Esias 33
1 Woe to them that afflict you; but no one makes you miserable: and he that deals perfidiously with you does not deal perfidiously: they that deal perfidiously shall be taken and given up, and as a moth on a garment, so shall they be spoiled.
൧സാഹസം അനുഭവിക്കാതെ സാഹസം ചെയ്യുകയും നിന്നോട് ആരും ദ്രോഹം പ്രവർത്തിക്കാതെ ദ്രോഹം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവനേ, നിനക്ക് അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നീ സാഹസം ചെയ്യുന്നതു നിർത്തുമ്പോൾ നിന്നെയും സാഹസം ചെയ്യും; നീ ദ്രോഹം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു മതിയാക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്നോടും ദ്രോഹം പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.
2 Lord, have mercy upon us; for we have trusted in you: the seed of the rebellious is gone to destruction, but our deliverance was in a time of affliction.
൨യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകണമേ; ഞങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; രാവിലെതോറും അങ്ങ് അവർക്ക് ഭുജവും കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു രക്ഷയും ആയിരിക്കണമേ.
3 By reason of the terrible sound the nations were dismayed for fear of you, and the heathen were scattered.
൩കോലാഹലം ഹേതുവായി വംശങ്ങൾ ഓടിപ്പോയി; അങ്ങ് എഴുന്നേറ്റപ്പോൾ ജനതകൾ ചിതറിപ്പോയി.
4 And now shall the spoils of your small and great be gathered: as if one should gather locusts, so shall they mock you.
൪തുള്ളനെ ശേഖരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കവർച്ച ശേഖരിക്കപ്പെടും; വെട്ടുക്കിളി ചാടി വീഴുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ അതിന്മേൽ ചാടിവീഴും.
5 The God who dwells on high is holy: Sion is filled with judgement and righteousness.
൫യഹോവ ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഉയരത്തിലല്ലയോ അവിടുന്ന് വസിക്കുന്നത്; അവിടുന്ന് സീയോനെ ന്യായവും നീതിയുംകൊണ്ടു നിറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
6 They shall be delivered up to the law: our salvation is our treasure: there are wisdom and knowledge and piety towards the Lord; these are the treasures of righteousness.
൬നിന്റെ കാലത്ത് സ്ഥിരതയും രക്ഷാസമൃദ്ധിയും ജ്ഞാനവും പരിജ്ഞാനവും ഉണ്ടാകും; യഹോവാഭക്തി നിങ്ങളുടെ നിക്ഷേപം ആയിരിക്കും.
7 Behold now, these shall be terrified with fear of you: those whom you feared shall cry out because of you: messengers shall be sent, bitterly weeping, entreating for peace.
൭ഇതാ അവരുടെ ശൗര്യവാന്മാർ പുറത്തു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാർ അതിദുഃഖത്തോടെ കരയുന്നു.
8 For the ways of these shall be made desolate: the terror of the nations has been made to cease, and the covenant with these is taken away, and you shall by no means deem them men.
൮പ്രധാനപാതകൾ ശൂന്യമായിക്കിടക്കുന്നു; വഴിപോക്കർ ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ഉടമ്പടി ലംഘിച്ചു, പട്ടണങ്ങളെ നിന്ദിച്ചു: ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെയും അവിടുന്ന് ആദരിക്കുന്നില്ല.
9 The land mourns; Libanus is ashamed: Saron is become marshes; Galilee shall be laid bare, and Chermel.
൯ദേശം ദുഃഖിച്ചു ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു; ലെബാനോൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചു വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു; ശാരോൻ മരുഭൂമിപോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; ബാശാനും കർമ്മേലും ഇലപൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
10 Now will I arise, says the Lord, now will I be glorified; now will I be exalted.
൧൦“ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നെ ഉയർത്തും; ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കും” എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
11 Now shall you see, now shall you perceive; the strength of your breath, shall be vain; fire shall devour you.
൧൧“നിങ്ങൾ കച്ചിയെ ഗർഭംധരിച്ചു കച്ചികുറ്റിയെ പ്രസവിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ശ്വാസം തീയായി നിങ്ങളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
12 And the nations shall be burnt up; as a thorn in the field cast out and burnt up.
൧൨വംശങ്ങൾ കുമ്മായം ചുടുന്നതുപോലെ ആകും; വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞ മുള്ളുപോലെ അവരെ തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയും”.
13 They that are afar off shall hear what I have done; they that draw near shall know my strength.
൧൩ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ചെയ്തതു കേൾക്കുവിൻ; സമീപസ്ഥന്മാരേ, എന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ ഗ്രഹിക്കുവിൻ.
14 The sinners in Sion have departed; trembling shall seize the ungodly. Who will tell you that a fire is kindled? Who will tell you of the eternal place?
