< Psalms 52 >

1 To the chief music-maker. Maschil. Of David. When Doeg the Edomite came to Saul saying, David has come to the house of Ahimelech. Why do you take pride in wrongdoing, lifting yourself up against the upright man all the day?
Galhang nangma idia na thilse bol ho kiletsahpi nahim? Pathen thutan dihje hi tonsotna acheing helou nahim?
2 Purposing destruction, using deceit; your tongue is like a sharp blade.
Nilhum kei keijin nangman manthahna ding jeng na gong e. Na leigui in jong samchem hemtah in mi a-at abang’in; jouthu sei in nangma anthem lheh e.
3 You have more love for evil than for good, for deceit than for works of righteousness. (Selah)
Nang’in thilpha sang’in thilse na deijon, thutah sangin jong jou nadeijoi.
4 Destruction is in all your words, O false tongue.
Nathu jou hoa chun nangman mi suhmang ding nadei e!
5 But God will put an end to you for ever; driving you out from your tent, uprooting you from the land of the living. (Selah)
Hinlah Pathen’in nangma na hin suhmanghel ding ahi. Aman na in’a kon a nahin kaidoh ding chuleh mihing chenna gam’a kon’a na hin bodoh ding ahi.
6 The upright will see it with fear, and will say, laughing at you:
Mi chonpha hon hichu hin muvintin ahin datmo di’u ahi. Amahon hin nuisat intin aseidi’u ahi,
7 See, this is the man who did not make God his strength, but had faith in his goods and his property, and made himself strong in his wealth.
“Veuvin Pathen tahsanlou galhat ho chung’a hi ipi thil soh’a hitam? Amaho ahao nao a akisong’un, athilse bol nao a akhangtou cheh cheh un ahi.
8 But I am like a branching olive-tree in the house of God; I have put my faith in his mercy for ever and ever.
Hinlah, keima vang Pathen houin sung’a keh Olive thing hing hoitah tobang kahin, keiman phattin’a Pathen mi ngailutna long lou chu katahsan jing ding ahi.
9 I will give you praise without end for what you have done; I will give honour to your name before your saints, for it is good.
O Pathen na thilpha bol jeh hin nangma thangvah jing ingting na mithengte masang’a na min ngeitah chu tahsan jing tang’e.
