Deuteronomy 11

1 Therefore you shall love the Lord your God, and shall observe his appointments, and his ordinances, and his commandments, and his judgements, always.

൧അതിനാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ സ്നേഹിച്ച് അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും കല്പനകളും എല്ലായ്പോഴും പ്രമാണിക്കണം.

2 And you shall know this day; for [I speak] not to your children, who know not and have not seen the discipline of the Lord your God, and his wonderful works, and his strong hand, and his high arm,

൨നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ മഹാപ്രവൃത്തികൾ അറിയാത്ത നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളോടല്ല ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നത്.

3 and his miracles, and his wonders, which he wrought in the midst of Egypt on Pharao king of Egypt, and all his land;

൩അവന്റെ ശിക്ഷണം, മഹത്വം, ബലമുള്ള കൈ, നീട്ടിയ ഭുജം, അവൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ഈജിപ്റ്റ് രാജാവായ ഫറവോനോടും അവന്റെ സകലദേശത്തോടും ചെയ്ത അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങൾ, അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ,

4 and what he did to the host of the Egyptians, and to their chariots, and their cavalry, and their host; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overwhelm the face of them as they pursued after you, and the Lord destroyed them until this day;

൪അവൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാരുടെ സൈന്യത്തോടും കുതിരകളോടും രഥങ്ങളോടും ചെയ്തത്, അവർ നിങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടർന്നപ്പോൾ അവൻ ചെങ്കടലിലെ വെള്ളം അവരുടെ മേൽ ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കി അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചത്,

5 and all the things which he did to you in the wilderness until you came into this place;

൫നിങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ വരുവോളം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ നടത്തിയത്, എല്ലാം നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു.

6 and all the things that he did to Dathan and Abiron the sons of Eliab the son of Ruben, whom the earth opening her mouth swallowed up, and their houses, and their tents, and all their substance that was with them, in the midst of all Israel:

൬അവൻ രൂബേന്റെ മകനായ എലീയാബിന്റെ മക്കളായ ദാഥാനോടും അബീരാമിനോടും ചെയ്തത്, ഭൂമി വാ പിളർന്ന് അവരെയും കുടുംബങ്ങളെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളെയും യിസ്രായേൽ ജനത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ അവർക്കുള്ള സകലജീവികളെയും വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞത് എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങളും അറിയാത്തവരല്ല നിങ്ങൾ എന്ന് ഓർത്തുകൊള്ളുവീൻ.

7 for your eyes have seen all the mighty works of the Lord, which he wrought amongst you today.

൭യഹോവ ചെയ്ത മഹാപ്രവൃത്തികൾ നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ണ് കൊണ്ട് കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

8 And you shall keep all his commandments, as many as I command you today, that you may live, and be multiplied, and that you may go in and inherit the land, into which you go across Jordan to inherit it:

൮ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ബലപ്പെടുവാനും നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ പോകുന്ന ദേശം കീഴടക്കുവാനും

9 that you may live long upon the land, which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, and to their seed after them, a land flowing with milk and honey.

൯യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കും അവരുടെ സന്തതികൾക്കും കൊടുക്കുമെന്ന് അവരോട് സത്യംചെയ്ത, പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്ത്, നിങ്ങൾ ദീർഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കുവാൻ, ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും പ്രമാണിച്ച് നടക്കുവിൻ.

10 For the land into which you go to inherit it, is not as the land of Egypt, whence you came out, whenever they sow the seed, and water it with their feet, as a garden of herbs:

൧൦നീ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശം നീ വിട്ടുപോന്ന ഈജിപ്റ്റ് ദേശംപോലെയല്ല; അവിടെ നീ വിത്ത് വിതച്ചിട്ട് പച്ചക്കറിത്തോട്ടം പോലെ നിന്റെ കാലുകൊണ്ട് നനയ്ക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു.

11 but the land into which you go to inherit it, is a land of mountains and plains; it shall drink water of the rain of heaven.

൧൧നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശം, മലകളും താഴ്വരകളും ഉള്ളതും ആകാശത്തുനിന്ന് പെയ്യുന്ന മഴവെള്ളം ലഭിക്കുന്നതും

12 A land which the Lord your God surveys continually, the eyes of the Lord your God are upon it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

൧൨നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നതുമായ ദേശമാകുന്നു. ആണ്ടിന്റെ ആരംഭംമുതൽ അവസാനംവരെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടി എപ്പോഴും അതിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

13 Now if you will indeed listen to all the commands which I charge you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart, and with all your soul,

൧൩നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നിങ്ങൾ സ്നേഹിക്കുകയും പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂർണ്ണ മനസ്സോടുംകൂടി അവനെ സേവിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് നിങ്ങളോട് കല്പിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ കല്പനകൾ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ അനുസരിച്ചാൽ

14 then he shall give to your land the early and latter rain in its season, and you shall bring in your corn, and your wine, and your oil.

൧൪ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞും എണ്ണയും ശേഖരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ തക്കസമയത്ത് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തിന് ആവശ്യമായ മുൻമഴയും പിൻമഴയും പെയ്യിക്കും.

15 And he shall give food in your fields to your cattle; and when you have eaten and are full,

൧൫ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നിലത്ത് നിന്റെ നാൽക്കാലികൾക്ക് പുല്ലും തരും; നീ തൃപ്തിയാകുംവണ്ണം ഭക്ഷിക്കും.

16 take heed to yourself that your heart be not puffed up, and you transgress, and serve other gods, and worship them:

൧൬നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന് ഭോഷത്തം പറ്റുകയും നിങ്ങൾ നേർവഴി വിട്ട് അന്യദൈവങ്ങളെ സേവിച്ച് നമസ്കരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിൻ.

