Jezekiel 23
1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 Son of man, there were two women, daughters of one mother:
മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഒരമ്മയുടെ മക്കളായ രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
3 and they went a-whoring in Egypt in their youth: there their breasts fell, there they lost their virginity.
അവർ മിസ്രയീമിൽവെച്ചു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; യൌവനത്തിൽ തന്നേ അവർ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവിടെ അവരുടെ മുല പിടിച്ചു അവരുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി.
4 And their names were Oola the elder, and Ooliba her sister: and they were mine, and bore sons and daughters: and [as for] their names, Samaria was Oola, and Jerusalem was Ooliba.
അവരിൽ മൂത്തവൾക്കു ഒഹൊലാ എന്നും ഇളയവൎക്കു ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നും പേരായിരുന്നു; അവർ എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ പേരോ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നതു ശമൎയ്യയും ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നതു യെരൂശലേമും ആകുന്നു.
5 And Oola went a-whoring from me, and doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians that were her neighbours,
എന്നാൽ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നെ വിട്ടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു;
6 clothed with purple, princes and captains; [they were] young men and choice, all horseman riding on horses.
അവൾ ധൂമ്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരുമായ സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂൎയ്യജാരന്മാരെ മോഹിച്ചു.
7 And she bestowed her fornication upon them; all were choice sons of the Assyrians: and on whoever she doted herself, with them she defiled herself in all [their] devices.
അശ്ശൂൎയ്യശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരായവരോടു ഒക്കെയും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവിദ്യകളെ ചെലവഴിച്ചു, താൻ മോഹിച്ചുപോന്ന ഏവരുടെയും സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും തന്നെത്താൻ മലിനയാക്കി.
8 And she forsook not her fornication with the Egyptians: for in her youth they committed fornication with her, and they deflowered her, and poured out their fornication upon her.
മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും അവൾ വിട്ടില്ല; അവർ അവളുടെ യൌവനത്തിൽ അവളോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു, അവളുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി തങ്ങളുടെ പരസംഗം അവളുടെമേൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു.
9 Therefore I delivered her into the hands of her lovers, into the hands of the children of the Assyrians, on whom she doted.
അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവളെ അവളുടെ ജാരന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ, അവൾ മോഹിച്ചിരുന്ന അശ്ശൂൎയ്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നേ, ഏല്പിച്ചു.
10 They uncovered her shame: they took her sons and daughters, and killed her with the sword: and she became a byword amongst women: and they wrought vengeance in her for the sake of the daughters.
അവർ അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കി, അവളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിക്കയും അവളെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു; അവർ അവളുടെമേൽ വിധി നടത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു അവൾ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു നിന്ദാപാത്രമായിത്തീൎന്നു.
11 And her sister Ooliba saw [it], and she indulged in her fondness more corruptly than she, and in her fornication more than the fornication of her sister.
എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയായ ഒഹൊലീബാ ഇതു കണ്ടിട്ടും തന്റെ കാമവികാരത്തിൽ അവളെക്കാളും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയിൽ സഹോദരിയുടെ വേശ്യവൃത്തിയെക്കാളും അധികം വഷളത്വം പ്രവൎത്തിച്ചു.
12 She doted upon the sons of the Assyrian, princes and captains, her neighbours, clothed with fine linen, horsemen riding on horses; [they were] all choice young men.
മോടിയായി ഉടുത്തുചമഞ്ഞ ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളുമായി സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂൎയ്യരെ മോഹിച്ചു,
13 And I saw that they were defiled, [that] the two [had] one way.
അവളും തന്നെത്താൻ മലിനയാക്കി എന്നു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; ഇരുവരും ഒരു വഴിയിൽ തന്നേ നടന്നു.
14 And she increased her fornication, and she saw men painted on the wall, likenesses of the Chaldeans painted with a pencil,
അവൾ പിന്നെയും പരസംഗം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ചായില്യംകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ കല്ദയരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ,
15 having variegated girdles on their loins, having also richly dyed [attire] upon their heads; all had a princely appearance, the likeness of the children of the Chaldeans, of their native land.
