Psalms 19
1 For the end, a Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.
Các từng trời rao truyền sự vinh hiển của Ðức Chúa Trời, Bầu trời giải tỏ công việc tay Ngài làm.
2 Day to day utters speech, and night to night proclaims knowledge.
Ngày nầy giảng cho ngày kia, Ðêm nầy tỏ sự tri thức cho đêm nọ.
3 There are no speeches or words, in which their voices are not heard.
Chẳng có tiếng, chẳng có lời nói; Cũng không ai nghe tiếng của chúng nó.
4 Their voice is gone out into all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
Dây do chúng nó bủa khắp trái đất, Và lời nói chúng nó truyền đến cực địa. Nơi chúng nó Ngài đã đóng trại cho mặt trời;
5 In the sun he has set his tabernacle; and he comes forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber: he will exult as a giant to run his course.
Mặt trời khác nào người tân lang ra khỏi phòng huê chúc, Vui mừng chạy đua như người dõng sĩ.
6 His going forth is from the extremity of heaven, and his circuit to the [other] end of heaven: and no one shall be hidden from his heat.
Mặt trời ra từ phương trời nầy, Chạy vòng giáp đến phương trời kia; Chẳng chi tránh khỏi hơi nóng mặt trời được.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting souls: the testimony of the Lord is faithful, instructing babes.
Luật pháp của Ðức Giê-hô-va là trọn vẹn, bổ linh hồn lại; Sự chứng cớ Ðức Giê-hô-va là chắc chắn, làm cho kẻ ngu dại trở nên khôn ngoan.
8 The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes.
Giềng mối của Ðức Giê-hô-va là ngay thẳng, làm cho lòng vui mừng; Ðiều răn của Ðức Giê-hô-va trong sạch, làm cho mắt sáng sủa.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring for ever and ever: the judgements of the Lord are true, [and] justified altogether.
Sự kính sợ Ðức Giê-hô-va là trong sạch, hằng còn đến đời đời; Các mạng lịnh của Ðức Giê-hô-va là chân thật, thảy đều công bình cả.
10 To be desired more than gold, and much precious stone: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.
Các điều ấy quí hơn vàng, thật báu hơn vàng ròng; Lại ngọt hơn mật, hơn nước ngọt của tàng ong.
11 For your servant keeps to them: in the keeping of them [there is] great reward.
Các điều ấy dạy cho kẻ tôi tớ Chúa được thông hiểu; Ai gìn giữ lấy, được phần phương lớn thay.
12 Who will understand [his] transgressions? purge you me from my secret [sins].
Ai biết được các sự sai lầm mình? Xin Chúa tha các lỗi tôi không biết.
13 And spare your servant [the attack] of strangers: if they do not gain the dominion over me, then shall I be blameless, and I shall be clear from great sin.
Xin Chúa giữ kẻ tôi tớ Chúa khỏi cố ý phạm tội; Nguyện tội ấy không cai trị tôi; Thì tôi sẽ không chỗ trách được, và không phạm tội trọng.
14 So shall the sayings of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing continually before you, O Lord my helper, and my redeemer.
Hỡi Ðức Giê-hô-va là hòn đá tôi, và là Ðấng cứu chuộc tôi, Nguyện lời nói của miệng tôi, Sự suy gẫm của lòng tôi được đẹp ý Ngài!
