Psalms 89
1 [A Psalm] of instruction for Aetham the Israelite. I will sing of your mercies, O Lord, for ever: I will declare your truth with my mouth to all generations.
| قصیده ایتان ازراحی رحمت های خداوند را تا به ابد خواهم سرایید. امانت تو را به دهان خود نسلابعد نسل اعلام خواهم کرد. | ۱ |
2 For you have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: your truth shall be established in the heavens.
| زیرا گفتم رحمت بنا خواهد شد تا ابدالاباد و امانت خویش را درافلاک پایدار خواهی ساخت. | ۲ |
3 I made a covenant with my chosen ones, I sware to David my servant.
| با برگزیده خودعهد بسته‌ام. برای بنده خویش داود قسم خورده‌ام. | ۳ |
4 I will establish your seed for ever, and build up your throne to all generations. (Pause)
| که ذریت تو را پایدار خواهم ساخت تا ابدالاباد و تخت تو را نسلا بعد نسل بنا خواهم نمود، سلاه. | ۴ |
5 The heavens shall declare your wonders, O Lord; and your truth in the assembly of the saints.
| و آسمانها کارهای عجیب تو را‌ای خداوند تمجید خواهند کرد و امانت تو را درجماعت مقدسان. | ۵ |
6 For who in the heavens shall be compared to the Lord? and who shall be likened to the Lord amongst the sons of God?
| زیرا کیست در آسمانها که باخداوند برابری تواند کرد؟ و از فرزندان زورآوران که را با خداوند تشبیه توان نمود؟ | ۶ |
7 God is glorified in the council of the saints; great and terrible towards all that are round about him.
| خدا بی‌نهایت مهیب است در جماعت مقدسان و ترسناک است بر آنانی که گرداگرد او هستند. | ۷ |
8 O Lord God of hosts, who is like to you? you are mighty, O Lord, and your truth is round about you.
| ای یهوه خدای لشکرها! کیست‌ای یاه قدیرمانند تو؟ و امانت تو، تو را احاطه می‌کند. | ۸ |
9 You rule the power of the sea; and you calm the tumult of its waves.
| برتکبر دریا تو مسلط هستی. چون امواجش بلندمی شود، آنها را ساکن می‌گردانی. | ۹ |
10 You has brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of your power you has scattered your enemies.
| رهب را مثل کشته شده خرد شکسته‌ای. به بازوی زورآورخویش دشمنانت را پراکنده نموده‌ای. | ۱۰ |
11 The heavens are your, and the earth is your: you have founded the world, and the fullness of it.
| آسمان از آن تو است و زمین نیز از آن تو. ربع مسکون وپری آن را تو بنیاد نهاده‌ای. | ۱۱ |
12 You have created the north and the west: Thabor and Hermon shall rejoice in your name.
| شمال و جنوب راتو آفریده‌ای. تابور و حرمون به نام تو شادی می‌کنند. | ۱۲ |
13 Your is the mighty arm: let your hand be strengthened, let your right hand be exalted.
| بازوی تو با قوت است. دست توزورآور است و دست راست تو متعال. | ۱۳ |
14 Justice and judgement are the establishment of your throne: mercy and truth shall go before your face.
| عدالت و انصاف اساس تخت تو است. رحمت و راستی پیش روی تو می‌خرامند. | ۱۴ |
15 Blessed is the people that knows the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of your countenance.
| خوشابحال قومی که آواز شادمانی رامی دانند. در نور روی توای خداوند خواهندخرامید. | ۱۵ |
16 And in your name shall they rejoice all the day: and in your righteousness shall they be exalted.
| در نام تو شادمان خواهند شد تمامی روز و در عدالت تو سرافراشته خواهند گردید. | ۱۶ |
17 For you are the boast of their strength; and in your good pleasure shall our horn be exalted,
| زیرا که فخر قوت ایشان تو هستی و به رضامندی تو شاخ ما مرتفع خواهد شد. | ۱۷ |
18 for [our] help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our king.
| زیراکه سپر ما از آن خداوند است و پادشاه ما از آن قدوس اسرائیل. | ۱۸ |
19 Then you spoke in vision to your children, and said, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of my people.
| آنگاه در عالم رویا به مقدس خود خطاب کرده، گفتی که نصرت را بر مردی زورآور نهادم و برگزیده‌ای از قوم را ممتاز کردم. | ۱۹ |
20 I have found David my servant; I have anointed him by [my] holy mercy.
| بنده خود داود را یافتم و او را به روغن مقدس خود مسح کردم. | ۲۰ |
21 For my hand shall support him; and mine arm shall strengthen him.
| که دست من با او استوارخواهد شد. بازوی من نیز او را قوی خواهدگردانید. | ۲۱ |
22 The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again.
| دشمنی بر او ستم نخواهد کرد و هیچ پسر ظلم بدو اذیت نخواهد رسانید. | ۲۲ |
23 And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him.
| و خصمان او را پیش روی وی خواهم گرفت و آنانی را که ازاو نفرت دارند مبتلا خواهم گردانید. | ۲۳ |
