি|
21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, so also does the Son give life to whomever he wills.
২১ৱস্তুতস্তু পিতা যথা প্ৰমিতান্ উত্থাপ্য সজিৱান্ কৰোতি তদ্ৱৎ পুত্ৰোপি যং যং ইচ্ছতি তং তং সজীৱং কৰোতি|
22 For the Father does not judge anyone. But he has given all judgment to the Son,
২২সৰ্ৱ্ৱে পিতৰং যথা সৎকুৰ্ৱ্ৱন্তি তথা পুত্ৰমপি সৎকাৰযিতুং পিতা স্ৱযং কস্যাপি ৱিচাৰমকৃৎৱা সৰ্ৱ্ৱৱিচাৰাণাং ভাৰং পুত্ৰে সমৰ্পিতৱান্|
23 so that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son, does not honor the Father who sent him.
২৩যঃ পুত্ৰং সৎ কৰোতি স তস্য প্ৰেৰকমপি সৎ কৰোতি|
24 Amen, amen, I say to you, that whoever hears my word, and believes in him who sent me, has eternal life, and he does not go into judgment, but instead he crosses from death into life. (aiōnios g166)
২৪যুষ্মানাহং যথাৰ্থতৰং ৱদামি যো জনো মম ৱাক্যং শ্ৰুৎৱা মৎপ্ৰেৰকে ৱিশ্ৱসিতি সোনন্তাযুঃ প্ৰাপ্নোতি কদাপি দণ্ডবাজনং ন ভৱতি নিধনাদুত্থায পৰমাযুঃ প্ৰাপ্নোতি| (aiōnios g166)
25 Amen, amen, I say to you, that the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear it shall live.
২৫অহং যুষ্মানতিযথাৰ্থং ৱদামি যদা মৃতা ঈশ্ৱৰপুত্ৰস্য নিনাদং শ্ৰোষ্যন্তি যে চ শ্ৰোষ্যন্তি তে সজীৱা ভৱিষ্যন্তি সময এতাদৃশ আযাতি ৱৰম্ ইদানীমপ্যুপতিষ্ঠতি|
26 For just as the Father has life in himself, so also has he granted to the Son to have life in himself.
২৬পিতা যথা স্ৱযঞ্জীৱী তথা পুত্ৰায স্ৱযঞ্জীৱিৎৱাধিকাৰং দত্তৱান্|
27 And he has given him the authority to accomplish judgment. For he is the Son of man.
২৭স মনুষ্যপুত্ৰঃ এতস্মাৎ কাৰণাৎ পিতা দণ্ডকৰণাধিকাৰমপি তস্মিন্ সমৰ্পিতৱান্|
28 Do not be amazed at this. For the hour is coming in which all who are in the grave shall hear the voice of the Son of God.
২৮এতদৰ্থে যূযম্ আশ্চৰ্য্যং ন মন্যধ্ৱং যতো যস্মিন্ সমযে তস্য নিনাদং শ্ৰুৎৱা শ্মশানস্থাঃ সৰ্ৱ্ৱে বহিৰাগমিষ্যন্তি সময এতাদৃশ উপস্থাস্যতি|
29 And those who have done good shall go forth to the resurrection of life. Yet truly, those who have done evil shall go to the resurrection of judgment.
২৯তস্মাদ্ যে সৎকৰ্ম্মাণি কৃতৱন্তস্ত উত্থায আযুঃ প্ৰাপ্স্যন্তি যে চ কুকৰ্মাণি কৃতৱন্তস্ত উত্থায দণ্ডং প্ৰাপ্স্যন্তি|
30 I am not able to do anything of myself. As I hear, so do I judge. And my judgment is just. For I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.
৩০অহং স্ৱযং কিমপি কৰ্ত্তুং ন শক্নোমি যথা শুণোমি তথা ৱিচাৰযামি মম ৱিচাৰঞ্চ ন্যায্যঃ যতোহং স্ৱীযাভীষ্টং নেহিৎৱা মৎপ্ৰেৰযিতুঃ পিতুৰিষ্টম্ ঈহে|
31 If I offer testimony about myself, my testimony is not true.
৩১যদি স্ৱস্মিন্ স্ৱযং সাক্ষ্যং দদামি তৰ্হি তৎসাক্ষ্যম্ আগ্ৰাহ্যং ভৱতি;
32 There is another who offers testimony about me, and I know that the testimony which he offers about me is true.
৩২কিন্তু মদৰ্থেঽপৰো জনঃ সাক্ষ্যং দদাতি মদৰ্থে তস্য যৎ সাক্ষ্যং তৎ সত্যম্ এতদপ্যহং জানামি|