17 and the Lord be angry with you, and restrain the heaven; and there shall not be rain, and the earth shall not yield its fruit, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land, which the Lord has given you.

൧൭അല്ലെങ്കിൽ യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധം നിങ്ങളുടെനേരെ ജ്വലിച്ച് മഴ പെയ്യാതെ അവൻ ആകാശം അടച്ചുകളകയും ഭൂമി അനുഭവം തരാതിരിക്കുകയും യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തരുന്ന നല്ലദേശത്തുനിന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ വേഗം നശിച്ചുപോവുകയും ചെയ്യും.

18 And you shall store these words in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and it shall be fixed before your eyes.

൧൮ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിലും മനസ്സിലും സംഗ്രഹിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈമേൽ അടയാളമായി കെട്ടുകയും അവ നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകൾക്ക് മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ നെറ്റിപ്പട്ടമായി ധരിക്കുകയും വേണം.

19 And you shall teach them to your children, so as to speak about them when you sit in the house, and when you walk by the way, and when you sleep, and when you rise up.

൧൯വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോഴും വഴി നടക്കുമ്പോഴും കിടക്കുമ്പോഴും എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുമ്പോഴും നിങ്ങൾ അവയെക്കുറിച്ച് സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്ക് അവ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുക്കേണം.

20 And you shall write them on the lintels of your houses, and on your gates;

൨൦യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്‍വ്വ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്ക് കൊടുക്കുമെന്ന് അവരോട് സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്ത് നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളും ഭൂമിക്കുമീതെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളം ദീർഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്

21 that your days may be long, and the days of your children, upon the land which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

൨൧അവ നിന്റെ വീടിന്റെ കട്ടിളകളിൻ മേലും പടിവാതിലുകളിലും എഴുതണം.

22 And it shall come to pass that if you will indeed listen to all these commands, which I charge you to observe this day, to love the Lord our God, and to walk in all his ways, and to cleave close to him;

൨൨ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന ഈ സകല കല്പനകളും ജാഗ്രതയോടെ പ്രമാണിച്ച് നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ സ്നേഹിക്കയും അവന്റെ എല്ലാ വഴികളിലും നടന്ന് അവനോട് ചേർന്നിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ

23 then the Lord shall cast out all these nations before you, and you shall inherit great nations and stronger than yourselves.

൨൩യഹോവ ഈ ജനതകളെയെല്ലാം നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്ന് നീക്കിക്കളയും; നിങ്ങളേക്കാൾ വലിപ്പവും ബലവുമുള്ള ജാതികളുടെ ദേശം നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കും.

24 Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be your; from the wilderness and Antilibanus, and from the great river, the river Euphrates, even as far as the west sea shall be your coasts.

൨൪നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളങ്കാൽ ചവിട്ടുന്ന ഇടമൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങളുടേതാകും. നിങ്ങളുടെ അതിർ മരുഭൂമിമുതൽ ലെബാനോൻ വരെയും യൂഫ്രട്ടീസ് നദിമുതൽ പടിഞ്ഞാറെ കടൽ വരെയും ആകും.

25 No one shall stand before you; and the Lord your God will put the fear of you and the dread of you on the face of all the land, on which you shall tread, as he told you.

൨൫ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്‍ക്കുകയില്ല. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവൻ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പേടിയും ഭീതിയും നിങ്ങൾ ചെല്ലുന്ന സകലദിക്കിലും വരുത്തും.

26 Behold, I set before you this day the blessing and the curse;

൨൬ഇതാ, ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് അനുഗ്രഹവും ശാപവും നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വയ്ക്കുന്നു.

27 the blessing, if you listen to the commands of the Lord your God, all that I command you this day;

൨൭ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകൾ നിങ്ങൾ അനുസരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അനുഗ്രഹവും

28 and the curse, if you do not listen to the commands of the Lord our God, as many as I command you this day, and you wander from the way which I have commanded you, having gone to serve other gods, which you know not.

൨൮അവിടുത്തെ കല്പനകൾ അനുസരിക്കാതെ ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് കല്പിക്കുന്ന വഴി വിട്ടുമാറി നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അന്യദൈവങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെല്ലുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ശാപവും വരും.

29 And it shall come to pass when the Lord your God shall have brought you into the land into which you go over to inherit it, then you shall put blessing on mount Garizin, and the curse upon mount Gaebal.

൨൯നീ കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്ത് നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ എത്തിച്ചശേഷം, ഗെരിസീം മലയിൽവച്ച് അനുഗ്രഹവും ഏബാൽ മലയിൽവച്ച് ശാപവും പ്രസ്താവിക്കണം.

30 Behold! are not these beyond Jordan, behind, westward in the land of Chanaan, which lies westward near Golgol, by the high oak?

൩൦ആ മലകൾ ഗില്ഗാലിനെതിരായി മോരെ തോപ്പിനരികിൽ അരാബയിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന കനാന്യരുടെ ദേശത്ത് യോർദ്ദാന്‍ നദിക്കക്കരെ പടിഞ്ഞാറുഭാഗത്താണല്ലോ ഉള്ളത്.

31 For you are passing over Jordan, to go in and inherit the land, which the Lord our God gives you to inherit always, and you shall dwell in it.

൩൧നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തരുന്ന ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന് നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ നദി കടന്നുചെന്ന് അതിനെ കീഴടക്കി അവിടെ വസിക്കും.

32 And you shall take heed to do all his ordinances, and these judgements, as many as I set before you today.

൩൨ഞാൻ ഇന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വയ്ക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും നിങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കണം.
