< Judges 5 >

1 And Debbora and Barac son of Abineem sang in that day, saying,
Iti dayta nga aldaw, kinanta ni Debora ken Barak a putot a lalaki ni Abinoam daytoy a kanta:
2 A revelation was made in Israel when the people were made willing: Praise you the Lord.
“Idi nangidaulo dagiti mangidadaulo ti Israel, idi situtulok a nakigubat dagiti tattao—idaydayawtayo ni Yahweh!
3 Hear, you kings, and listen, rulers: I will sing, it is I [who will sing] to the Lord, it is I, I will sing a psalm to the Lord the god of Israel.
Dumngegkayo, dakayo nga ar-ari! Agdengngegkayo, dakayo a mangidadaulo! Siak, agkantaak kenni Yahweh; Agkantaak iti pangdaydayaw kenni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel.
4 O Lord, in your going forth on Seir, when you went forth out of the land of Edom, the earth quaked and the heaven dropped dews, and the clouds dropped water.
O Yahweh, idi rimmuarka manipud Seir, idi nagnaka manipud Edom, naggun-gon ti daga, ken nagpigerger met dagiti tangatang; nagibuyat met iti danum dagiti ulep.
5 The mountains were shaken before the face of the Lord Eloi, this Sina before the face of the Lord God of Israel.
Naggin-gined dagiti bantay iti sangoanan ti rupa ni Yahweh; naggin-gined uray ti Bantay Sinai iti sangoanan ti rupa ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel.
6 In the days of Samegar son of Anath, in the days of Jael, they deserted the ways, and went in by-ways; they went in crooked paths.
Kadagiti al-aldaw ni Samgar (putot a lalaki ni Anat), kadagiti al-aldaw ni Jael, napanawan dagiti kangrunaan a daldalan, ket magna laeng dagiti agdaldaliasat kadagiti nalikaw a pagnaan.
7 The mighty men in Israel failed, they failed until Debbora arose, until she arose a mother in Israel.
Awanen dagiti taga-away idiay Israel, agingga a siak, a ni Debora, nangidauloak—maysa nga ina ti nangidaulo iti Israel!
8 They chose new gods; then the cities of rulers fought; there was not a shield or spear seen amongst forty thousand in Israel.
Pinilida dagiti baro a dios, ken adda panagraranget kadagiti ruangan ti siudad; awan iti kalasag wenno gayang a makita kadagiti uppat a pulo a ribu iti Israel.
9 My heart [inclines] to the orders given in Israel; you that are willing amongst the people, bless the Lord.
Adda ti pusok kadagiti pangulo ti Israel, kasta met kadagiti tattao a situtulok a nakigubat—idaydayawtayo ni Yahweh gapu kadakuada!
10 You that mount a she-ass at noon-day, you that sit on the judgement-seat, and walk by the roads of them that sit in judgement by the way; declare
Panunotenyo daytoy—dakayo nga agsaksakay kadagiti puraw nga asno nga agtugtugaw kadagiti napuskol a lupot iti silyeta, ken dakayo a magmagna iti dalan.
11 [you that are delivered] from the noise of disturbers amongst the drawers of water; there shall they relate righteous acts: O Lord, increase righteous acts in Israel: then the people of the Lord went down to the cities.
Denggenyo dagiti timek dagiti mangbingbingay kadagiti karnero kadagiti disso a paginuman. Ibagada manen sadiay dagiti nalinteg nga ar-aramid ni Yahweh, ken dagiti nalinteg a tigtignay dagiti mannakigubatna iti Israel. Kalpasanna, simmalog dagiti tattao ni Yahweh kadagiti ruangan iti siudad.
12 Awake, awake, Debbora; awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barac, and lead your captivity captive, son of Abineem.
Agriingka, agriingka, Debora! Agriingka, agriingka, agkantaka! Tumakderka Barak, ket tiliwem dagiti baludmo, sika a putot a lalaki ni Abinoam.
13 Then went down the remnant to the strong, the people of the Lord went down for him amongst the mighty ones from me.
Ket simmalog dagiti nakalasat kadagiti natakneng—simmalog dagiti tattao ni Yahweh kaniak manipud kadagiti mannakigubat.
14 Ephraim rooted them out in Amalec, behind you was Benjamin amongst your people: the inhabitants of Machir came down with me searching out the enemy, and from Zabulon came they that draw with the scribe's pen of record.
Naggapuda idiay Efraim, isuda dagiti adda ti ramutna iti Amalek; sinurotdakayo dagiti tattao ti Benjamin. Simmalog dagiti pangulo manipud Makir, ken simmalog manipud Zabulon dagiti mangaw-awit iti sarukod ti ofisial.
15 And princess in Issachar were with Debbora and Barac, thus she sent Barac on his feet in the valleys into the portions of Ruben; great [pangs] reached to the heart.
Ken kadua ni Debora dagiti prinsipek manipud Issacar; ket kimmuyog ti Issacar kenni Barak nga agdardarasda a simmurot kenkuana iti tanap iti panangidaulona. Adda dakkel a panangsukimat iti puso kadagiti tribu ti Ruben.
16 Why did they sit between the sheepfolds to hear the bleating of flocks for the divisions of Ruben? [there were] great searchings of heart.
Apay nga agtugtugawka iti nagbaetan dagiti paginudoan, a dumdumngeg iti panangtokar dagiti agpaspastor kadagiti plautada para kadagiti arbanda? Kadagiti met puli ti Ruben, adda dakkel a panangsukimat iti puso.
