Genesis 5
1 This is the book of the lineage of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him to the likeness of God.
Este es el libro de los descendientes de Adán. El día en que Dios creó a Adán, lo hizo a imagen de Dios.
2 He created them, male and female; and he blessed them. And he called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Los creó varón y mujer y los bendijo: y los llamó “hombre” en el día de su creación.
3 Then Adam lived for one hundred and thirty years. And then he conceived a son in his own image and likeness, and he called his name Seth.
Tenía Adán ciento treinta años cuando engendró un hijo a su semejanza, según su imagen, al cual puso por nombre Set.
4 And after he conceived Seth, the days of Adam that passed were eight hundred years. And he conceived sons and daughters.
Fueron los días de Adán, después de engendrar a Set, ochocientos años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
5 And all the time that passed while Adam lived was nine hundred and thirty years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días que vivió Adán novecientos treinta años, y murió.
6 Seth likewise lived for one hundred and five years, and then he conceived Enos.
Set tenía ciento cinco años cuando engendró a Enós.
7 And after he conceived Enos, Seth lived for eight hundred and seven years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Y vivió Set, después de engendrar a Enós, ochocientos siete años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
8 And all the days of Seth that passed were nine hundred and twelve years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días de Set novecientos doce años, y murió.
9 In truth, Enos lived ninety years, and then he conceived Cainan.
Enós tenía noventa años cuando engendró a Cainán.
10 After his birth, he lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Vivió Enós, después de engendrar a Cainán, ochocientos quince años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
11 And all the days of Enos that passed were nine hundred and five years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días de Enós novecientos cinco años, y murió.
12 Likewise, Cainan lived seventy years, and then he conceived Mahalalel.
Cainán tenía setenta años cuando engendró a Mahalalel.
13 And after he conceived Mahalalel, Cainan lived for eight hundred and forty years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Vivió Cainán, después de haber engendrado a Mahalalel, ochocientos cuarenta años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
14 And all the days of Cainan that passed were nine hundred and ten years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días de Cainán novecientos diez años, y murió.
15 And Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and then he conceived Jared.
Mahalalel tenía sesenta y cinco años, cuando engendró a Yared.
16 And after he conceived Jared, Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and thirty years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Vivió Mahalalel, después de engendrar a Yared, ochocientos treinta años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
17 And all the days of Mahalalel that passed were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días de Mahalalel ochocientos noventa y cinco años, y murió.
18 And Jared lived for one hundred and sixty-two years, and then he conceived Enoch.
Yared tenía ciento sesenta y dos años cuando engendró a Enoc.
19 And after he conceived Enoch, Jared lived for eight hundred years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Vivió Yared, después de engendrar a Enoc, ochocientos años y engendró hijos e hijas.
20 And all the days of Jared that passed were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días de Yared novecientos sesenta y dos años, y murió.
21 Now Enoch lived for sixty-five years, and then he conceived Methuselah.
Enoc tenía sesenta y cinco años cuando engendró a Matusalén.
22 And Enoch walked with God. And after he conceived Methuselah, he lived for three hundred years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Anduvo Enoc con Dios, (viviendo) después de engendrar a Matusalén, trescientos años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
23 And all the days of Enoch that passed were three hundred and sixty-five years.
Y fueron todos los días de Enoc trescientos sesenta y cinco años.
24 And he walked with God, and then he was seen no more, because God took him.
Enoc anduvo con Dios, y desapareció porque Dios se lo llevó.
25 Likewise, Methuselah lived for one hundred and eighty-seven years, and then he conceived Lamech.
Matusalén tenía ciento ochenta y siete años cuando engendró a Lamec.
26 And after he conceived Lamech, Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Vivió Matusalén, después de engendrar a Lamec, setecientos ochenta y dos años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
27 And all the days of Methuselah that passed were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días de Matusalén novecientos sesenta y nueve años, y murió.
28 Then Lamech lived for one hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived a son.
Lamec tenía ciento ochenta y dos años, cuando engendró un hijo,
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will console us from the works and hardships of our hands, in the land that the Lord has cursed.”
al cual puso por nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos consolará de nuestras fatigas y del trabajo de nuestras manos, causado por la tierra que maldijo Yahvé.
30 And after he conceived Noah, Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years, and he conceived sons and daughters.
Vivió Lamec, después de engendrar a Noé, quinientos noventa y cinco años, y engendró hijos e hijas.
31 And all the days of Lamech that passed were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and then he died.
Y fueron todos los días de Lamec setecientos setenta y siete años, y murió. Noé tenía quinientos años, cuando engendró a Sem, Cam y Jafet.
32 In truth, when Noah was five hundred years old, he conceived Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