33 You sent to John, and he offered testimony to the truth.
৩৩যুষ্মাভি ৰ্যোহনং প্ৰতি লোকেষু প্ৰেৰিতেষু স সত্যকথাযাং সাক্ষ্যমদদাৎ|
34 But I do not accept testimony from man. Instead, I say these things, so that you may be saved.
৩৪মানুষাদহং সাক্ষ্যং নোপেক্ষে তথাপি যূযং যথা পৰিত্ৰযধ্ৱে তদৰ্থম্ ইদং ৱাক্যং ৱদামি|
35 He was a burning and shining light. So you were willing, at the time, to exult in his light.
৩৫যোহন্ দেদীপ্যমানো দীপ ইৱ তেজস্ৱী স্থিতৱান্ যূযম্ অল্পকালং তস্য দীপ্ত্যানন্দিতুং সমমন্যধ্ৱং|
36 But I hold a greater testimony than that of John. For the works which the Father has given to me, so that I may complete them, these works themselves that I do, offer testimony about me: that the Father has sent me.
৩৬কিন্তু তৎপ্ৰমাণাদপি মম গুৰুতৰং প্ৰমাণং ৱিদ্যতে পিতা মাং প্ৰেষ্য যদ্যৎ কৰ্ম্ম সমাপযিতুং শক্ত্তিমদদাৎ মযা কৃতং তত্তৎ কৰ্ম্ম মদৰ্থে প্ৰমাণং দদাতি|
37 And the Father who has sent me has himself offered testimony about me. And you have never heard his voice, nor have you beheld his appearance.
৩৭যঃ পিতা মাং প্ৰেৰিতৱান্ মোপি মদৰ্থে প্ৰমাণং দদাতি| তস্য ৱাক্যং যুষ্মাভিঃ কদাপি ন শ্ৰুতং তস্য ৰূপঞ্চ ন দৃষ্টং
38 And you do not have his word abiding in you. For the one whom he sent, the same you would not believe.
৩৮তস্য ৱাক্যঞ্চ যুষ্মাকম্ অন্তঃ কদাপি স্থানং নাপ্নোতি যতঃ স যং প্ৰেষিতৱান্ যূযং তস্মিন্ ন ৱিশ্ৱসিথ|
39 Study the Scriptures. For you think that in them you have eternal life. And yet they also offer testimony about me. (aiōnios g166)
৩৯ধৰ্ম্মপুস্তকানি যূযম্ আলোচযধ্ৱং তৈ ৰ্ৱাক্যৈৰনন্তাযুঃ প্ৰাপ্স্যাম ইতি যূযং বুধ্যধ্ৱে তদ্ধৰ্ম্মপুস্তকানি মদৰ্থে প্ৰমাণং দদতি| (aiōnios g166)
40 And you are not willing to come to me, so that you may have life.
৪০তথাপি যূযং পৰমাযুঃপ্ৰাপ্তযে মম সংনিধিম্ ন জিগমিষথ|
41 I do not accept glory from men.
৪১অহং মানুষেভ্যঃ সৎকাৰং ন গৃহ্লামি|
42 But I know you, that you do not have the love of God within you.
৪২অহং যুষ্মান্ জানামি; যুষ্মাকমন্তৰ ঈশ্ৱৰপ্ৰেম নাস্তি|
43 I have come in the name of my Father, and you do not accept me. If another will arrive in his own name, him you will accept.
৪৩অহং নিজপিতু ৰ্নাম্নাগতোস্মি তথাপি মাং ন গৃহ্লীথ কিন্তু কশ্চিদ্ যদি স্ৱনাম্না সমাগমিষ্যতি তৰ্হি তং গ্ৰহীষ্যথ|
44 How are you able to believe, you who accept glory from one another and yet do not seek the glory that is from God alone?
৪৪যূযম্ ঈশ্ৱৰাৎ সৎকাৰং ন চিষ্টৎৱা কেৱলং পৰস্পৰং সৎকাৰম্ চেদ্ আদধ্ৱ্ৱে তৰ্হি কথং ৱিশ্ৱসিতুং শক্নুথ?
45 Do not consider that I might accuse you with the Father. There is one who accuses you, Moses, in whom you hope.
৪৫পুতুঃ সমীপেঽহং যুষ্মান্ অপৱদিষ্যামীতি মা চিন্তযত যস্মিন্, যস্মিন্ যুষ্মাকং ৱিশ্ৱসঃ সএৱ মূসা যুষ্মান্ অপৱদতি|
46 For if you were believing in Moses, perhaps you would believe in me also. For he wrote about me.
৪৬যদি যূযং তস্মিন্ ৱ্যশ্ৱসিষ্যত তৰ্হি ময্যপি ৱ্যশ্ৱসিষ্যত, যৎ স মযি লিখিতৱান্|
47 But if you do not believe by his writings, how will you believe by my words?”
৪৭ততো যদি তেন লিখিতৱানি ন প্ৰতিথ তৰ্হি মম ৱাক্যানি কথং প্ৰত্যেষ্যথ?
