Psalms 70

1 For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me. Draw near, O God, to my help.

Jusqu'à la Fin, souvenir de David. Pour que le Seigneur me sauve. Ô Dieu mon secours, hâte-toi de t'approcher. secourir.

2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.

Qu'ils soient humiliés et confondus, ceux qui cherchent mon âme. Qu'ils soient mis en fuite et couverts de honte, ceux qui me veulent du mal;

3 Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.

Qu'ils tournent le dos et soient soudain couverts de honte, ceux qui me disent: Ha! ha!

4 Let all that seek you exult and be glad in you: and let those that love your salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

Que tous ceux qui te cherchent se réjouissent et se complaisent en toi; que ceux qui aiment ton salut disent à jamais: Dieu soit glorifié!

5 But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: you are my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.

Pour moi, je suis indigent et pauvre; ô mon Dieu, secours-moi; tu es mon champion et mon défenseur; Seigneur, ne tarde pas!
