Ezekiel 32
1 And it happened that, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
Am ersten Tag des zwölften Monds im Jahre zwölf erging das Wort des Herrn an mich:
2 “Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him: You are like the lion of the Gentiles, and like the dragon that is in the sea. And you brandished a horn among your rivers, and you disturbed the waters with your feet, and you trampled upon their rivers.
"Klag, Menschensohn! Ein Klagelied stimm an auf Pharao, Ägyptens König, und sprich zu ihm: 'Du hieltest dich für einen Jungleu bei den Heiden und bist doch wie die Drachen in den Meeren. Du stürztest dich in deine Ströme und trübtest das Gewässer mit den Füßen und wühltest seine Strömung auf.'
3 Because of this, thus says the Lord God: I will spread my net over you, with the multitude of many peoples, and I will draw you into my dragnet.
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Ich breite über dich mein Netz in einer Schar von vielen Völkern, daß sie dich in meinem Garne in die Höhe ziehen.
4 And I will throw you upon the land. I will cast you upon the surface of the field. And I will cause all the birds of the air to live upon you. And I will satiate the beasts of the entire earth with you.
Dann werfe ich dich auf das Land und strecke dich aufs freie Feld, so lang du bist, und lasse alle Vögel des Himmels auf dir weilen und sich an dir das Wild der ganzen Erde sättigen.
5 And I will place your flesh upon the mountains. And I will fill up your hills with your decaying flesh.
Dein Fleisch verstreu ich auf den Bergen überall und fülle Täler an mit deinen Würmern.
6 And I will irrigate the earth with your rotting blood upon the mountains. And the valleys will be filled with you.
Das Land, in dem du schwimmst, das tränke ich mit deinem Blut bis zu den Bergen; Rinnsale werden von dir ausgefüllt.
7 And I will cover heaven, when you will have been extinguished. And I will cause its stars to grow dark. I will shroud the sun with gloom, and the moon will not give her light.
Wenn ich dich so erlöschen mache, alsdann verhülle ich den Himmel, und seine Sterne kleide ich in Schwarz. Die Sonne überziehe ich mit Wolken, und nicht mehr gibt der Mond sein Licht.
8 I will cause all the lights of heaven to grieve over you. And I will bring darkness upon your land, says the Lord God, when your wounded will have fallen in the midst of the land, says the Lord God.
Die Lichter all am Himmel kleide ich in Schwarz um deinetwillen und lasse Finsternis in deinem Land entstehen.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
9 And I will provoke the heart of many peoples to anger, when I will have led in your destruction among the Gentiles, over the lands that you have not known.
'Ich mache vieler Völker Herz bekümmert, wenn ich die Kunde deines Untergangs hin zu den Heiden kommen lasse, in Länder, die du niemals kanntest.
10 And I will cause many peoples to be stupefied over you. And their kings will be afraid, with great horror, over you, when my sword will begin to fly above their faces. And suddenly, they will be struck with astonishment, each one concerning his own life, on the day of their ruination.
Ich setze viele Völker in Erstaunen über dich, und über dich erschauern ihre Könige, wenn ich mein Schwert vor ihrem Antlitz schwinge. Sie zittern immerfort am Tage deines Sturzes.'
11 For thus says the Lord God: The sword of the king of Babylon will come to you.
Denn also spricht der Herr, der Herr: 'Das Schwert des Babelkönigs soll dich treffen.
12 By the swords of the strong, I will cast down your multitude. All these nations are invincible, and they will lay waste to the arrogance of Egypt, and so its multitude will be destroyed.
Durch Kriegerschwerter werf ich deine große Menge nieder. Die Wildesten der Heiden sind es insgesamt; Ägyptens Glanz vernichten sie. Sein großes Volk geht unter.
13 And I will perish all its cattle, which were above the many waters. And the foot of man will no longer disturb them, and the hoof of cattle will no longer trouble them.
Vernichten will ich all sein Vieh an großen Wassern; kein Menschenfuß soll sie mehr trüben, nicht trüben eines Rindes Klaue.
14 Then I will cause their waters to be very pure, and their rivers to be like oil, says the Lord God,
Dann laß ich ihr Gewässer sinken, und ihre Ströme laß ich fließen wie das Öl.' Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
15 when I will have set the land of Egypt in desolation. And the land will be deprived of her plenitude, when I will have struck all its inhabitants. And they shall know that I am the Lord.
'Wenn ich das Land Ägypten dann verheert, das Land samt seiner Fülle ganz vernichtet, auch alle, die dort wohnen, umgebracht, dann werden sie erkennen: Ich bin der Herr.
16 This is the lamentation. And they shall lament it. The daughters of the Gentiles shall lament it. They shall lament it over Egypt and over its multitude, says the Lord God.”
Dies ist ein Klagelied, das man singt; der Heiden Töchter stimmen's an. Sie singen's auf Ägypten und sein großes Volk. Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.'"
17 And it happened that, in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying:
Im Jahre zwölf am fünfzehnten des Monds erging das Wort des Herrn an mich:
18 “Son of man, sing mournfully over the multitude of Egypt. And cast her down, both her and the daughters of the robust nations, to the lowest part of the earth, with those who descend into the pit.