കല്ദയദേശം ജന്മഭൂമിയായുള്ള ബാബേല്ക്കാരുടെ രൂപത്തിൽ അരെക്കു കച്ചകെട്ടി തലയിൽ തലപ്പാവു ചുറ്റി കാഴ്ചെക്കു ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ തന്നേ ചുവരിന്മേൽ വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു അവൾ കണ്ടു.
16 And she doted upon them as soon as she saw them, and sent forth messengers to them into the land of the Chaldeans.
കണ്ട ഉടനെ അവൾ അവരെ മോഹിച്ചു, കല്ദയദേശത്തിലേക്കു അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു.
17 And the sons of Babylon came to her, into the bed of rest, and they defiled her in her fornication, and she was defiled by them, and her soul was alienated from them.
അങ്ങനെ ബാബേല്ക്കാർ പ്രേമശയനത്തിന്നായി അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പരസംഗംകൊണ്ടു അവളെ മലിനയാക്കി; അവൾ അവരാൽ മലിനയായ്തീൎന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൾക്കു അവരോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി.
18 And she exposed her fornication, and exposed her shame: and my soul was alienated from her, even as my soul was alienated from her sister.
ഇങ്ങനെ അവൾ തന്റെ പരസംഗം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി തന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കിയപ്പോൾ, എനിക്കു അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയോടു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയതുപോലെ അവളോടും വെറുപ്പു തോന്നി.
19 And you did multiply your fornication, so as to call to remembrance the days of your youth, wherein you did commit whoredom in Egypt,
എന്നിട്ടും അവൾ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു പരസംഗം ചെയ്ത തന്റെ യൌവനകാലം ഓൎത്തു പരസംഗം വൎദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.
20 and you did dote upon the Chaldeans, whose flesh is as the flesh of the asses, and their members [as] the members of horses.
കഴുതകളുടെ ലിംഗംപോലെ ലിംഗവും കുതിരകളുടെ ബീജസ്രവണംപോലെ ബീജസ്രവണവും ഉള്ള ജാരന്മാരെ അവൾ മോഹിച്ചു.
21 And you did look upon the iniquity of your youth, [the things] which you wrought in Egypt in your lodgings, where were the breasts of your youth.
ഇങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ യൌവനസ്തനങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം മിസ്രയീമ്യർ നിന്റെ കുജാഗ്രങ്ങളെ ഞെക്കിയതായ നിന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ ദുഷ്കൎമ്മം നീ തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കി.
22 Therefore, Ooliba, thus says the Lord; Behold, I [will] stir up your lovers against you, from whom your soul is alienated, and I will bring them upon you round about,
അതുകൊണ്ടു ഒഹൊലീബയേ, യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേല്ക്കാർ, കല്ദയർ ഒക്കെയും, പെക്കോദ്യർ, ശോവ്യർ,
23 the children of Babylon, and all the Chaldeans, Phacuc, and Sue, and Hychue, and all the sons of the Assyrians with them; choice young men, governors and captains, all princes and renowned, riding on horses.
കോവ്യർ, അശ്ശൂര്യർ ഒക്കെയും എന്നിങ്ങനെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും വിശ്രുതന്മാരും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരുമായി, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ജാരന്മാരെ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി ഉണൎത്തി ചുറ്റും നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും.
24 And they all shall come upon you from the north, chariots and wheels, with a multitude of nations, shields and targets; and [the enemy] shall set a watch against you round about: and I will set judgement before them, and they shall take vengeance on you with their judgements.
അവർ അനവധി രഥങ്ങളും വണ്ടികളും ഒരു ജനസമൂഹവുമായി നിന്റെ നേരെ വരും; അവർ പരിചയും പലകയും പിടിച്ചു തലക്കോരിക ഇട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ വന്നു വളയും; ഞാൻ ന്യായവിധി അവൎക്കു ഭരമേല്പിക്കും; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങൾക്കു അനുസാരമായി നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും.