17 Galaad [is] on the other side of Jordan where he pitched his tents; and why does Dan remain in ships? Aser sat down on the sea-coasts, and he will tabernacle at his ports.
Nagtalinaed ti Galaad iti bangir a paset ti Jordan; ket ni Dan, apay a nagal-alla kadagiti barko? Nagtalinaed ti Aser iti igid ti baybay ket nagnaed iti asideg dagiti sangladanna.
18 The people Zabulon exposed their soul to death, and Nephthali came to the high places of their land.
Ti Zabulon ket tribu a nakasagana a mangipusta iti biagda nga uray matayda ken kasta met ti Neftali iti paggugubatan.
19 Kings set themselves in array, then the kings of Chanaan fought in Thanaach at the water of Mageddo; they took no gift of money.
Immay ken nakiranget dagiti ari, ket nakiranget dagiti ari ti Canaan, idiay Taanac iti asideg dagiti dandanum ti Megiddo. Ngem awan sinamsamda nga uray maysa a pirak.
20 The stars from heaven set themselves in array, they set themselves [to fight] with Sisara out of their paths.
Nakiranget dagiti bituen manipud langit, manipud kadagiti dalanda kadagiti langit, nakirangetda maibusor kenni Sisera.
21 The brook of Kison swept them away, the ancient brook, the brook Kison: my mighty soul will trample him down.
Inyanud ida ti Karayan Kison, dayta a nabayagen a karayan, a Karayan Kison. Magnaka O kararuak, bumilegka!
22 When the hoofs of the horse were entangled, his mighty ones earnestly hasted
Ket dumalagudog ti uni ti kuko dagiti kabalio—dumalagudog, ti dalagudog dagiti mamaingelna.
23 to curse Meroz: Curse you [it], said the angel of the Lord; cursed [is] every one that dwells in it, because they came not to the help of the Lord, to his help amongst the mighty.
'Ilunodyo ti Meroz!' kunkuna ti anghel ni Yahweh. 'Siguradoenyo nga ilunodyo dagiti agnanaed iti daytoy! —gapu ta saanda nga immay timmulong kenni Yahweh—tapno tumulong kenni Yahweh iti pannakigubat maibusor kadagiti nabileg a mannakigubat.'
24 Blessed amongst women be Jael wife of Chaber the Kenite; let her be blessed above women in tents.
Ad-adda a nabendisionan ni Jael ngem kadagiti amin a dadduma pay a babbai, ni Jael (nga asawa ni Heber a Kineo), ad-adda a nabendisionan isuna ngem kadagiti amin a babbai nga agnaed kadagiti tolda.
25 He asked for water, she gave him milk in a dish; she brought butter of princes.
Dimmawat ti lalaki iti danum, ket inikkanna isuna iti gatas; inikkanna isuna iti mantikilia a naikarga iti mallukong a maikari kadagiti prinsipe.
26 She stretched forth her left hand to the nail, and her right to the hand workman's hammer, and she struck Sisara with it, she nailed through his head and struck him; she nailed through his temples.
Inkabilna ti imana iti pasok ti tolda, ken ti makannawan nga imana iti martilio ti agtrabtrabaho; babaen iti martilio, dinangranna ni Sisera, rinumekna ti ulona. Binurakna ti bangabangana idi tinudokna a simmalput iti pispisna.
27 He rolled down between her feet; he fell and lay between her feet; he bowed and fell: where he bowed, there he fell dead.
Napasag isuna iti nagbaetan dagiti sakana, natuang isuna ket nagidda sadiay. Iti nagbaetan dagiti sakana ti nagkapsutanna. Ti lugar a nakapasaganna ket isu ti siraranggas a nakatayannna.
28 The mother of Sisara looked down through the window out of the loophole, [saying], Why was his chariot ashamed? why did the wheels of his chariots wait?
Timman-aw isuna iti tawa—kimmita iti rehas ti tawa ti ina ni Sisera ket sililiday nga immawag, 'Apay a nagbayag a sumangpet ti karuahena? Apay a naitantan ti dalagudog dagiti kabalio a mangguyguyod kadagiti karuahena?'
29 Her wise ladies answered her, and she returned answers to herself, [saying],
Simmungbat dagiti kasisiriban a prinsesana, ngem isu met laeng ti insungbatna iti bagina:
30 Will they not find him dividing the spoil? he will surely be gracious to every man: [there are] spoils of dyed garments for Sisara, spoils of various dyed garments, dyed embroidered garments, they [are] the spoils for his neck.
'Saanda kadi pay a nabirokan ken nabingbingay ti nasamsam? —Maysa nga aanakan, dua nga aanakan para iti tunggal lalaki; ti natinaan a lupot a nasamsam para kenni Sisera, ti nasamsam a natinaan a naburdaan a lupot, dua a pidaso ti natinaan a naburdaan a lupot para iti tengnged dagiti nagsamsam?'
31 Thus let all your enemies perish, O Lord: and they that love him shall be as the going forth of the sun in his strength. And the land had rest forty years.
Mapukaw koma ngarud amin dagiti kabusormo, O Yahweh! Ngem agbalin koma dagiti mangayat kenkuana a kasla iti init no agsingising daytoy iti pigsana.” Ket naaddaan iti kapia ti daga iti uppat a pulo a tawen.