"Klag, Menschensohn! Ein Klagelied stimm auf das große Volk Ägyptens an! Begleite es mitsamt den Töchtern großer Völker zu der Unterwelt, zu denen, die zur Grube fuhren:
19 Whom do you exceed in beauty? Descend and sleep with the uncircumcised!
'Warst du nicht herrlicher als irgendwer, herunter jetzt! Leg dich zu Nackten hin!'
20 They will fall by the sword in the midst of the slain. The sword has been given. They have dragged her down, with all her people.
Bei den vom Schwert Erschlagenen sollen sie jetzt liegen - ein Schwert ist schon bestimmt -; man schleppt es hin mit seinem ganzen großen Volke.
21 The most powerful among the strong will speak to him from the midst of hell, those who descended with his helpers and who went to sleep uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)
Anreden werden es die ersten Helden aus der Unterwelt samt seinen Helfern, die herabgestiegen und ihr Lager eingenommen, die Nackten, die vom Schwert Erschlagenen. (Sheol h7585)
22 Assur is in that place, with all his multitude. Their graves are all around him: all of the slain and those who fell by the sword.
Hier liegt Assyrien; sein zahlreich Volk liegt um sein Grab. Sie alle sind Erschlagene, durchs Schwert Gefallene.
23 Their graves have been placed in the lowest parts of the pit. And his multitude was stationed on all sides of his grave: all of the slain, and those who fell by the sword, who formerly spread terror in the land of the living.
Ihm ist sein Grab bereitet in dem innern Teil der Gruft; sein zahlreich Volk liegt um sein Grab herum. Sie alle sind Erschlagene, durchs Schwert Gefallene, die einst Schrecken verbreiteten im Lande der Lebendigen.
24 Elam is in that place, with all his multitude, on all sides of his grave, all those who were slain or who fell by the sword, who descended uncircumcised to the lowest part of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.
Hier liegt auch Elam und sein ganzes großes Volk rings um sein Grab. Sie alle sind Erschlagene, durchs Schwert Gefallene. Sie sind zur Unterwelt hinabgefahren nackt, die einstens Schreck verbreiteten im Lande der Lebendigen. Sie tragen nun die Schmach dafür bei denen, die zur Grube fuhren.
25 They have appointed him a place to lie among all his people, in the midst of the slain. Their graves are all around him. All these are uncircumcised and were slain by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living, and they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit. They have been stationed in the midst of the slain.
Inmitten von Erschlagenen ward ihm sein Lager angewiesen mit seinem ganzen, großen Volke; um ihn herum ihr Grab. Sie alle sind nur Nackte, Schwertdurchbohrte. Weil sie im Lande der Lebendigen ein Schrecken waren, so tragen sie die Schmach dafür bei denen, die zur Grube fuhren. Jetzt wird's zu den Erschlagenen gezählt.
26 Meshech and Tubal are in that place, with all their multitude. Their graves are all around him: all these are uncircumcised, and they were slain and fell by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living.
Hier ist Mesech, Tubal, sein ganzes großes Volk und rings um ihn sind seine Gräber; sie alle sind nur Nackte, Schwertdurchbohrte. Weil sie einst Schrecken um sich her verbreiteten im Lande der Lebendigen,
27 But they shall not sleep with the strong, and with those who also fell uncircumcised, who descended to hell with their weapons, and who placed their swords under their heads, while their iniquities were in their bones. For they were the terror of the strong in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)
drum liegen sie nicht bei der Vorzeit Helden, die hinter jenen Nackten ruhen, die mit den Waffen in den Händen zur Unterwelt hinabgestiegen, die ihre Schwerter unter ihre Häupter legten, und deren Leib ein Schild bedeckt. Sie waren ja ein Schrecken für die andern Helden im Lande der Lebendigen. (Sheol h7585)
28 Therefore, you also will be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and you will sleep with those who were slain by the sword.
Auch du bist unter Nackte hingeworfen und liegst bei Schwertdurchbohrten.
29 Idumea is in that place, with her kings and all her commanders, who with their army have been given to those who were slain by the sword. And they have slept with the uncircumcised and with those who descend into the pit.
Hier ist auch Edom, seine Könige, all seine Fürsten, die zu den Schwerterschlagenen trotz ihrer Tapferkeit geraten sind. Sie liegen bei den Nackten, bei den ins Totenreich Gewanderten.
30 All the leaders of the north are in that place, with all the hunters, who were brought down with the slain, fearful and confounded in their strength, who have gone to sleep uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.
Dort liegen alle Fürsten aus dem Norden und alle die Sidonier, zu den Erschlagenen herabgestiegen, trotz ihrer fürchterlichen Tapferkeit mit Schmach bedeckt. Sie liegen nackt bei jenen Schwertdurchbohrten und tragen ihre Schmach samt andern Schatten.
31 Pharaoh saw them, and he was consoled over all his multitude, which was slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his army, says the Lord God.
Wenn diese Pharao erblickt, dann tröstet er sich wegen seines ganzen großen Volkes. Denn Schwertdurchbohrte sind der Pharao sowie sein ganzes Heer." Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
32 For I have spread my terror in the land of the living, and he has gone to sleep in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord God.”
"Ja, Schrecken ließ ich über ihn verbreiten im Lande der Lebendigen. Nun liegt er zwischen Nackten hingestreckt und zwischen Schwertdurchbohrten, der Pharao und alle seine Scharen." Ein Spruch des Herrn, des Herrn.
