Ezekiel 22

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयोः

2 “And you, son of man, should you not judge, should you not judge the city of blood?

“अब ए मानिसको छोरो, के तँ न्‍याय गर्छस्‌? के तँ त्‍यो रगतको सहरको न्‍याय गर्छस्‌? त्‍यसका सबै घृणित कुराहरू त्यसलाई जानकारी दे ।

3 And you shall reveal to her all her abominations. And you shall say: Thus says the Lord God: This is the city which sheds blood in her midst, so that her time may come, and which has made idols against herself, so that she may be defiled.

तैंले यसको भन्‍नुपर्छ, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः आफ्‍नै अन्‍त्‍यको समय आओस् भनेर आफ्‍नो बिचमा रगत बगाउने सहर यही हो । आफूलाई बिटुलो पार्नलाई मूर्तिहरू बनाउने सहर यही हो ।

4 You have offended by your blood, which you shed from yourself. And you have been defiled by your idols which you yourself made. And you have caused your days to approach, and you have brought on the time of your years. Because of this, I have made you a disgrace to the Gentiles, and a derision to all the lands.

तैंले बगाएको रगतको कारणले तँ दोषी भएको छस्‌, र तैंले बनाएका मूर्तिहरूद्वारा तँ अशुद्ध भएको छस्‌ । तैंले आफ्‍ना दिनहरूको अन्‍त्‍य गरेको छस्, र तेरा वर्षहरूको अन्‍त्‍य आएको छ । यसैकारण म तँलाई जातिहरूका बिचमा गिल्‍ला र सबै देशमा हाँसोको पात्र बनाउनेछु ।

5 Those that are near and those that are far from you will triumph over you. You are filthy, infamous, great in destruction.

तेरो नजिक हुनेहरू र टाढा हुनेहरू दुवैले तेरो गिल्‍ला गर्नेछन्— तँ अपवित्र सहर— अलमल पार्ने कुराहरूले भरिएको सहरको रूपमा चिनिएको छस् ।

6 Behold, the leaders of Israel have each used his arm to shed blood within you.

हेर्, इस्राएलका शासहरू, रगत बगाउन हरेक व्‍यक्‍ति आफ्‍नै शक्तिले तँकहाँ आएका छन् ।

7 They have abused father and mother within you. The new arrival has been oppressed in your midst. They have grieved the orphan and the widow among you.

तँभित्रै तिनीहरूले माताहरू र बाबुहरूसँग अपमानको व्‍यवहार गरेका छन्‌, र तिनीहरूले तेरो बिचमा भएका विदेशीहरूमाथि अत्‍याचार गरेका छन् । तेरो बिचमा भएका टुहुरा-टुहुरी र विधवाहरूलाई तिनीहरूले दुर्व्‍यवहार गरेका छन्‌ ।

8 You have spurned my sanctuaries, and you have defiled my Sabbaths.

मेरा पवित्र कुराहरूलाई तैंले घृणा गरेको छस्‌ र मेरा शबाथहरूलाई अपवित्र पारेको छस्‌ ।

9 Maligning men were within you, in order to shed blood, and they have eaten upon the mountains within you. They have worked wickedness in your midst.

रगत बगाउनलाई हत्‍या गर्ने मानिसहरू तँभित्र आएका छन्, र तिनीहरूले डाँडाहरूमा खान्‍छन्‌ । तिनीहरूले तेरो बिचमा दुष्‍ट काम गर्छन्‌ ।

10 They have uncovered the nakedness of their father within you. They have debased the uncleanness of the menstruous woman within you.

तेरो भित्र भएका मानिसहरूले आफ्‍ना पिताको नङ्नता प्रकट गर्छन्‌ । तेरो भित्र भएका मानिसहरूले रजस्‍वला भएकी स्‍त्रिसँग सम्‍भोग गरेर अशुद्ध भएका छन् ।

11 And each one has committed abomination with the wife of his neighbor. And the father-in-law has heinously defiled his daughter-in-law. The brother has oppressed his sister, the daughter of his father, within you.

