1 Corinthians 12
1 Now concerning spiritual things, I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers.
൧സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ആത്മികവരങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അറിവില്ലാതിരിക്കരുത് എന്ന് ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
2 You know that when you were Gentiles, you approached mute idols, doing what you were led to do.
൨നിങ്ങൾ ജാതികൾ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളെ വഴിതെറ്റിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ ഊമവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ നടത്തപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു എന്ന് അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
3 Because of this, I would have you know that no one speaking in the Spirit of God utters a curse against Jesus. And no one is able to say that Jesus is Lord, except in the Holy Spirit.
൩ആകയാൽ ദൈവാത്മാവിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവൻ ആരും യേശു ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്ന് പറയുകയില്ല; പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിൽ അല്ലാതെ യേശു കർത്താവ് എന്ന് പറയുവാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിയുകയുമില്ല എന്ന് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഗ്രഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
4 Truly, there are diverse graces, but the same Spirit.
൪എന്നാൽ കൃപാവരങ്ങളിൽ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ട്; എങ്കിലും ആത്മാവ് ഒന്നത്രേ.
5 And there are diverse ministries, but the same Lord.
൫ശുശ്രൂഷകളിൽ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ട്; എങ്കിലും കർത്താവ് ഒരുവൻ.
6 And there are diverse works, but the same God, who works everything in everyone.
൬പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ വ്യത്യാസം ഉണ്ട്; എങ്കിലും എല്ലാവരിലും എല്ലാം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം ഒരുവൻ തന്നെ.
7 However, the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one toward what is beneficial.
൭എന്നാൽ ഓരോരുത്തർക്കും ആത്മാവിന്റെ പ്രകാശനം പൊതുപ്രയോജനത്തിനായി നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
8 Certainly, to one, through the Spirit, is given words of wisdom; but to another, according to the same Spirit, words of knowledge;
൮ഒരാൾക്ക് ആത്മാവിനാൽ ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ വചനവും നല്കപ്പെടുന്നു;
9 to another, in the same Spirit, faith; to another, in the one Spirit, the gift of healing;
൯വേറൊരാൾക്ക് അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ വിശ്വാസം, മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് അതേ ആത്മാവിനാൽ രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരങ്ങൾ;
10 to another, miraculous works; to another, prophecy; to another, the discernment of spirits; to another, different kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of words.
൧൦ഒരാൾക്ക് വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ; മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് പ്രവചനം; മറ്റൊരുവന് ആത്മാക്കളുടെ വിവേചനം; വേറൊരുവന് പലവിധ ഭാഷകൾ; മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് ഭാഷകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം.
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one according to his will.
൧൧എന്നാൽ ഇത് എല്ലാം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത് താൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ അവനവന് അതത് വരം പകുത്തുകൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരേ ആത്മാവ് തന്നെ.
12 For just as the body is one, and yet has many parts, so all the parts of the body, though they are many, are only one body. So also is Christ.
൧൨ശരീരം ഒന്നാണെങ്കിലും അതിന് പല അവയവങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ. ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങൾ പലതായിരിക്കെ അവ എല്ലാം ചേർന്ന് ഒരു ശരീരം ആയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവും.
13 And indeed, in one Spirit, we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether servant or free. And we all drank in the one Spirit.
൧൩യെഹൂദന്മാരോ യവനന്മാരോ ദാസനോ സ്വതന്ത്രനോ നാം എല്ലാവരും ഏകശരീരമാകുമാറ് ഒരേ ആത്മാവിൽ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റും എല്ലാവരും ഒരേ ആത്മാവിനെ പാനംചെയ്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.
14 For the body, too, is not one part, but many.
൧൪ശരീരം ഒരു അവയവമല്ല പലതത്രേ.
15 If the foot were to say, “Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body,” would it then not be of the body?
൧൫ഞാൻ കൈ അല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ട് ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്ന് കാൽ പറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അതിനാൽ അത് ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്ന് വരികയില്ല.
16 And if the ear were to say, “Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body,” would it then not be of the body?
൧൬ഞാൻ കണ്ണ് അല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ട് ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്ന് ചെവി പറയുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അതിനാൽ അത് ശരീരത്തിലുള്ളതല്ല എന്നും വരികയില്ല.
17 If the whole body were the eye, how would it hear? If the whole were hearing, how would it smell?
൧൭ശരീരം മുഴുവൻ കണ്ണായാൽ കേൾവി എവിടെ? മുഴുവൻ ശ്രവണം ആയാൽ ഘ്രാണം എവിടെ?
