< Deuteronomy 16 >

1 Observe the month of new [corn], and you shall sacrifice the passover to the Lord your God; because in the month of new corn you came out of Egypt by night.
“Ɖo ŋku edzi nàɖu Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui la le ɣleti gbãtɔ me, elabena ɣleti ma mee Yehowa, wò Mawu la kplɔ mi dzoe le Egipte le zã me.
2 And you shall sacrifice the passover to the Lord your God, sheep and oxen in the place which the Lord your God shall choose to have his name called upon it.
Wò Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui la ƒe vɔsa nanye alẽwo loo alo nyiwo, eye nàsa vɔ la na Yehowa, wò Mawu la le kɔkɔeƒe la.
3 You shall not eat leaven with it; seven days shall you eat unleavened [bread] with it, bread of affliction, because you came forth out of Egypt in haste; that you may remember the day of your coming forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
Miɖu vɔsalã la kple abolo maʋamaʋã. Ɖu abolo maʋamaʋã ŋkeke adre abe ŋkuɖoɖo abolo si mieɖu esi mienɔ sisim tso Egipte la dzi ene. Esia naɖo ŋku edzi na wò be, esi mienɔ sisim le Egipte la, mienɔ kplakplakpla dzi ale gbegbe be, ɣeyiɣi menɔ anyi be abolo naʋã o. Ɖo ŋku ŋkeke ma dzi le wò agbemeŋkeke mamlɛawo katã me!
4 Leaven shall not be seen with you in all your borders for seven days, and there shall not be left of the flesh which you shall sacrifice at even on the first day until the morning.
Mègana amɔʋãtike aɖeke nanɔ wò aƒe me le ŋkeke adreawo me o. Gawu la, mègana Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui la ƒe lã la ƒe akpa aɖeke natsi anyi ŋu nake ɖe edzi o.
5 you shall not have power to sacrifice the passover in any of the cities, which the Lord your God gives you.
“Mègaɖu Ŋutitotoŋkekenyui la le du siwo Yehowa, wò Mawu la ana wò la dometɔ aɖeke me o,
6 But in the place which the Lord your God shall choose, to have his name called there, you shall sacrifice the passover at even at the setting of the sun, at the time when you came out of Egypt.
ke boŋ nàɖui le teƒe si Yehowa wò Mawu atia abe eƒe kɔkɔeƒe ene. Tsɔ lã la sa vɔe le afi ma le ŋkekenyui la ƒe fiẽ me ne ɣe ɖo to.
7 And you shall boil and roast and eat it in the place, which the Lord your God shall choose; and you shall return in the morning, and go to your house.
Me lã la, eye nàɖui le afi si Yehowa wò Mawu atia na wò. Ɖo ta aƒe me le fɔŋli.
8 Six days shall you eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day is a holiday, a feast to the Lord your God: you shall not do in it any work, save what must be done by any one.
Le ŋkeke ade siwo adze eyome me la, màɖu abolo ʋaʋã aɖeke o, ke le ŋkeke adrelia gbe la, du sia du me tɔwo akpe ta ɖe Yehowa, wò Mawu la ŋkume. Mègawɔ dɔ aɖeke gbe ma gbe o.”
9 Seven weeks shall you number to yourself; when you have begun [to put] the sickle to the corn, you shall begin to number seven weeks.
“Ne èdze wò nukuwo xaxa gɔme, eye kɔsiɖa adre va yi la,
10 And you shall keep the feast of weeks to the Lord your God, accordingly as your hand has power in as many things as the Lord your God shall give you.
àgaɖu ŋkekenyui bubu le Yehowa, wò Mawu la ŋkume. Ŋkekenyui sia ŋkɔe nye Kɔsiɖawo ƒe Ŋkekenyui. Le ŋkekenyui sia dzi la, ele be nàwɔ lɔlɔ̃nuvɔsa si asɔ kple yayra si Yehowa, wò Mawu la kɔ ɖe dziwò le agblemenuku siwo nèxa la ƒe agbɔsɔsɔ nu.
11 And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son, and your daughter, your man-servant and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow which dwells amongst you, in whatever place the Lord your God shall choose, that his name should be called there.