൧൪സീയോനിലെ പാപികൾ പേടിക്കുന്നു; വഷളന്മാരായവർക്കു നടുക്കം പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; “നമ്മിൽ ആര് ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വസിക്കും? നമ്മിൽ ആര് നിത്യദഹനങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വസിക്കും?”
15 He that walks in righteousness, speaking rightly, hating transgression and iniquity, and shaking his hands from gifts, stopping his ears that he should not hear the judgement of blood, shutting his eyes that he should not see injustice.
൧൫നീതിയായി നടന്നു നേര് പറയുകയും പീഡനത്താൽ ഉള്ള ആദായം വെറുക്കുകയും കൈക്കൂലിവാങ്ങാതെ കൈ കുടഞ്ഞുകളയുകയും രക്ത പാതകത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കാത്തവിധം ചെവി പൊത്തുകയും ദോഷത്തെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കാത്തവിധം കണ്ണ് അടച്ചുകളയുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ;
16 he shall dwell in a high cave of a strong rock: bread shall be given him, and his water shall be sure.
൧൬ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവൻ ഉയരത്തിൽ വസിക്കും; പാറക്കോട്ടകൾ അവന്റെ അഭയസ്ഥാനമായിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ അപ്പം അവനു കിട്ടും; അവനു വെള്ളം മുട്ടിപ്പോകുകയുമില്ല.
17 You shall see a king with glory: your eyes shall behold a land from afar.
൧൭നിന്റെ കണ്ണ് രാജാവിനെ അവന്റെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തോടെ ദർശിക്കും; വിശാലമായ ഒരു ദേശം കാണും.
18 Your soul shall meditate terror. Where are the scribes? where are the counsellors, where is he that numbers them that are growing up,
൧൮“പണം എണ്ണുന്നവൻ എവിടെ? തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നവൻ എവിടെ? ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുന്നവൻ എവിടെ?” എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഭീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു ധ്യാനിക്കും.
19 [even] the small and great people? with whom he took not counsel, neither did he understand [a people] of deep speech, so that a despised people should not hear, and there is no understanding to him that hears.
൧൯നീ തിരിച്ചറിയാത്ത പ്രയാസമുള്ള വാക്കും നിനക്ക് ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാത്ത അന്യഭാഷയും ഉള്ള ഉഗ്രജനതയെ നീ കാണുകയില്ല.
20 Behold the city of Sion, our refuge: your eyes shall behold Jerusalem, a rich city, tabernacles which shall not be shaken, neither shall the pins of her tabernacle be moved for ever, neither shall her cords be at all broken:
൨൦നമ്മുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളുടെ നഗരമായ സീയോനെ നോക്കുക; നിന്റെ കണ്ണ് യെരൂശലേമിനെ സ്വൈരനിവാസമായും ഒരിക്കലും നീങ്ങിപ്പോകാത്തതും കുറ്റി ഒരുനാളും ഇളകിപ്പോകാത്തതും കയറ് ഒന്നും പൊട്ടിപ്പോകാത്തതുമായ കൂടാരമായും കാണും.
21 for the name of the Lord is great to you: you shall have a place, [even] rivers and wide and spacious channels: you shall not go this way, neither a vessel with oars go [thereby].
൨൧അവിടെ മഹിമയുള്ളവനായ യഹോവ നമുക്കു വീതിയുള്ള നദികൾക്കും തോടുകൾക്കും പകരമായിരിക്കും; തുഴവച്ച പടക് അതിൽ പോവുകയില്ല; പ്രതാപമുള്ള കപ്പൽ അതിൽകൂടി കടന്നുപോവുകയുമില്ല.
22 For my God is great: the Lord our judge shall not pass me by: the Lord is our prince, the Lord is our king; the Lord, he shall save us.
൨൨യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായാധിപൻ; യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായദാതാവ്; യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ രാജാവ്; അവിടുന്ന് നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
23 Your cords are broken, for they had no strength: your meat has given way, it shall not spread the sails, it shall not bear a signal, until it be given up for plunder; therefore shall many lame men take spoil.
൨൩നിന്റെ കയറ് അഴിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നു; അതിനാൽ പാമരത്തെ ചുവട്ടിൽ ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൂടാ; പായ് നിവിർത്തുകൂടാ. പിടിച്ചുപറിച്ച വലിയ കൊള്ള അന്ന് വിഭാഗിക്കപ്പെടും; മുടന്തരും കൊള്ളയിടും.
24 And the people dwelling amongst them shall by no means say, I am in pain: for their sin shall be forgiven them.
൨൪“ഞാൻ രോഗിയാണ്” എന്നു യാതൊരു നിവാസിയും പറയുകയില്ല; അതിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന ജനത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം മോചിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും.