18 But instead, God has placed the parts, each one of them, in the body, just as it has pleased him.
൧൮ദൈവമോ തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം അവയവങ്ങളെ ശരീരത്തിൽ വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
19 So if they were all one part, how would it be a body?
൧൯എല്ലാം ഒരു അവയവം എങ്കിൽ ശരീരം എവിടെ?
20 But instead, there are many parts, indeed, yet one body.
൨൦എന്നാൽ അവയവങ്ങൾ പലതെങ്കിലും ശരീരം ഒന്ന് തന്നെ.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need for your works.” And again, the head cannot say to the feet, “You are of no use to me.”
൨൧കണ്ണ് കയ്യോട്: നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നും തല കാലുകളോട്: നിങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്നും പറയുവാൻ കഴിയുകയില്ല.
22 In fact, so much more necessary are those parts of the body which seem to be weaker.
൨൨നേരെ മറിച്ച്, ശരീരത്തിൽ ബലം കുറഞ്ഞവ എന്നു തോന്നുന്ന അവയവങ്ങൾ തന്നെ നമുക്ക് ആവശ്യമുള്ളവയാകുന്നു.
23 And though we consider certain parts of the body to be less noble, we surround these with more abundant dignity, and so, those parts which are less presentable end up with more abundant respect.
൨൩ശരീരത്തിൽ മാനം കുറഞ്ഞവ എന്നു തോന്നുന്നവയ്ക്ക് നാം അധികം മാനം അണിയിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മിൽ അഴക് കുറഞ്ഞവയ്ക്ക് അധികം അഴക് വരുത്തുന്നു;
24 However, our presentable parts have no such need, since God has tempered the body together, distributing the more abundant honor to that which has the need,
൨൪നമ്മിൽ അഴകുള്ള അവയവങ്ങൾക്ക് അത് ആവശ്യമില്ലല്ലോ.
25 so that there might be no schism in the body, but instead the parts themselves might take care of one another.
൨൫എന്നാൽ, ശരീരത്തിൽ ഭിന്നത വരാതെ അവയവങ്ങൾ അന്യോന്യം ഒരുപോലെ കരുതേണ്ടതിനായി കുറവുള്ളതിന് അധികം മാനം കൊടുത്തുകൊണ്ട് ശരീരത്തെ ദൈവം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
26 And so, if one part suffers anything, all the parts suffer with it. Or, if one part finds glory, all the parts rejoice with it.
൨൬അതിനാൽ ഒരു അവയവം കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവയവങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും അതിനോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു അവയവത്തിന് മാനം വന്നാൽ അവയവങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും അതിനോടുകൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and parts like any part.
൨൭എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരവും ഓരോരുത്തൻ വെവ്വേറെയായി അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.
28 And indeed, God has established a certain order in the Church: first Apostles, second Prophets, third Teachers, next miracle-workers, and then the grace of healing, of helping others, of governing, of different kinds of languages, and of the interpretation of words.
൨൮ദൈവം സഭയിൽ ഒന്നാമത് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ, രണ്ടാമത് പ്രവാചകന്മാർ, മൂന്നാമത് ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാർ, ഇങ്ങനെ ഓരോരുത്തരെ നിയമിക്കുകയും, പിന്നെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ, രോഗശാന്തികളുടെ വരങ്ങൾ, സഹായം ചെയ്യുവാനുള്ള വരം, പരിപാലനവരം, വിവിധഭാഷാവരം എന്നിവ നല്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
29 Are all Apostles? Are all Prophets? Are all Teachers?
൨൯എല്ലാവരും അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരല്ല. എല്ലാവരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരല്ല. എല്ലാവരും ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാരല്ല. എല്ലാവരും വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ ചെയ്യുന്നവരല്ല.
30 Are all workers of miracles? Do all have the grace of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?
൩൦എല്ലാവർക്കും രോഗശാന്തിക്കുള്ള വരം ഇല്ല. എല്ലാവരും അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നില്ല.
31 But be zealous for the better charisms. And I reveal to you a yet more excellent way.
൩൧എല്ലാവരും വ്യാഖ്യാനിക്കുന്നില്ല. ശ്രേഷ്ഠവരങ്ങളെ വാഞ്ചിക്കുക; ഇനി അതിശ്രേഷ്ഠമായൊരു മാർഗ്ഗം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കാണിച്ചുതരാം.
