< Psalms 113 >

1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, you servants [of his], praise, the name of the Lord.
Mutendereze Mukama! Mumutendereze, mmwe abaweereza be, mutendereze erinnya lya Mukama.
2 Let the name of the Lord be blessed, from this present time and for ever.
Erinnya lya Mukama litenderezebwe okuva leero n’okutuusa emirembe gyonna.
3 From the rising of the sun to his setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
Enjuba weeviirayo okutuusa bw’egwa, erinnya lya Mukama litenderezebwenga.
4 The Lord is high above all the nations; his glory is above the heavens.
Mukama agulumizibwa okusinga amawanga gonna, era n’ekitiibwa kye kisinga eggulu.
5 Who is as the Lord our God? who dwells in the high places,
Ani afaanana nga Mukama Katonda waffe, atuula ku ntebe ye ey’obwakabaka eri waggulu ennyo,
6 and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth:
ne yeetoowaza okutunuulira eggulu n’ensi?
7 who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill;
Abaavu abayimusa n’abaggya mu nfuufu; n’abali mu kwetaaga n’abasitula ng’abaggya mu vvu,
8 to set him with princes, [even] with the princes of his people:
n’abatuuza wamu n’abalangira, awamu n’abalangira abo abafuga abantu be.
9 who settles the barren [woman] in a house, [as] a mother rejoicing over children.
Omukazi omugumba amuwa abaana, n’abeera mu maka ge n’ezzadde lye ng’ajjudde essanyu. Mutendereze Mukama!
