< Psalms 89 >

1 [A Psalm] of instruction for Aetham the Israelite. I will sing of your mercies, O Lord, for ever: I will declare your truth with my mouth to all generations.
I PAN kauleki duen kalanan en Ieowa kokolata, o i pan kaparokki au ai omui melel jan eh kainok lel eu.
2 For you have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: your truth shall be established in the heavens.
Pwe I indinda: Mak joutik eu pan pwarado, o kom pan kotin kolekol ar melel nanlan.
3 I made a covenant with my chosen ones, I sware to David my servant.
I inauki oner, ai pilipildar akan; I kaulki oner Dawid nai ladu.
4 I will establish your seed for ever, and build up your throne to all generations. (Pause)
Kadoudok om pan mimieta kokolata, o I pan kauada mol om jan eu kainok lel eu.
5 The heavens shall declare your wonders, O Lord; and your truth in the assembly of the saints.
Nanlan ap kapina omui manaman akan, Main Ieowa, o omui melel nan pokon en japwelim omui jaraui kan.
6 For who in the heavens shall be compared to the Lord? and who shall be likened to the Lord amongst the sons of God?
Pwe ij nan tapok kan me rajon Ieowa? De ij me rajon Ieowa nan pun en me lapalap akan?
7 God is glorified in the council of the saints; great and terrible towards all that are round about him.
Kot meid manaman nan pokon en me jaraui kan, o meid kapuriamui on me kaukaujon re a.
8 O Lord God of hosts, who is like to you? you are mighty, O Lord, and your truth is round about you.
Main Ieowa, Kot Jepaot, ij me jaron komui. Omui melel kin kapil komui pena.
9 You rule the power of the sea; and you calm the tumult of its waves.
Komui me kotin kaunda madau anian. Komui kin kamoleilei iluk kan ni ar pan kokoda.
10 You has brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of your power you has scattered your enemies.
Komui me kotin tiakedi Raap dueta kamelar amen. Kom kotin kamueit pajaner imwintiti kan ki lim omui manaman.
11 The heavens are your, and the earth is your: you have founded the world, and the fullness of it.
Lan o jappa me japwilim omui, jappa o audepa. Komui me kotin pajonedier.
12 You have created the north and the west: Thabor and Hermon shall rejoice in your name.
Komui me kotin wiadar pali apon o pali air, Tapor o Ermon kin nijinijki mar omui.
13 Your is the mighty arm: let your hand be strengthened, let your right hand be exalted.
Lim omui me mananan o kumut en lim omui me rojon, lim omui pali maun me ileile.
14 Justice and judgement are the establishment of your throne: mercy and truth shall go before your face.
Melel o pun iei pajon on mol omui; kalanan o melel kin tion mo omui.
15 Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance.
Meid pai aramaj kan, me aja nijinij! Ieowa, re pan weweid ni marain en jilan omui.
16 And in your name shall they rejoice all the day: and in your righteousness shall they be exalted.
Re kin polauleki mar omui jan ni manjan lel jautik, o re kin pwai kida omui pun.
17 For you are the boast of their strength; and in your good pleasure shall our horn be exalted,
Pwe linan en ar kelail komui, o komui pan pokada oj at.
18 for [our] help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our king.
Pwe Ieowa pere patail o me Jaraui en Ijrael, i atail Nanmarki.
19 Then you spoke in vision to your children, and said, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of my people.
Maj o kom kotin majanier ki kajanjal kai on me lelapok kan: I kamanadar me Lapalap amen, I kajapwiladar pilipildar amen jan ren aramaj akan.
20 I have found David my servant; I have anointed him by [my] holy mercy.
I diaradar ai ladu Dawid, I keiekidier i ai le jaraui.
21 For my hand shall support him; and mine arm shall strengthen him.
Pa i pan kolekol i, o pa i pan kamanada i anjau karoj.
22 The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again.
Imwintiti kan jota pan kak widin on i, o me japun kan jota pan kak kaloedi.
23 And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him.
I pan kamela me palian i mo a, o I pan kaloke ir, mo kailonki i.
24 But my truth and my mercy shall be with him; and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
A ai melel o kalanan pan mi re a, o ni mar ai oj a pan pokapokada.
25 And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
I pan ki on pa a, en kaunda madau, o pa a maun, en kaunda pil akan.
