Isaiah 25
1 O Lord, you are my God! I will exalt you, and I will confess your name. For you have accomplished miracles. Your plan, from antiquity, is faithful. Amen.
੧ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਡਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹਾਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ!
2 For you have appointed a city as a tomb, a strong city for ruination, a house of foreigners: so that it may not be a city, and so that it may not be rebuilt forever.
੨ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਲਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਡਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਦੇਸੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਹਿਲ ਹੁਣ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਫੇਰ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
3 Concerning this, a strong people will praise you; a city with a robust people will fear you.
੩ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਡਰਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਗਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਡਰੇਗਾ।
4 For you have been the strength of the poor, the strength of the indigent in his tribulation, a refuge from the whirlwind, a shadow from the heat. For the spirit of the mighty is like a whirlwind striking against a wall.
੪ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਲਈ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੋਇਆ, ਕੰਗਾਲ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਗੜ੍ਹ, ਵਾਛੜ ਤੋਂ ਪਨਾਹ, ਗਰਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਯਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਡਰਾਉਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਫੂਕ ਕੰਧ ਉੱਪਰ ਦੀ ਵਾਛੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੈ।
5 You will bring low the uprising of foreigners, just as heat brings thirst. And like heat under a torrential cloud, you will cause the offshoot of the strong to wither away.
੫ਸੁੱਕੇ ਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਰਮੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਦੇਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰੌਲ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਗਰਮੀ ਬੱਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਨਾਲ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਾਲਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ ਧੀਮਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
6 And the Lord of hosts will cause all the peoples on this mountain to feast on fatness, to feast on wine, a fatness full of marrow, a purified wine.
੬ਇਸੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੇ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਵਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਮਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਵਤ, ਗੁੱਦੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਮੋਟੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ, ਛਾਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਮਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਵਤ।
7 And he will cast down violently, on this mountain, the face of the chains, with which all peoples had been bound, and the net, with which all nations had been covered.
੭ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਪੜਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਪੜਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਕੱਜਣ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਟਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
8 He will violently cast down death forever. And the Lord God will take away the tears from every face, and he will take away the disgrace of his people from the entire earth. For the Lord has spoken it.
੮ਉਹ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਨਿਗਲ ਲਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੰਝੂ ਪੂੰਝ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੀ ਬਦਨਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
9 And they will say in that day: “Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us. This is the Lord! We have endured for him. We will exult and rejoice in his salvation.”
੯ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਇਹ ਸਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਸੀ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ - ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਸੀ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਈਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰੀਏ।
10 For the hand of the Lord will rest upon this mountain. And Moab will be trampled under him, just as stubble is worn away by a wagon.
੧੦ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਇਸ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਠਹਿਰੇਗਾ, ਮੋਆਬ ਆਪਣੇ ਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿੱਧਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੜੀ ਰੂੜੀ ਦੇ ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ,
11 And he will extend his hands under him, like a swimmer extending his hands to swim. And he will bring down his glory with a clap of his hands.
੧੧ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੈਰਾਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੈਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਮੰਡ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
12 And the fortifications of your sublime walls will fall, and be brought low, and be torn down to the ground, even to the dust.
੧੨ਸ਼ਹਿਰਪਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਬੁਰਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਝੁਕਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਨੀਵਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੱਕ ਸਗੋਂ ਖ਼ਾਕ ਤੱਕ ਲਾਹ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
