Job 18
1 But Baldad the Suhite responded by saying:
അപ്പോൾ ശൂഹ്യനായ ബിൽദാദ് ഇങ്ങനെ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു:
2 How long will you throw around words? Understand first, and then let us speak.
“നിങ്ങൾ എപ്പോഴാണ് ഈ പ്രഭാഷണം ഒന്നു നിർത്തുന്നത്? വിവേകികളാകുക; പിന്നെ നമുക്കു സംസാരിക്കാം.
3 Why have we been treated like mules, as if we were unworthy before you?
ഞങ്ങളെ കന്നുകാലികളായി പരിഗണിക്കുന്നത് എന്തിന്? നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ അത്രയ്ക്കു മഠയന്മാരോ?
4 You, who ruins your own soul in your fury, will the earth be forsaken because of you, and will the cliffs be moved from their place?
കലിതുള്ളി സ്വയം കടിച്ചുകീറുന്നവനേ, നിനക്കുവേണ്ടി ഭൂമി നിർജനമായിത്തീരണമോ? അതോ, പാറ അതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നു മാറ്റപ്പെടണമോ?
5 Will not the light of the impious be put out, and the flame of his fire refuse to shine?
“ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വിളക്ക് അണഞ്ഞുപോകും; അവരുടെ അഗ്നിജ്വാല പ്രകാശം തരികയില്ല.
6 Light will become darkness in his tabernacle, and the lamp that is over him will be extinguished.
അവരുടെ കൂടാരത്തിലെ വെളിച്ചം ഇരുണ്ടുപോകും; അവരുടെ അരികത്തുള്ള വിളക്ക് കെട്ടുപോകും.
7 His strong steps will be constrained, and his own counsel will cast him down uncontrollably.
അവരുടെ കാലടികളുടെ ചുറുചുറുക്കു ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ പദ്ധതികൾതന്നെ അവർക്കു പതനഹേതുവായിരിക്കുന്നു.
8 For he has caused his own feet to go into a net, and he has walked into its web.
അവർ സ്വയം കെണിയിലേക്കു നടക്കുന്നു; അവർ ചതിക്കുഴിയിലേക്കുതന്നെ വീഴുന്നു.
9 His heel will be held in a snare, and thirst will rage against him.
അവരുടെ കുതികാലിൽ കുരുക്കുവീഴുന്നു, കെണി അവരെ വരിഞ്ഞുമുറുക്കുന്നു.
10 A trap has been hidden for him in the earth, and a decoy, along his path.
അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി നിലത്ത് കുടുക്കും വഴിയിൽ വലയും ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
11 Horrifying things will terrify him everywhere and will entangle his feet.
എല്ലായിടത്തുനിന്നുമുള്ള ഭീതികൾ അവരെ ഭയവിഹ്വലരാക്കുകയും ഓരോ കാൽവെപ്പിലും അവരെ വേട്ടയാടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
12 Let his strength be diminished by famine, and let starvation invade his ribs.
ദുരന്തം അവർക്കായി ബുഭുക്ഷയോടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; വിനാശം അവരുടെ പതനത്തിനു കാത്തുനിൽക്കുന്നു.
13 Let it devour the beauty of his skin; let the ancient death consume his arms.
അത് അവരുടെ ത്വക്കിനെ തിന്നുനശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; മരണത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ അവരുടെ അവയവങ്ങൾ വിഴുങ്ങുന്നു.
14 Let his confidence be torn away from his tabernacle, and let ruin trample over him like a king.
അവർക്ക് ആശ്രയമായിരുന്ന കൂടാരത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവർ പിഴുതെറിയപ്പെടും; ഭീകരതയുടെ രാജാവിൻ സമീപത്തേക്ക് അവർ ആനയിക്കപ്പെടും.
15 Let the companions of he who is not, dwell in his tabernacle; let brimstone rain down upon his tabernacle.
അവരുടെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ അഗ്നി കുടിപാർക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തിന്മേൽ ഗന്ധകം വർഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
16 Let his roots be dried up from beneath him, and his harvest be crushed from above.
കീഴേയുള്ള അവരുടെ വേരുകൾ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു, മീതേ അവരുടെ ശാഖകൾ കരിയുന്നു.
17 Let the memory of him perish from the earth, and let not his name be celebrated in the streets.
ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്ന് അവരുടെ സ്മരണ തുടച്ചുനീക്കപ്പെടും; ദേശത്ത് അവരുടെ പേര് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല.
18 He will expel him from light into darkness, and he will remove him from the world.
അവരെ വെളിച്ചത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഇരുളിലേക്കു തുരത്തിയോടിക്കും; അവരെ ഭൂതലത്തിൽനിന്നുതന്നെ നാടുകടത്തും.
19 Neither his offspring, nor his descendants, will exist among his people, nor will there be any remnants in his country.
അവരുടെ സമൂഹത്തിൽത്തന്നെ അവർക്കു സന്തതിയോ പിൻഗാമികളോ ഇല്ലാതായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ മുമ്പു വസിച്ചിരുന്നിടത്ത് ആരും അവശേഷിക്കുന്നില്ല.
20 The last will be astonished at his day, and the first will be overcome with horror.
പശ്ചിമദേശക്കാർ അവരുടെ വിധി കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിക്കും; പൂർവദേശക്കാർ നടുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.
21 And so, these are the tabernacles of the sinful, and this the place of he who does not know God.
നിശ്ചയമായും അധർമികളുടെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ ഗതി ഈ വിധമാകുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ അറിയാത്തവരുടെ സ്ഥലവും ഇപ്രകാരംതന്നെ.”
