< Psalms 43 >

1 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O God, and plead my cause, against an ungodly nation: deliver me from the unjust and crafty man.
Dá mi láre, Ọlọ́run mi, kí o sì gba ọ̀rọ̀ mi rò lọ́dọ̀ àwọn aláìláàánú orílẹ̀-èdè: yọ mí kúrò lọ́wọ́ ẹlẹ́tàn àti àwọn ènìyàn búburú.
2 For you, O God, are my strength: therefore have you cast me off? and why do I go sad of countenance, while the enemy oppresses [me]?
Ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run ibi agbára mi. Èéṣe tí ìwọ fi kọ̀ mi sílẹ̀? Èéṣe tí èmi yóò máa rìn nínú ìbìnújẹ́, nítorí ìnilára lọ́dọ̀ àwọn ọ̀tá?
3 Send forth your light and your truth: they have led me, and brought me to your holy mountain, and to your tabernacles.
Rán ìmọ́lẹ̀ àti òtítọ́ rẹ jáde, jẹ́ kí wọn ó máa dáàbò bò mí; jẹ́ kí wọn mú mi wá sí òkè mímọ́ rẹ, sí ibi tí ìwọ ń gbé.
4 And I will go in to the altar of God, to God who gladdens my youth: I will give thanks to you on the harp, O God, my God.
Nígbà náà ni èmi ó lọ sí ibi pẹpẹ Ọlọ́run, sí Ọlọ́run ayọ̀ mi àti ìdùnnú mi, èmi yóò yìn ọ́ pẹ̀lú dùùrù, ìwọ Ọlọ́run, Ọlọ́run mi.
5 Therefore are you very sad, O my soul? and therefore do you trouble me? Hope in God; for I will give thanks to him, [who is] the health of my countenance, [and] my God.
Èéṣe tí o fi ń rẹ̀wẹ̀sì, ìwọ ọkàn mí? Èéṣe tí ó fi ń ru sókè nínú mi? Fi ìrètí rẹ sínú Ọlọ́run, nítorí èmi yóò máa yìn ín, Òun ni Olùgbàlà mi àti Ọlọ́run mi.