25 And I will bring upon you my jealousy, and they shall deal with you in great wrath: they shall take away your nose and your ears; and shall cast down your remnant with the sword: they shall take your sons and your daughters; and your remnant fire shall devour.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണത നിന്റെ നേരെ പ്രയോഗിക്കും; അവർ ക്രോധത്തോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറും; അവർ നിന്റെ മൂക്കും ചെവിയും ചെത്തിക്കളയും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; അവർ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർ തീക്കിരയാകും.
26 And they shall strip you of your raiment, and take [away] your ornaments.
അവർ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം ഉരിഞ്ഞു ആഭരണങ്ങളെ എടുത്തുകളയും.
27 So I will turn back your ungodliness from you, and your fornication from the land of Egypt: and you shall not lift up your eyes upon them, and shall no more remember Egypt.
ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദുൎമ്മൎയ്യാദയും, മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും നിൎത്തലാക്കും; നീ ഇനി അവരെ തലപൊക്കി നോക്കുകയില്ല, മിസ്രയീമിനെ ഓൎക്കുകയുമില്ല.
28 Therefore thus says the Lord God; Behold, I [will] deliver you into the hands of those whom you hate, from whom your soul is alienated.
യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നീ പകെക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നേ, ഏല്പിക്കും.
29 And they shall deal with you in hatred, and shall take all [the fruits] of your labours and your toils, and you shall be naked and bare: and the shame of your fornication shall be exposed: and your ungodliness and your fornication
അവർ പകയോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറി, നിന്റെ സമ്പാദ്യം ഒക്കെയും എടുത്തു, നിന്നെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആക്കിവിടും; അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ നഗ്നതയും നിന്റെ ദുൎമ്മൎയ്യാദയും പരസംഗങ്ങളും വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും.
30 brought this upon you, in that you went a-whoring after the nations, and did defile yourself with their devices.
നീ ജാതികളോടു ചേന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മലിനയാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടും ഇതു നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കും.
31 You did walk in the way of your sister; and I will put her cup into your hands.
നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവളുടെ പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ തരും.
32 Thus says the Lord; Drink your sister's cup, deep and large, and full, to cause complete drunkenness.
യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ കുഴിയും വട്ടവും ഉള്ള പാനപാത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു കുടിച്ചു നിന്ദെക്കും പരിഹാസത്തിന്നും വിഷയമായ്തീരും; അതിൽ വളരെ കൊള്ളുമല്ലോ.
33 And you shall be thoroughly weakened; and the cup of destruction, the cup of your sister Samaria,
സ്തംഭനവും ശൂന്യതയുമുള്ള പാനപാത്രമായി നിന്റെ സഹോദരി ശമൎയ്യരുടെ പാനപാത്രമായ ലഹരിയും ദുഃഖവുംകൊണ്ടു നീ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
34 drink you it, and I will take away her feasts and her new moons: for I have spoken [it], says the Lord.
നീ അതു കുടിച്ചു വറ്റിച്ചു ഉടെച്ചു കഷണങ്ങളെ നക്കി നിന്റെ മുലകളെ കീറിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
35 Therefore thus says the Lord; Because you has forgotten me, and cast me behind your back, therefore receive you [the reward] of your ungodliness and your fornication.
ആകയാൽ യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ എന്നെ മറന്നു എന്നെ നിന്റെ പിറകിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളകകൊണ്ടു നീ നിന്റെ ദുൎമ്മൎയ്യാദയും പരസംഗവും വഹിക്ക.
36 And the Lord said to me, Son of man, will you not judge Oola and Ooliba? and declare to them their iniquities?
പിന്നെയും യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഒഹൊലയെയും ഒഹൊലീബയെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കുമോ? എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളെ അവരോടു അറിയിക്ക.
37 For they have committed adultery, and blood was in their hands, they committed adultery with their devices, and they passed through the fire to them their children which they bore to me.