24 But my truth and my mercy shall be with him; and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
| و امانت ورحمت من با وی خواهد بود و در نام من شاخ اومرتفع خواهد شد. | ۲۴ |
25 And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
| دست او را بر دریا مستولی خواهم ساخت و دست راست او را بر نهرها. | ۲۵ |
26 He shall call upon me, [saying], You are my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation.
| او مرا خواهد خواند که تو پدر من هستی، خدای من و صخره نجات من. | ۲۶ |
27 And I will make him [my] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
| من نیز او رانخست زاده خود خواهم ساخت، بلندتر ازپادشاهان جهان. | ۲۷ |
28 I will keep my mercy for him for ever, and my covenant [shall be] firm with him.
| رحمت خویش را برای وی نگاه خواهم داشت تا ابدالاباد و عهد من با اواستوار خواهد بود. | ۲۸ |
29 And I will establish his seed for ever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
| و ذریت وی را باقی خواهم داشت تا ابدالاباد و تخت او را مثل روزهای آسمان. | ۲۹ |
30 If his children should forsake my law, and walk not in my judgements;
| اگر فرزندانش شریعت مرا ترک کنند، و دراحکام من سلوک ننمایند، | ۳۰ |
31 if they should profane my ordinances, and not keep my commandments;
| اگر فرایض مرابشکنند، و اوامر مرا نگاه ندارند، | ۳۱ |
32 I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges.
| آنگاه معصیت ایشان را به عصا تادیب خواهم نمود وگناه ایشان را به تازیانه‌ها. | ۳۲ |
33 But my mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong my truth.
| لیکن رحمت خود رااز او برنخواهم داشت و امانت خویش را باطل نخواهم ساخت. | ۳۳ |
34 Neither will I by any means profane my covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of my lips.
| عهد خود را نخواهم شکست و آنچه را از دهانم صادر شد تغییر نخواهم داد. | ۳۴ |
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness, that I will not lie to David.
| یک چیز را به قدوسیت خود قسم خوردم و به داود هرگز دروغ نخواهم گفت. | ۳۵ |
36 His see shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me;
| که ذریت اوباقی خواهد بود تا ابدالاباد و تخت او به حضورمن مثل آفتاب، | ۳۶ |
37 and as the moon [that is] established for ever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. (Pause)
| مثل ماه ثابت خواهد بود تاابدالاباد و مثل شاهد امین در آسمان، سلاه. | ۳۷ |
38 But you have cast off and set at nothing, you has rejected your anointed.
| لیکن تو ترک کرده‌ای و دور انداخته‌ای و بامسیح خود غضبناک شده‌ای. | ۳۸ |
39 You have overthrown the covenant of your servant; you has profaned his sanctuary, [casting it] to the ground.
| عهد بنده خودرا باطل ساخته‌ای و تاج او را بر زمین انداخته، بی‌عصمت کرده‌ای. | ۳۹ |
40 You have broken down all his hedges; you have made his strong holds a terror.
| جمیع حصارهایش راشکسته و قلعه های او را خراب نموده‌ای. | ۴۰ |
41 All that go by the way have spoiled him: he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
| همه راه گذران او را تاراج می‌کنند و او نزد همسایگان خود عار گردیده است. | ۴۱ |
42 You have exalted the right hand of his enemies; you have made all his enemies to rejoice.
| دست راست خصمان او را برافراشته، و همه دشمنانش را مسرورساخته‌ای. | ۴۲ |
43 You have turned back the help of his sword, and have not helped him in the battle.
| دم شمشیر او را نیز برگردانیده‌ای واو را در جنگ پایدار نساخته‌ای. | ۴۳ |
44 You have deprived him of glory: you have broken down his throne to the ground.
| جلال او راباطل ساخته و تخت او را به زمین انداخته‌ای. | ۴۴ |
45 You have shortened the days of his throne: you have poured shame upon him. (Pause)
| ایام شبابش را کوتاه کرده، و او را به خجالت پوشانیده‌ای، سلاه. | ۴۵ |
46 How long, O Lord, will you turn away, for ever? shall your anger flame out as fire?
| تا به کی‌ای خداوند خود را تا به ابد پنهان خواهی کرد و غضب تو مثل آتش افروخته خواهد شد؟ | ۴۶ |
47 Remember what my being is: for have you created all the sons of men in vain?
| به یاد آور که ایام حیاتم چه کم است. چرا تمامی بنی آدم را برای بطالت آفریده‌ای؟ | ۴۷ |
48 What man is there who shall live, and not see death? shall [any one] deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? (Pause) (Sheol h7585)
| کدام آدمی زنده است که موت رانخواهد دید؟ و جان خویش را از دست قبرخلاص خواهد ساخت؟ سلاه. (Sheol h7585) | ۴۸ |
49 Where are your ancient mercies, O Lord, which you sware to David in your truth?
| ای خداوندرحمت های قدیم تو کجاست؟ که برای داود به امانت خود قسم خوردی. | ۴۹ |
50 Remember, O Lord, the reproach of your servants, which I have borne in my bosom, [even the reproach] of many nations;
| ای خداوند ملامت بنده خود را به یاد آور که آن را از قومهای بسیاردر سینه خود متحمل می‌باشم. | ۵۰ |
51 wherewith your enemies have reviled, O Lord: wherewith they have reviled the recompense of your anointed.
| که دشمنان توای خداوند ملامت کرده‌اند، یعنی آثار مسیح تورا ملامت نموده‌اند. | ۵۱ |
52 Blessed be the Lord for ever. So be it, so be it.
| خداوند متبارک باد تاابدالاباد. آمین و آمین. | ۵۲ |