आफ्‍नो छिमेकीकी पत्‍नीसँग घिनलाग्‍दा काम गर्ने मानिसहरू, र आफ्‍नी बुहारीहरूलाई लाज हुने किसिमले अशुद्ध पार्ने मानिसहरू, आफ्‍नै बहिनीहरू—आफ्‍ना बुबाकी छोरीहरूलाई बिगार्ने मानिसहरू —यी सबै जना तँभित्रै छन् ।

12 They have accepted bribes among you to shed blood. You have received usury and superabundance, and in avarice you have oppressed your neighbors. And you have forgotten me, says the Lord God.

तँभित्र यी मानिसहरूले रक्तपात गर्नलाई घूस लिन्‍छन्‌ र तैंले बढी ब्‍याज लिएर र धेरै मुनाफा कमाएको छस्, र थिचोमिचो गरेर तैंले आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई नष्‍ट गरेको छस्, र तैंले मलाई बिर्सेको छस्— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।

13 Behold, I have clapped my hands over your avarice, which you have worked, and over the blood that has been shed in your midst.

हेर्, तैंले अन्‍यायसित नाफा गरेको र तेरो बिचमा भएको रक्तपातलाई मैले आफ्‍नो हातले प्रहार गरेको छु ।

14 How can your heart endure, or your hands prevail, in the days that I will bring upon you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will act.

मैले तँसित व्‍यवहार गरेको दिनमा के तेरो हृदय स्‍थिर रहला, अनि तेरो हात दह्रिलो होला र? म परमप्रभुले यो घोषणा गर्दैछु, र म त्‍यसै गर्नेछु ।

15 And I will disperse you among the nations, and I will scatter you among the lands, and I will cause your uncleanness to fade away from you.

यसैले म तँलाई जातिहरूका बिचमा छरपष्‍ट पार्नेछु, र तँलाई देशहरूमा तितरबितर पार्नेछु । यसरी तँमा भएको अशुद्धताबाट तँलाई शुद्ध पार्नेछु ।

16 And I will possess you in the sight of the Gentiles. And you shall know that I am the Lord.”

यसरी तँ जातिहरूका दृष्‍टिमा तँ अशुद्ध हुनेछस् । तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तैंले जान्‍नेछस्‌' ।”

17 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

त्‍यसपछि परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ भयो,

18 “Son of man, the house of Israel has become like dross to me. All these are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead in the midst of the furnace; they have become like the dross of silver.

“ए मानिसको छोरो, इस्राएलको घराना मेरो निम्‍ति थेग्रो भएको छ । ती सबै जना तिमीहरूका बिचमा काँसा, जस्‍ता, फलाम र सीसाका उब्रेका कुरा भएका छन्‌ । तिनीहरू तेरो भट्टीमा चाँदीका थेग्राझैं हुनेछन् ।

19 Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Since you have all turned into dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you together in the midst of Jerusalem,

यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, 'तिमीहरू सबै जना थेग्राजस्‍ता भएका हुनाले, म तिमीहरूलाई यरूशलेमको बिचमा जम्‍मा गर्न लागेको छु ।

20 just as they gather silver, and brass, and tin, and iron, and lead in the midst of the furnace, so that I may kindle in it a fire to melt it. So will I gather you together in my fury and in my wrath, and I will be quieted, and I will melt you down.

जसरी चाँदी, काँसा, फलाम, सीसा र जस्‍तालाई भट्टीमा गलाउनलाई मानिसहरूले जम्‍मा गर्छन्, त्‍यसरी नै म पनि मेरो रिस र मेरो क्रोधमा तिमीहरूलाई जम्‍मा गर्नेछु, र म तिमीहरूलाई त्‍यहाँ हाल्‍नेछु र तिमीहरूलाई गाल्‍नेछु ।

21 And I will gather you together, and I will burn you in the fire of my fury, and you will be melted in its midst.

म तिमीहरूलाई भेला गर्नेछु, र मेरो क्रोधको आगोमा तिमीहरूलाई फुक्‍नेछु, र तिमीहरू त्‍यसैभित्र गल्‍नेछौ ।

22 Just as silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so will you be in its midst. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have poured out my indignation upon you.”

जसरी भट्टीमा चाँदी गल्‍छ, र तिमीहरू त्‍यसभित्र गल्‍नेछौ, र म परमप्रभुले नै तिमीहरूमाथि आफ्‍नो क्रोध खन्‍याएको हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्‍नेछौ' ।”

23 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:

परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

24 “Son of man, say to her: You are a land unclean and not rained upon, in the day of fury.