അവർ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു, അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ രക്തം ഉണ്ടു; തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു അവർ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു; അവർ എനിക്കു പ്രസവിച്ച മക്കളെ അവെക്കു ഭോജനമായി അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചു.
38 So long too as they did these things to me, they defiled my sanctuary, and profaned my sabbaths.
ഒന്നുകൂടെ അവർ എന്നോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു: അന്നാളിൽ തന്നേ അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ തീണ്ടിച്ചു എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.
39 And when they sacrificed their children to their idols, they also went into my sanctuary to profane it: and whereas they did thus in the midst of my house;
അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി കൊന്ന ശേഷം അന്നു തന്നേ അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിലേക്കു വന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെയത്രേ അവർ എന്റെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ചെയ്തതു.
40 and whereas they did thus to the men that came from afar, to whom they sent messengers, and as soon as they came, immediately you did wash yourself, and did paint your eyes and adorn yourself with ornaments,
ഇതുകൂടാതെ, ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു വന്ന പുരുഷന്മാൎക്കു അവർ ആളയച്ചു; ഒരു ദൂതൻ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന ഉടനെ അവർ വന്നു; അവൎക്കു വേണ്ടി നീ കുളിച്ചു, കണ്ണിൽ മഷി എഴുതി, ആഭരണം അണിഞ്ഞു,
41 and sat on a prepared bed, and before it [there was] a table set out, and [as for] mine incense and mine oil, they rejoiced in them,
ഭംഗിയുള്ളോരു കട്ടിലിന്മേൽ ഇരുന്നു, അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒരു മേശ ഒരുക്കി, അതിന്മേൽ എന്റെ കുന്തുരുക്കവും എണ്ണയും വെച്ചു.
42 and they raised a sound of music, and [that] with men coming from the wilderness out of a multitude of men, and they put bracelets on their hands, and a crown of glory on their heads;
നിൎഭയമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ഘോഷം അവളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ജനസമൂഹത്തിലെ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ അവർ ആളയച്ചു, മരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു കുടിയന്മാരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവർ അവരുടെ കൈക്കു വളയിടുകയും തലയിൽ ഭംഗിയുള്ള കിരീടങ്ങൾ വെക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
43 Therefore I said, Do they not commit adultery with these? and has she also gone a-whoring [after] the manner of a harlot?
അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ: കിഴവിയായവൾ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യും; ഇപ്പോൾ അവർ അവളോടും അവൾ അവരോടും പരസംഗം ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
44 And they went in to her, as [men] go in to a harlot; so they went in to Oola and to Ooliba to work iniquity.
അങ്ങനെ വേശ്യയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അതെ അവർ കാമുകികളായ ഒഹൊലയുടെ അടുക്കലും ഒഹൊലീബയുടെ അടുക്കലും ചെന്നു.
45 And they are just men, and shall take vengeance on them with the judgement of an adulteress and the judgement of blood: for they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
എന്നാൽ നീതിമാന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും രക്തപാതകികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും; അവർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികളല്ലോ; അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ രക്തവും ഉണ്ടു.
46 Thus says the Lord God, Bring up a multitude upon them, and send trouble and plunder into the midst of them.
യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു സഭ കൂട്ടി അവരെ പരിഭ്രമത്തിന്നും കവൎച്ചെക്കും ഏല്പിക്കും.
47 And stone them with the stones of a multitude, and pierce them with their swords: they shall kill their sons and their daughters, and shall burn up their houses.
ആ സഭ അവരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു വാൾകൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അവർ കൊന്നു അവരുടെ വീടുകളെ തീവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും.
48 And I will remove ungodliness out of the land, and all the women shall be instructed, and shall not do according to their ungodliness.
ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുൎമ്മൎയ്യാദപോലെ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ സകലസ്ത്രീകളും ഒരു പാഠം പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ദുൎമ്മൎയ്യാദ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും.
49 And your ungodliness shall be recompensed upon you, and you shall bear the guilt of your devices: and you shall know that I am the Lord.
അങ്ങനെ അവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുൎമ്മൎയ്യാദെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ചുമക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
