Psalms 105
1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, and call upon his name; declare his works amongst the heathen.
Hãy ngợi khen Ðức Giê-hô-va, cầu khẩn danh của Ngài; Khá truyền ra giữa các dân những công việc Ngài!
2 Sing to him, yes, sing praises to him: tell forth all his wonderful works.
Hãy hát, hãy hát cho Ngài những bài ca! Khá nói về các việc lạ lùng của Ngài.
3 Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them that seek the Lord rejoice.
Hãy khoe mình về danh thánh Ngài; Nguyện lòng kẻ nào tìm cầu Ðức Giê-hô-va được khoái lạc!
4 Seek you the Lord, and be strengthened; seek his face continually.
Hãy cầu Ðức Giê-hô-va và quyền phép Ngài, Hãy tìm kiếm mặt Ngài luôn luôn.
5 Remember his wonderful works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgements of his mouth;
Hỡi dòng dõi Áp-ra-ham, là kẻ tôi tớ Ngài, Hỡi con cháu Gia-cốp, là kẻ Ngài chọn,
6 [you] seed of Abraam, his servants, [you] children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
Hãy nhớ lại những việc lạ lùng Ngài đã làm, Các dấu kỳ và đoán ngữ mà miệng Ngài đã phán.
7 He is the Lord our God; his judgements are in all the earth.
Ngài là Giê-hô-va, Ðức Chúa Trời chúng tôi; Sự đoán xét Ngài ở khắp trái đất.
8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generation:
Ngài nhớ đến sự giao ước Ngài luôn luôn, Hồi tưởng lời phán dặn Ngài cho đến ngàn đời,
9 which he established as a covenant to Abraam, and [he remembered] his oath to Isaac.
Tức là giao ước Ngài đã lập với Áp-ra-ham, Ðã thề cùng Y-sác,
10 And he established it to Jacob for an ordinance, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
Ðịnh cho Gia-cốp làm lý lẽ, Và lập cho Y-sơ-ra-ên làm giao ước đời đời,
11 saying To you will I give the land of Chanaan, the line of your inheritance:
Mà rằng: Ta sẽ ban cho ngươi xứ Ca-na-an, Là phần sản nghiệp các ngươi;
12 when they were few in number, very few, and sojourners in it.
Lúc ấy họ chỉ là một số ít người, Không đông đảo và làm khách lạ trong xứ,
13 And they went from nation to nation, and from [one] kingdom to another people.
Ði từ dân nầy đến dân kia, Từ nước nầy qua nước khác.
14 He suffered no man to wrong them; and he rebuked kings for their sakes:
Ngài không cho ai hà hiếp họ; Ngài trách các vua vì cớ họ,
15 [saying], Touch not my anointed ones; and do my prophets no harm.
Mà rằng: Ðừng đụng đến kẻ chịu xức dầu ta, Chớ làm hại các đấng tiên tri ta.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole support of bread.
Ngài khiến cơn đói kém giáng trong xứ, Và cất hết cả lương thực.
17 He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a slave.
Ngài sai một người đi trước Y-sơ-ra-ên, Là Giô-sép bị bán làm tôi mọi.
18 They hurt his feet with fetters; his soul passed into iron,
Người ta cột chơn người vào cùm, Làm cho người bị còng xiềng,
19 until the time that his cause came on; the word of the Lord tried him as fire.
Cho đến ngày điều người đã nói được ứng nghiệm: Lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va rèn thử người.
20 The king sent and loosed him; [even] the prince of the people, and let him go free.
Vua sai tha Giô-sép; Ðấng cai trị các dân giải-tha người.
21 He made him Lord over his house, and ruler of all his substance;
Vua lập người làm quản gia, Làm quan cai trị hết thảy tài sản mình,
22 to chastise his rulers at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
Ðặng mặc ý người trói buộc quần thần, Và lấy sự khôn ngoan dạy dỗ các trưởng lão.
23 Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Cham.
Bấy giờ Y-sơ-ra-ên cũng vào Ê-díp-tô; Gia-cốp ngụ tại trong xứ Cham.