26 He shall call upon me, [saying], You are my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation.
A pan likwir don ia: Komui Jam ai, ai Kot, o paip en maur i.
27 And I will make him [my] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
O I pan wia kila i nai mejeni, ileila jan nanmarki en jappa kan.
28 I will keep my mercy for him for ever, and my covenant [shall be] firm with him.
I pan kalanan on i kokolata, o ai inau on i pan duedueta.
29 And I will establish his seed for ever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
I pan ki on i kadaudok a kokolata, o mol a pan warai dueta lan.
30 If his children should forsake my law, and walk not in my judgements;
A ma na kan pan muei jan ai kapun, o re jota pan weweid ni ai kujoned akan,
31 if they should profane my ordinances, and not keep my commandments;
Ma re pan kajaminela ai tiak kan, o jota peiki on ai kujoned akan,
32 I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges.
I ap pan kaloke kin ir ar katiwo ki jokon pot, o pan woki ir, pweki ar japun.
33 But my mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong my truth.
A I jota pan kiwei jan i ai mak, o ai melel pan mimieta re a.
34 Neither will I by any means profane my covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of my lips.
I jota pan kawela ai inau, o I jota pan kawukila, me kowei jan nan au ai.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness, that I will not lie to David.
I kaukilar ai jaraui pan me pak, me I jota pan likam on Dawid.
36 His see shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me;
Kadaudok a pan joutuk, o mol a dueta katipin mo i.
37 and as the moon [that is] established for ever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. (Pause)
A pan duedueta dueta jaunipon; o jaunkadede nan tapok kan me melel.
38 But you have cast off and set at nothing, you has rejected your anointed.
A met komui kajapokela o onioni japwilim omui me keidier.
39 You have overthrown the covenant of your servant; you has profaned his sanctuary, [casting it] to the ground.
Kom kotin kajela inau en omui ladu, o kom kotin kajaminela mar a.
40 You have broken down all his hedges; you have made his strong holds a terror.
Kom kotin karonk pajan a kel akan karoj, o kawelar a im teneten kan.
41 All that go by the way have spoiled him: he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
Karoj me daulier waja o kulia janer; a wialar kankaurur on men imp a kan.
42 You have exalted the right hand of his enemies; you have made all his enemies to rejoice.
Kom kotin pokada pali maun en me palian i, o kaperen dar a imwintiti kan karoj.
43 You have turned back the help of his sword, and have not helped him in the battle.
Kom pil kotiki janer mana en a kodlaj kon, o jota kapwaiada i ni pei.
44 You have deprived him of glory: you have broken down his throne to the ground.
Kom kotin kaimwijokalar a linan, o kajedi on nan pwel mol a.
45 You have shortened the days of his throne: you have poured shame upon him. (Pause)
Kom kamotomotala ran en a manakap, o kadupalekidi i namenok.
46 How long, O Lord, will you turn away, for ever? shall your anger flame out as fire?
Arai da, Main Ieowa, me kom pan kotin karirela pein komui; arai da omui onion pan lulada dueta kijiniai?
47 Remember what my being is: for have you created all the sons of men in vain?
Kom kotin tamanda duen motomot en maur i; de me mal kot omui kotin wiadar aramaj akan?
48 What man is there who shall live, and not see death? shall [any one] deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? (Pause) (Sheol h7585)
Ij ol o, me maur ap jota pan lel on mela? A pan kak dorela pein i jan mana en wajan mela? (Sheol h7585)
49 Where are your ancient mercies, O Lord, which you sware to David in your truth?
Main, ia omui kalanan en maj o, me kom kotin inauki on Dawid ni omui melel?
50 Remember, O Lord, the reproach of your servants, which I have borne in my bosom, [even the reproach] of many nations;
Main, kotin tamanda kan kaurur en japwilim omui ladu kan jan ni wei toto, me kin katoutoui monion i.
51 wherewith your enemies have reviled, O Lord: wherewith they have reviled the recompense of your anointed.
Main Ieowa, iaduen lalauo en omui imwintiti kan, iduen ar lalaue lip en japwilim omui me keidier.
52 Blessed be the Lord for ever. So be it, so be it.
Kapin on Ieowa kokolata! Amen, iei Amen!
