< Ephesians 6 >

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is just.
Mi ɖeviwo la, miɖo to mia dzilawo le Aƒetɔ la me, elabena esia le eteƒe.
2 Honor your father and your mother. This is the first commandment with a promise:
“Bu fofowò kple dawò,” esiae nye sedede gbãtɔ si ŋuti ŋugbedodo kpe ɖo,
3 so that it may be well with you, and so that you may have a long life upon the earth.
“be wòadze edzi na wò nyuie, eye nànɔ agbe didi le anyigba dzi.”
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but educate them with the discipline and correction of the Lord.
Mi fofowo la, migado dɔmedzoe na mia viwo o, ke boŋ mihe wo, eye miafia nu wo le Aƒetɔ la me.
5 Servants, be obedient to your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ.
Mi kluviwo la, miɖo to miaƒe aƒetɔ siwo le anyigba dzi, mide bubu wo ŋu le vɔvɔ̃ me. Misubɔ wo le anukware blibo me abe ale si miasubɔ Kristo ene.
6 Do not serve only when seen, as if to please men, but act as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.
Miɖo to wo, menye ɖe esi woakpɔ ŋudzedze le mia ŋu ta o, ke boŋ abe Kristo ƒe kluvi siwo le Mawu ƒe lɔlɔ̃nu wɔm tso miaƒe dzime ke ene.
7 Serve with good will, as to the Lord, and not to men.
Misubɔ tso dzi blibo me ke abe Aƒetɔ la subɔm miele ene, ke menye amegbetɔ o,
8 For you know that whatever good each one will do, the same will he receive from the Lord, whether he is servant or free.
elabena mienya be Aƒetɔ la ana fetu ame sia ame ɖe eƒe dɔ nyui wɔwɔ ta, eɖanye kluvi alo ablɔɖevi o.
9 And you, lords, act similarly toward them, setting aside threats, knowing that the Lord of both you and them is in heaven. For with him there is no favoritism toward anyone.
Mi aƒetɔwo la, miwɔ nu dzɔdzɔewo ɖe miaƒe kluviwo ŋuti abe ale si megblɔ na wo be woawɔ na mi ene. Migado ŋɔdzi na wo o, miɖo ŋku edzi be ame sia nye mi katã ƒe Aƒetɔ le dziƒo, eye Aƒetɔ sia mekpɔa ame aɖeke ƒe ŋkume o.
10 Concerning the rest, brothers, be strengthened in the Lord, by the power of his virtue.
Mlɔeba la, misẽ ŋu le Aƒetɔ la me kple Aƒetɔ la ƒe ŋusẽ triakɔ si le mia me la.
11 Be clothed in the armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the treachery of the devil.
Mikpla Mawu ƒe aʋawɔnu blibo la katã be miate ŋu anɔ te ɖe Abosam ƒe ɖoɖowo kple ayemenu siwo wòɖo ɖe mia ŋuti la nu.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the directors of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places. (aiōn g165)
Elabena míele aʋa wɔm kple ŋutilã kple ʋu o, ke boŋ kple dziɖulawo, ŋusẽtɔwo, xexe sia me vivitimeŋusẽwo kpakple gbɔgbɔmeŋusẽ vɔ̃ɖi siwo le dziƒonutowo me. (aiōn g165)
13 Because of this, take up the armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand the evil day and remain perfect in all things.
Eya ta mikpla Mawu ƒe aʋawɔnu blibo la katã be ne ŋkeke vɔ̃ la ɖo la, miate ŋu anɔ te ɖe futɔ la nu, eye ne miewɔ aʋa la vɔ la, miaganɔ te sesĩe.
14 Therefore, stand firm, having been girded about your waist with truth, and having been clothed with the breastplate of justice,
Minɔ te sesĩe, mitsɔ nyateƒe la bla ali dzi, eye miatsɔ dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe akɔtablanu la atsyɔ akɔta,
15 and having feet which have been shod by the preparation of the Gospel of peace.
eye mido afɔkpa siwo ana mianɔ klalo na gbeƒãɖeɖe ŋutifafanyanyui la.
16 In all things, take up the shield of faith, with which you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.
Kpe ɖe esiawo katã ŋu la, milé xɔse ƒe akpoxɔnu la ɖe asi, elabena eyae miatsɔ atsi vɔ̃ɖitɔ la ƒe aŋutrɔ siwo le abe dzo ƒe aɖewo ene lae.
17 And take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God).
Mitsɔ xɔxɔkpɔkpɔ ɖɔ abe gakuku ene, eye milé Gbɔgbɔ la ƒe yi si nye Mawu ƒe nya la ɖe asi.
18 Through every kind of prayer and supplication, pray at all times in spirit, and so be vigilant with every kind of earnest supplication, for all the saints,
Mido gbe ɖa le gbɔgbɔ me ɣe sia ɣi, miwɔ gbedodoɖa ɖe sia ɖe. Minɔ ŋudzɔ, eye miado gbe ɖa ɣe sia ɣi ɖe ame kɔkɔewo katã ta.
19 and also for me, so that words may be given to me, as I open my mouth with faith to make known the mystery of the Gospel,
Mido gbe ɖa ɖe nye hã tanye be ne mele nu ƒom la, Mawu nade nya nu nam, be maƒo nu dzideƒotɔe ne mele gbeƒã ɖem nyanyui la ƒe nya ɣaɣlawo,
20 in such a manner that I may dare to speak exactly as I ought to speak. For I act as an ambassador in chains for the Gospel.
nu si ta menye ame dɔdɔ si le game ɖo. Mido gbe ɖa be magblɔ nyanyui la vɔvɔ̃manɔmee, ale si mate ŋui.
21 Now, so that you also may know the things that concern me and what I am doing, Tychicus, a most beloved brother and a faithful minister in the Lord, will make known everything to you.
Tikiko, ame si nye nɔvi lɔlɔ̃a kple dɔla nuteƒewɔla le Aƒetɔ la me la agblɔ nya sia nya na mi, be miawo hã mianya nu tso ŋunye kple nu si wɔm mele.
22 I have sent him to you for this very reason, so that you may know the things that concern us, and so that he may console your hearts.
Susu sia dzaa ta ko mele edɔm ɖo ɖe mia gbɔ be mianya ale si míele, eye be wòade dzi ƒo na mi.
23 Peace to the brothers, and charity with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, ŋutifafa kple lɔlɔ̃ kpakple xɔse si tso Mawu Fofo la kple Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo gbɔ la nenɔ anyi kpli mi.
24 May grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ, unto incorruption. Amen.
