1 Chronicles 24
1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
También los hijos de Aarón tuvieron sus repartimientos. Los hijos de Aarón fueron; Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar, Itamar,
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and without children. And so Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priestly office.
Mas Nadab y Abiú murieron antes de su padre, y no tuvieron hijos: Eleazar e Itamar tuvieron el sacerdocio.
3 And David distributed them, that is, Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.
Y David los repartió: Sadoc era de los hijos de Eleazar, y Aquimelec de los hijos de Itamar, en su cuenta, en su ministerio.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the leading men, than of the sons of Ithamar. Therefore, he divided them so that there were, of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen leaders by their families, and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.
Y los hijos de Eleazar fueron hallados muchos más, en cuanto a sus principales varones, que los hijos de Itamar; y repartiéronlos así: De los hijos de Eleazar diez y seis cabezas por las familias de sus padres: y de los hijos de Itamar por las familias de sus padres, ocho.
5 Then he divided among them, in both families, by lot. For there were leaders of the sanctuary and leaders of God, as much from the sons of Eleazar as from the sons of Ithamar.
Y repartiéronlos por suerte los unos con los otros: porque de los hijos de Eleazar, y de los hijos de Itamar, hubo príncipes del santuario, y príncipes de Dios.
6 And the scribe Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel, a Levite, wrote these down before the king and the leaders, with Zadok, the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and also the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families. And there was one house, which was preeminent over the others, that of Eleazar; and there was another house, which had the others under it, that of Ithamar.
Y Semeías, hijo de Natanael, escriba de los Levitas, los escribió delante del rey, y de los príncipes, y delante de Sadoc el sacerdote, y de Aquimelec, hijo de Abiatar, y de los príncipes de las familias de los sacerdotes y Levitas: y a Eleazar atribuyeron una familia, y a Itamar fue atribuida otra.
7 Now the first lot went forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
La tercera por Harim, la cuarta por Seorim,
9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
La quinta por Melquías, la sexta por Maimán,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
La séptima por Accos, la octava por Abías,
11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
La nona por Jesúa, la décima por Sequemias,
12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
La undécima por Eliasib, la duodécima por Jacim,
13 the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
La trecena por Hopfa, la catorcena por Isbaab,
14 the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
La quincena por Belga, la dieziseisena por Emmer,
15 the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,
La decimaséptima por Hezir, la décimaoctava por Afses,
16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
La décimanona por Feceia, la vigésima por Hezeciel,
17 the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
La veinte y una por Joaquim, la veinte y dos por Gamul,
18 the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
La veinte y tres por Dalaiau, la veinte y cuatro por Maaziau.
19 These were their courses according to their ministries, so that they would enter into the house of the Lord in accord with their practice, under the hand of Aaron, their father, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had instructed.
Estos fueron contados en su ministerio, para que entrasen en la casa de Jehová conforme a su costumbre, debajo de la mano de Aarón su padre, de la manera que le había mandado Jehová el Dios de Israel.
20 Now of the sons of Levi who were remaining, there were Shubael, from the sons of Amram, and Jehdeiah, from the sons of Shubael.
Y de los hijos de Leví que quedaron: De los hijos de Amram era Subael: y de los hijos de Subael, Jehedeias.
21 Also, there were Isshiah, the leader from the sons of Rehabiah,
Y de los hijos de Rohobias, Jesías el principal.
22 and truly Shelomoth, the son of Izhar, and Jahath, the son of Shelomoth,
De Isaari, Salemot: e hijo de Salemot fue Jahat.
23 and his son, Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
Y su primer hijo fue Jeriau, el segundo Amarías, el tercero Jahaziel, el cuatro Jecmaam.
24 The son of Uzziel was Micah. The son of Micah was Shamir.
Hijo de Oziel fue Mica, e hijo de Mica fue Samir.
25 The brother of Micah was Isshiah. And the son of Isshiah was Zechariah.
Hermano de Mica fue Jesía, e hijo de Jesía fue Zacarías.
26 The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The son of Uzziah was Beno.
Los hijos de Merari fueron Moholi, y Musi: hijo de Oziau fue Benno.
27 Also, the son of Merari: Uzziah, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Hebri.
Los hijos de Merari de Oziau fueron Benno y Soam, Zacur y Hebri,
28 In addition, the son of Mahli was Eleazar, who had no children.
Y Eleazar de Moholi, el cual no tuvo hijos.
29 Truly, the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.
Hijo de Cis fue Jerameel.
30 The sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.
Los hijos de Musi fueron Moholi, Eder, y Jerimot. Estos fueron los hijos de los Levitas conforme a las casas de sus familias.
31 And they also cast lots concerning their brothers, the sons of Aaron, before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families, as much concerning the elder as the younger. The lot divided all things equitably.
Estos también echaron suertes contra sus hermanos los hijos de Aarón delante del rey David, y de Sadoc, y de Aquimelec, y de los príncipes de las familias de los sacerdotes, y de los Levitas, el principal de los padres contra su hermano menor.