24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.
Ðức Giê-hô-va làm cho dân sự Ngài thêm nhiều, Khiến họ mạnh mẽ hơn kẻ hà hiếp họ.
25 And he turned their heart to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.
Ðoạn Ngài đổi lòng người Ê-díp-tô đặng chúng nó ghét dân sự Ngài, Lập mưu hại các tôi tớ Ngài.
26 He sent fort Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
Ngài sai Môi-se tôi tớ Ngài, Và A-rôn mà Ngài đã chọn.
27 He established amongst them his signs, and [his] wonders in the land of Cham.
Trong xứ Cham, tại giữa Ê-díp-tô, Hai người làm các dấu kỳ và phép lạ của Ngài.
28 He sent forth darkness, and made it dark; yet they rebelled against his words.
Ngài giáng xuống sự tối tăm và làm ra mờ mịt; Còn họ không bội nghịch lời của Ngài.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
Ngài đổi nước chúng nó ra máu, Và giết chết cá của chúng nó.
30 Their land produced frogs abundantly, in the chambers of their kings.
Ðất chúng nó sanh ếch nhiều lúc nhúc, Cho đến trong phòng cung thất vua cũng có.
31 He spoke, and the dog-fly came, and lice in all their coasts.
Ngài phán, bèn có ruồi mòng bay đến, Và muỗi trong các bờ cõi chúng nó.
32 He turned their rain into hail, [and sent] flaming fire in their land.
Thay vì mưa, Ngài giáng mưa đá, Và lửa ngọn trong cả xứ.
33 And he struck their vines and their fig trees; and broke every tree of their coast.
Ngài cũng hại vườn nho và cây vả, Bẻ gãy cây cối tại bờ cõi chúng nó.
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and caterpillars innumerable,
Ngài phán, bèn có châu chấu, Và cào cào bay đến vô số,
35 and devoured all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruit of the ground.
Cắn-sả hết thảy cây cỏ trong xứ, Và phá hại bông trái của đất chúng nó.
36 He struck also every firstborn of their land, the first fruits of all their labour.
Ngài cũng đánh giết hết thảy con đầu lòng trong xứ, Tức là cả cường-tráng sanh đầu của chúng nó.
37 And he brought them out with silver and gold; and there was not a feeble one amongst their tribes.
Ðoạn Ngài dẫn Y-sơ-ra-ên ra có cầm bạc và vàng; Chẳng một ai yếu mỏn trong các chi phái của Ngài.
38 Egypt rejoiced at their departing; for the fear of them fell upon them.
Ê-díp-tô vui vẻ khi đến Y-sơ-ra-ên đi ra; Vì cơn kinh khủng bởi Y-sơ-ra-ên đã giáng trên chúng nó.
39 He spread out a cloud for a covering to them, and fire to give them light by night.
Ngài bủa mây ra để che chở, Và ban đêm có lửa soi sáng.
40 They asked, and the quail came, and he satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Chúng nó cầu xin, Ngài bèn khiến những con cút đến, Và lấy bánh trời mà cho chúng nó ăn no nê.
41 He clave the rock, and the waters flowed, rivers ran in dry places.
Ngài khai hòn đá, nước bèn phun ra, Chảy ngang qua nơi khô khác nào cái sông.
42 For he remembered his holy word, which [he promised] to Abraam his servant.
Vì Ngài nhớ lại lời thánh Ngài, Và hồi tưởng Áp-ra-ham, là kẻ tôi tớ Ngài.
43 And he brought out his people with exultation, and his chosen with joy;
Ngài dẫn dân Ngài ra cách hớn hở, Dắt kẻ Ngài chọn ra với bài hát thắng trận.
44 and gave them the lands of the heathen; and they inherited the labours of the people;
Ngài ban cho họ đất của nhiều nước, Họ nhận được công lao của các dân;
45 that they might keep his ordinances, and diligently seek his law.
Hầu cho họ gìn giữ các luật lệ Ngài, Và vâng theo những luật pháp Ngài. Ha-lê-lu-gia!