Enye ɣeyiɣi si dzi nàtso aseye le, le Yehowa wò Mawu ŋkume kple wò ƒometɔwo kple wò dɔlaŋutsuwo kple dɔlanyɔnuwo. Mègaŋlɔ Levitɔwo, amedzrowo, ahosiwo kple tsyɔ̃evi siwo le mia dome la be o. Kpe wo be woava ɖu ŋkekenyui la kpli wò le kɔkɔeƒe la.
12 And you shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and you shall observe and do these commands.
Ɖo ŋku edzi be, ènye kluvi le Egipte kpɔ, eya ta kpɔ be yewɔ se sia dzi.”
13 You shall keep for yourself the feast of tabernacles seven days, when you gather in [your produce] from your corn-floor and your wine-press.
Ne nuŋeɣi wu nu la, àgaɖu ŋkekenyui bubu si nye Agbadɔmeŋkekenyui, ŋkeke adre sɔŋ, ne èklẽ wò bli, eye nèfia wò wain vɔ.
14 And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, your man-servant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow that is in your cities.
Esia anye dzidzɔɣi kple aseyetsoŋkekenyui na wò kple wò ƒometɔwo kple wò subɔlawo siaa. Ɖo ŋku edzi nàkpe Levitɔwo, amedzrowo kple tsyɔ̃eviwo kple ahosi siwo le wò du me.
15 Seven days shall you keep a feast to the Lord your God in the place which the Lord your God shall choose for himself; and if the Lord your God shall bless you in all your fruits, and in every work of your hands, then you shall rejoice.
Ɖu ŋkekenyui sia le kɔkɔeƒe, afi si dzi Yehowa wò Mawu atɔ asii. Enye ɣeyiɣi vevi aɖe si dzi wòle be nàda akpe tɔxɛ na Yehowa, ɖe ale si wòyra wò le nuku siwo nèxa kple ale si wòyra wò le mɔ bubu geɖewo nu la ta. Ele be wòanye aseyetsoŋkekenyui gã aɖe.
16 Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the Lord your God in the place which the Lord shall choose in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: you shall not appear before the Lord your God empty.
Ele be Israel ŋutsu ɖe sia ɖe nado ɖe Yehowa, miaƒe Mawu la ŋkume, le kɔkɔeƒe la zi etɔ̃ le ƒe sia ƒe me hena ŋkekenyui siawo ɖuɖu: Abolo Maʋamaʋã ƒe Ŋkekenyui, Kɔsiɖawo ƒe Ŋkekenyui, Agbadɔmeŋkekenyui. Ele be nàtsɔ nunana aɖe vɛ na Yehowa le ŋkekenyui siawo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe dzi.
17 Each one according to his ability, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which he has given you.
Na nu abe ale si nàte ŋui ene le ale si Yehowa miaƒe Mawu yra wòe la nu.
18 You shall make for yourself judges and officers in your cities, which the Lord your God gives you in [your] tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgement:
Ɖo ʋɔnudrɔ̃lawo kple dzikpɔlawo ɖe du siwo katã Yehowa miaƒe Mawu le mia nam la me. Woadrɔ̃ ʋɔnu le dukɔ la ƒe akpa ɖe sia ɖe me.
19 they shall not wrest judgement, nor favour persons, nor receive a gift; for gifts blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
Mègatrɔ ʋɔnunya aɖeke be wòade hotsuitɔ aɖeke dzi o, eye mègaxɔ zãnu hã gbeɖegbeɖe o, elabena zãnu gbãa ŋku na nunyalawo kekeake gɔ̃ hã, eye wògblẽa woƒe afiatsotso.
20 You shall justly pursue justice, that you may live, and go in and inherit the land which the Lord your God gives you.
Ele be nàkpɔ egbɔ be wolé nya dzɔdzɔe ko ɖe te. Mɔ sia nu ko nàto hafi akpɔ dzidzedze le anyigba si Yehowa, wò Mawu la le nawòm la dzi.
21 You shall not plant for yourself a grove; you shall not plant for yourself any tree near the altar of your God.
“Mègaɖi aƒeli aɖeke ƒomevi ɖe Yehowa, wò Mawu la ƒe vɔsamlekpui la gbɔ, aɖi gbɔ̃e gbeɖegbeɖe o,
22 You shall not set up for yourself a pillar, which the Lord your God hates.
eye mègali aƒeli aɖeke hã o, elabena Yehowa miaƒe Mawu lé fu wo.