“ए मानिसको छोरो, त्यसलाई भन्, 'तँ शुद्ध नगरिएको देश होस् । क्रोधको दिनमा त्‍यहाँ वर्षा हुँदैन ।

25 There is a conspiracy of prophets in her midst. Like a lion, roaring and seizing the prey, they have devoured souls. They have taken riches and a price. They have multiplied widows in her midst.

गर्जने सिंहले शिकार टुक्र्याएझैं त्‍यसको बिचमा भएका त्‍यसका अगमवक्‍ताहरूले एउटा षड्‌यन्‍त्र रच्छन् । तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूलाई निल्‍छन् र बहुमूल्‍य धन लुट्‌छन् । त्यसभित्र तिनीहरूले धेरै जनालाई विधवा बनाउँछन्‌ ।

26 Her priests have despised my law, and they have defiled my sanctuaries. They have held no distinction between holy and profane. And they have not understood the difference between defiled and clean. And they have averted their eyes from my Sabbaths. And I was profaned in their midst.

त्‍यसका पुजारीहरूले मेरो व्‍यवस्‍था भङ्ग गर्छन्‌ र तिनीहरूले मेरा पवित्र चीजहरू तुच्‍छ ठान्‍छन्‌। तिनीहरूले पवित्र कुरा र तुच्‍छ कुराको बिचमा भिन्‍नता छुट्‍याउँदैनन्, अनि अशुद्ध र शुद्धको बिचको भिन्‍ता सिकाउँदैनन्। तिनीहरूले मेरा शबाथहरूबाट आफ्ना आँखा लुकाउँछन् ताकि तिनीहरूका बिचमा म तच्‍छ भएको छु ।

27 Her leaders in her midst are like wolves seizing the prey: to shed blood, and to perish souls, and to continually pursue profit with avarice.

त्‍यसभित्र भएका त्‍यसका शासकहरू आफ्‍नो शिकार फहराउने ब्‍वाँसाहरूजस्‍ता छन्‌ । तिनीहरूले बेईमानसाथ नाफा कमाउनलाई रगत बगाउँछन् र मानिसहरूलाई मार्छन्‌ ।

28 And her prophets have covered them without tempering the mortar, seeing emptiness, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.

त्‍यसका अगमवक्ताहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि चुनले पोतेका छन्। तिनीहरूले असत्‍य दर्शन देख्छन् र तिनीहरूका निम्‍ति झूटा अगमवाणी बोल्‍छन् । तिनीहरू भन्‍छन्, “परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छ,' जबकि परमप्रभु बोल्‍नुभएकै हुँदैन ।

29 The people of the land have oppressed with slander and have seized with violence. They have afflicted the needy and the poor, and they have oppressed the new arrival by accusations without judgment.

देशका मानिसहरूले बलपूर्वक थिचोमिचो गरेका छन् र लुटपाट गरेर लूट मच्‍चाएका छन्, अनि तिनीहरूले गरीब र दरिद्रहरूमाथि दुर्व्‍यवहार गर्छन्, र विदेशीहरूसँग अन्‍यायपूर्वक थिचोमिचो गर्छन् ।

30 And I sought among them for a man who might set up a hedge, and stand in the gap before me on behalf of the land, so that I might not destroy it; and I found no one.

यसैले पर्खाल निर्माण गरिदिने र देश मद्वारा नष्‍ट नहोस्‌ भनी देशको लागि मेरो सामुन्‍ने धाँदोमा उभिदिने एक जना मानिस तिनीहरूका बिचमा मैले हेरें, तर मैले कोही पनि पाइनँ ।

31 And so I poured out my indignation upon them; in the fire of my wrath I consumed them. I have rendered their own way upon their head, says the Lord God.”

त्‍यसैले तिनीहरूमाथि म आफ्‍नो क्रोध खन्‍याउनेछु । मेरो रिसको आगोले म तिनीहरूलाई खत्तम गर्नेछु र तिनीहरूका चाल तिनीहरूकै थाप्‍लोमा हाल्‍नेछु— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।"'
